😂 Right from the get-go I said "oh he's whippin out the big ole honkin fishing knife" 😂 That thing looks hecka sharp! Super cute gnome! You always remind me to switch between tools. Thank you Rob! 😊
thank you Rob for sharing ,i look forward in watch you carve ,it great how you carve with either hand ,keep up your great work Rob from frosty Australia
Hey Rob, does drilling a hole up through the bottom of "green wood" help with the cracking? A wall mount does sawing 2 or 3 lines help relieve the "pressure" and help avoid cracking? Good to hear ya, and always good to see ya carve. Great job ! You always inspire!! Hope ya'll are well.
More people should be using native lumber for small work you can use green or air dried if it's quarter sawn carve it first dry it after carved it will dry in a few weeks not direct in sun some cracks will be temporary and dissappear if quarter sawn I do it all the time deep fried kiln dried lumber is awful for carving loose all the good carving qualities at 8% content
Glad to see ya back at it. Hope the back is feeling much better. I love the little qnome with the tiny tiny flower. Thanks again Rob. Be well
