Leclercs have always been powercreep, and it's just even worse now that Abrams are at 5s and for Leclercs we still have the "balance" excuse for not giving us a better reload. Almost 14 big bugreports have been open on Leclercs for years, and recently we've discovered that all the models are 1m too long for what they're supposed to be. Better shells, better mobility (hyperbar engine not taken into account in the game) better armor (SXXI should have internal titanium reinforcement, but it doesn't)... Many buffs are possible, but Gaijin prefers to buffer nations that don't need them. By the way, leclercs should also have spall liner, but Gaijin doesn't accept the idea... At least they've recently buffered the turret rotation speed (30°/s -> 40°/s ) but the list of corrections they need is still very long ^^.
Leclercs need so many buffs to finally be Meta, well france would need a full overhaul of it's tech tree, like some variants of the leclercs are missing, more planes, helis
Maybe we need a premium leclerc so as for the US teams we will have now a lower win rate. I'm pretty sure the US win rates sucks beacause of the M1KVT ^^
Maybe the 3 or 4 Leclerc prototypes to fill out a 10.0 to 10.3 line up, could add them all at once. Just fix the Leclercs we have and add some decent light tanks

At least the french crew now actually says "target destroyed" (cible détruite) instead of "target hit" (cible touchée) when you do in fact destroy an enemy tank.
IMO the lack of thermals really drags the Mirage 4000's CAS potential into the mud ... As soon as there are clouds or fog, you're pretty much done for It can receive the CLDP targeting pod, the targeting pod with thermals found on the Mirage 2000D. They're only gen 1 but it's better than nothing. A bug report was made about it so now we only have to pray Gaijin will implement it at some point, preferably before it's power crept ...
It made me so sad to find out that it didn't have thermals. I'm already not a huge fan of it in ARB compared to the 2000 and was hoping the better ground loadout would save it for me but alas, it didnt
If the Abrams can have the 5 second reload with M829A2 I don't see why the Leclerc can't get 5 second with OFL 120 F2, these tanks are good as they are right now but the buff is kind of necessary , I mean even just the 5 second reload would help since the F1 round performs really well.
The Leclerc model is wrong to begin with, the armor values are wrong, the model itself is 1meter too long We could have access to better shells but we don't, the engine is underperforming and not modeled correctly but Gaijin prefers adding Leopards 2A7s and premium MBTs rather than fixing what could be fixed
french main here and proud of it haha well about the leclercs, they are actually incorrect in there armor valve nad reload speed. it isn't the shell that's bad as 575mm is fuckin amazing, it's just hte reload is wrong as all hell and also makes it hard to deal with multi tanks unlike other tanks like type 10, or chally 2, or abrams with the 5 second reload. not to mention the armor is fucking wrong and the fact there's no spall liner EVEN THO FRENCH TANK SOLDIERS HAVE EVEN SAID THEY HAVE IT and it isn't classified so it's easy for gajin to add it. it's just the problem with those tank is the armor being wrong nad the reload. that's it. since the lecs have 10mm more armor then the T64 in war thunder....think on that for a second. also the best air missles that aren't radar, well 2nd best are magic 2s. so the fact you call them bad is just...no XD you are wrong on that, hella wrong. they are beaten by aim 9L, but only by a little bit.
The Super 530D paired with the excellent radar on 2000-5f is my favorite combination in game, doesn’t give a fuck about notching as it reacquires so fast and the tail aspect tracking can really catch players off guard

Mirage F1 never carried laser designation pods IIRC, so any target for the guided ammunition carried by a Mirage F1 had to be illuminated by another aircraft (such as a Jaguar or a Mirage 2000D)

That's extremely interesting. Unfortunately that likely means it will never receive guided ordinance unless they fudge things and give it the capability to guide things on its own. I doubt they ever add buddy lasing. Considering they already gave France other options for guided CAS, it's probably unlikely they would give it inaccurate capabilities either.

