How is this plugin not being talked about more? It's so awesome! Great demonstration of how powerful it is to shape the tone! I personally love Melda's MMorph and MVocoder plugins, mainly for mid-rangey synth bass sounds, because it makes everything sound that much cooler!
9:32 Thank you for the review and demonstration! Quick hint for Melda's MultiBand Plugins: Right-Click the three bands and you can not only select the type of MultiBand (Split by Frequency, Transientsy, Volume, ..) but you can also choose to *use up to 6 bands.* Melda is mental and I love it.
@@SejaSuaEssenciaYes. You can set it how ever you want. There’s also panorama (LCR), mid-side, and parallel, which means no crossover and just maximum of 6 cabs playing all at once. There’s endless combinations.
Aweosme video! Great flow of ideas and great sounds! This is my favorite IR blender, hands down. Its hard to learn with all the buttons and knobs but once you get comfortable, the functionality is the best out of every other loader out there. I like your approach for getting started with the MB version but yeah, solo button. I wanted to share some other fun-facts: It auto-aligns IRs that have longer silences at the front (like Ownhammer) VS the MPT stuff. No need to mess with delay alignment. It just works right out the gate. You can just drag and drop .wav files from a regular explorer/computer folder straight into that graphical area. In case you dont like dealing with the Melda folder system. Less clicking around and youre already used to your normal computer folders so its just way easier to manage things that way. The smoothing is the best part and what makes it super unique. I only wish the smoothing and other knobs in that area would be unique for each profile. Would be nice to smooth just that Pantera IR but leave the Gojira one fully "sharp". It can be done with MCabinetMB by right-clicking in the crossover area and selecting "Parallel" (btw, check out the other crossover types... its crazy) but I wish it would work on the regular MCabinet that way. When it first starts up, to get to the screen that is featured in the video, you have to hit the "edit" button on the top-right of the plugin. Their new versions of this plugin have a regular looking GUI's to appeal to normies. Skip it and hit that edit button and dig in! Great plugin. I genuinely only use Melda for my IR needs. I use MConvolutionEZ for simple 1 IR plug-n-play and then I use MCabinet when I want to blend. Both of them allow for that drag-n-drop thing I mentioned above so theyre super fast to use. Cheers, brother!
Oh man thats powerful. Comparing to Libra: so in this you load an IR and it doesn't load the actual IR but draws an EQ curve, meaning you can combine multiple IRS without phasing issues as occurs in Libra right? Instantly then you've got two polar opposite IR loaders and Mikko stuck in the middle... the 3 ultimate IR loaders if I'm not mistaken?! 🙂
Your review was pro I thought your channel was already really big. You can get to 25k in no time, keep going at it. Not enough people reviewing melda too its a solid niche
On my listen bus is just sonarworks that’s not in the capture video. In the main bud it’s just a limiter to bring up the volume and source nexus which is used for capturing the audio of the daw.

It is very good man. Can I choose which frequencies I want?

oh hell yeah ...love the IRs for patches in live shows too! I like your adjustments
A deep dive on Turboamp and MAmp would be really fun to watch from you btw. I'm having a lot of fun with MDistortion now too
man thanks a lot
this information can create a unique tone
Great video man! I would have never know about it had you not made this video. Definitely worth a sub! Keep em coming good sir!
Very good presentation and one of our fav tools too! Thanks for this tasteful vid 🙂

Since it exports at a lower volume, how do you normalize the IR?

Interesting! Will give it a try.
Hey its great, one question. In the plugin, can I do graphic equalization at various frequencies?
Ok That blend with the Ola cab was amazing! whats on your master bus tho?

Man thanks, there is some great functions in it
Interface is totally different now, and I cannot get IRs loaded.
You probably see the "Easy Screen" with devices and whatnot. There's an EDIT-button at the top, where you get into the interface shown here.
Great tutorial. What about phase cancellation with different developers and IRs? Cheers from Stockholm.
because it doesn't actually load the file and creates its own curve phase doesn't affect the IR
This would be cool for acoustic ir's
It also loads acoustic. Pretty much everything.
Better than Stl Tones LIBRA ??
Infinitely yes. Way better.
Wicked review! Your channel deeeef needs more subs and traction. Will do my part and sub!
It's pronounced Buugren
Hmm I don’t find IR’s very useful or better than a real cab
