Ya. I just picked up a copy of Civ/Adv Civ and Mare Nostrum. Those focus on only the ancient world as you mention I think. I think those two are the last on my list to play of the big hitters.... Well and 7 Ages.
Yeah I was wondering if you had ever played Sid Meier's Civilization from Fantasy Flight? Its pretty cool and does have it set up where you can win in the 4 ways like in the Civilization computer game.
Honestly, I haven't seen very much downtime at all. I mean, there's "some", but not more than I would expect in a game of this scope. This gets better with more plays of course.
Through the ages is the shit! :D One of my favourite games all times! But this one is also really wonderful and the two make up the best civ experiences for me hands down. It doesn't get much better than this.. Thnx for yet a great review.
Curious as to how you'd rate this in comparison to the other civ games out there now that we're a few years farther down the road (in particular, the new version of Through the Ages).
