    Man I was so proud of myself for reaching 1.5 million credits after 300 hours. Then I look at how many credits you have and I just feel impressed.

      Deep Rock Galactic. I would definitely recommend it. The community is very nice, the devs are awesome and the game itself is incredibly fun.

    Dope. Auto, a couple friends, and I are gonna give this a go as well.
    You are still impressive.

      Thanks! I honestly surprised myself at how well I managed the higher hazards with scout.
      Best of luck to you all!

      @@RyeorReal My True-Solo attempt at this (not speed run) is 38 minutes. I just can't handle a swarm and the black box simultaneously (phero-less), and the most risky level being Stage 3 with only a single IW (due to no Bosco) I took my time. But the 4 of us in an hour routed out a sub 15 easy, so it's just gonna be iteration and not messing up next.

      @@olaf.forkbeard I can see a true solo scout struggling through this dive even if he took thorns and armor T4A; the amount of shockers in this edd can be problematic as you saw here in stage 1 they almost killed me. Cryos could be helpful for smaller things but they wouldn't help much with elites in stage 3.
      Nice! What's your team's best time so far?

      @@RyeorReal As of the end of today it's 17:24 for what's been completed. But That's with several larger mistakes still in. We'll get it sub 15 by the time we are done knocking out the mistakes. We are only on attempt 10 or so. Scheduling has been a larger barrier.

    any tips on how the phase through to drop pod is done?

    • @RyeorReal
      @RyeorReal  4 місяці тому +9

      Sure! The pod clip by the mule compartment of the drop pod done at the end of stage 2 depends on a couple things: framerate and if you're host/client. There is an increased chance to clip if you're above 60 fps, the more the better. Clients also have a better chance to clip than hosts, but hosts still have a good chance if they're playing far above 60 fps. How to do it is pretty simple: get up to the spot shown at the end of stage 2 and begin spamming both jump and the direction into the pod at the same time. In this video's case, I spammed forward and jump and wiggled my camera from side to side a bit. The pod's damage reduction zone extends to that spot so you're mostly safe when doing this clip. I say "mostly" because jumping takes you out of that zone briefly, which can be painful on higher hazards. But the clip shouldn't take very long and if you're lucky you'll get it on the first jump.
      The pod clip at the end of stage 3 is as simple as being at the right height and place. Easiest way to do it I think is running up to the wall in the pod landing pit, jumping, and at the peak of the jump grapple the wall to stay put as scout. Once the pod lands, wait about a second or two then let go of the wall and start jumping towards the pod cabin. If you're too low the pod will push you down out of bounds and the game will teleport you back in bounds somewhere usually away from the pod. If you're too high the pod will push you up and away from the pod which is far less punishing than being too low, and it also means you can attempt the clip mentioned above. The position relative to where the pod is facing is also important. It's harder to clip through if you're under the pod gate even if at the right height, but it's easier under the back and sides of the pod.
      Other classes can do the clips too, but it's not often they'll make it in time to clip from beneath the pod. If they do, they can find the highest standable ground of the landing pit and time their jump so that the pod lands at the peak of their jump.
      Hope that helps!

      @@RyeorReal thank you. I often just do lobby hopping though. Interesting how the framerate affects this kind of interaction.. thank you for typing this out!
