Also there was a time when I did everything as usual but it didn't work, and the only visible difference I could come up is was molly standing sideways when I was depositing. I'm pretty sure there was a solo attempt where I didn't call Molly into the geode, but she came there with me and I called her out of the geode later and deposited ~100 meters away from the geode, but not at the surface and it worked. If you are interested, you could add me on steam and we can test this thing.
@@TheArtOfGriefing i have been testing this a bit since seeing this vid and doing the things you say in the above comment worked 100% of the time across all my tests(doing it above ground and depositing 5 then 3) except if you step away from molly or maybe wait while depositing it fails. also teleporting into the geode via fallling oob does work.

I don't like that he did this in a random lobby without telling anyone. If somebody joined my lobby, disappeared for half the mission, then finished it by exploit without telling anyone I'd be pretty pissed.

So, let's sum this up. Dude joined to LEVEL 4 greenbeard, who's propably was doing the assignment, which should teach him how to play this kind of mission, skipped all major parts, by just digging to the final objective, putting a big middle finger to all teamplay, then casually emerges with seeds, and closes the mission. You know, if you've done it in solo, or in another lvl 100+ greybeard session, or at least describe to the host, wth is you doing, it's would've be nothing, but you had to interfere in lvl 4 dude game with your shenanigans. You sir, are disgrace for the greybeards.

Can you tell me how at 9:42 you fell so easily right into the capsule's cabin? I don't have any particular problems climbing from above, but I can only get into the cockpit on a Scout, and even then it's a hassle.
As cool as this is, it kinda takes the fun away from the drillevator part of the mission where you defend yourselves on the way down. Though this is useful for speedruns I suppose

Driller can't clip into out of bounds to locate the geode and he can't efficiently get into the geode. The most optimal setup would be to do it with the driller friend tho, obviously.
yesteday I joined an engie who tried this, it didn't work though, we still had to drill all the way down. Did you do that before the oktoberfest update ? maybe they corrected it
Did you really just join a public lobby and skip the entire mission without consulting anybody about it??? A lobby of mostly greenbeards no less. Most people just want to enjoy the game more or less as intended...

He can't drill through it and I haven't tested c4, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work. Engie is required to find the geode regardless, so you can't solo this on driller reliably.
@@corvax8644 fatboy works well on morkite seeds if you wanna speed up the collection process a little (if you shoot the area near a seed it will pop out). It's bad for bedrock because you will have to wait for radiation to go away, which kinda defeats the purpose. I think the fastest method would be to do what I did in the video but also use rj250 for convenience and Berzerker perk to dig into the geode faster.
