Stunning work! I just got a 3000...do you think it would be possible to achieve this kind of carving? Can you share the burrs you are using? Thank you!
I did most of the work with the 3000. All the burrs, bits in the description below. The diamond bit what I using making the eyes in the set , shape like a tear. 👍
hi i'm new to carving your chanel is great, i wonder if you can tell me what sand paper you use to put on the mandril i have bought some and it does not stick when you fold it round the mandril . i have been a wood turner for 45 years and find the carving is a great challenge also i am crap at typing and working the computer
Hi. When it’s too dusty mine won’t stick either but a little super glue do the trick. I bought them from Lowes. Wood turning is great I love watching videos about on UA-cam.
If you see my older videos and compare the eyes those old ones not so good. What I did I carve deeper both corner of the eyes and that’s made a huge difference.
Performance and torque the Foredom the winner but it’s pricey. I like to use for detail work the Dremel because of the thin hand piece. I think to start just go for a Dremel 4000 and a flex shaft. Hope this helps if you have any questions just let me know

Between half to almost full speed on my Dremel 3000. It’s always depends on bits and types of wood too. Thx

Anything dry around me . This one cuban laurel oak
Thank you for sharing, eye's are my hardest to get right. Merry X-mas
Definitely not easy and need two same ones 😃 if possible. Just practice and go deep in the corners. Merry Christmas