How did he third person lock that AA as his first kill? I can only lock from the pod, and it’s extremely slow to react, on the tank for a second for more for the lock to work
about the lack of thermal pod on the M4K : this is absolutely normal. Matter of fact, the M4K should not have a pod at all, since it never got any. The M4K was a project that was made in a time when the US didn't sell military jets to foreign countries. That's why a lot of countries got french jets at this time, lots of F1s, M2K ect, because they were basically the best jets you could get if you couldn't get american jets in the western world. Once the F-15 entered service, there was a will to get an equivalent jet, but of course nobody could buy from the americans. That's the sole purpose of the M4K: fill the shoes that the F-15 left empty. Jet was built, proved to be super good, at least on par with the F-15, several countries were interested, aaand... change of presidency in the US (I think that was when Reagan was elected?), which resumed the export of military jets, including the F-15 so the countries that were interested in the M4K just... bought F-15s. There was only one M4K built which did a lot of airshows to show the french military tech to the world and attract buyers, until the jet was retired in a museum. The M4K is really much the exact same story as the AMX-40. Better vehicles than what France used, developped by France for the export market which wouldn't see any actual service, but considerably helped when it came to the next generation of vehicles. For the AMX-40, lots of tech that went into the sights and the gun went into the Leclerc. For the M4K, well... Just a quick look at it is enough to see that it was used as a base for the Rafale, which in a nutshell is a M4K with larger canards and the air intake under the plane rather than on the sides (I'm really simplifying here, but that's the gist of it). By the way, the prefered aircraft for ground support for the french military was the Mirage F1 and Super Etendard when it came to the navy. Both of those aircrafts were equipped with lazer guided ordonance, but it's not yet in War Thunder... those have been in the game for a while I think it's time we get our proper CAS planes instead of repurposed air superiority aircrafts like the M2K and M4K, hm?

The Leclerc was a good tank when it got out but now it's not good : You can be penetrated from the front by every Mbt dart , The round it fires is one of the least penetrating at hes tier , Now almost every tank reloads faster or at the same speed , And don't forget the fuel tanks that love to explode and send you back to the hangar , to improve it Gaijin should bump it's reload rate to 5 seconds and give it a LWS (like in real life for both) and should give it the F2 , it will make it a little more bareable , and don't even make me start on the Spall-Liners b*llsh*t...

I just wanted to ask how to do you generally feel about the french tank line because i kinda like their looks and all and the leclercs for me personally, i love the design, but i am confused between france and sweden. I am not the type to play the meta. So would you suggest the french line?
@@AnoshPaul-pn9je i would recommend it and i do find it enjoyable, but while i was griding it there were a few parts of the tree that were absolutely miserable to get through. However, i do think that generally there are good and unique vehicles through most of the French tree. I have not played Sweden, but i have heard that it is very fun and meta, and they also appear to have unique vehicles. As for premiums i think the Swedish ones are better in general. I think Sweden would be a better pick at the moment to grind, but since im a bit of a Francophile i would still recommend France. Also, i believe France has more potential to grow as a tree in the future.
Honestly leopards are way too strong, they all get spall liners and have the buggiest front armor to pen, if you try to go one on one with a leopard he will kill u in one shot but u cannot do the same to him, u almost always lose

The Leclerc have been sucking for a long time now, they've got nothing going for them. Armor is laughably bad, it's very easy to one shot if you hit it anywhere due the closeness of the crew & super easy to detonate fuel tanks, its best round has the worst pen of top tier tanks, its RoF can either be matched or beaten by most tanks and its mobility is absolutely nothing special. It's not even a good "jack of all trades" vehicle. Honestly, it's about as survivable as a Type 10 (which has its own sets of issues when it comes to how its armor is modeled) while having none of its advantages, there's just no reason to pick the Leclerc over the Type 10. Top tier balance is such a mess.

France at top tier sucks (French Main here). Mirage 4000 without thermals and look down all aspect radar -- Pantsir is near impossible to avoid. All Mirages have fewer missiles than their opponents + radar loses locking ALL THE TIME. Leclercs without armor. Nerf to the Ito90M makes it impossible to hit anything else than stationary helicopters. Overall atrocious grind... BURN GAIJIN TO THE GROUND !
the problem with USA (not just top tier) is that as a whole the vehicles are sub par. Its not because of the premium influx. Yes it made the winrate drop even more but it was already bad. New players arent the reason why USA sucks, its the shit vehicles. We have the 2nd worst MBT in the game and are expected to constantly fight the 3 most handheld nations in the game at once and win. USA needs help. Alot of it is simple BR fixes across the board but at top tier its more than that. When you select USA you basically chose to lose no matter the BR most of the time, Its just worse at top tier. Play for personal perfomance (good luck in a Shitbrams) stop caring about winning, you shouldve learned to give up on that way before you got to top tier if you play USA.

i play a lot of nations at top tier and i must say that the USA players are just trash. I had multiple games where me and my friends were the onlyones with atleast 1 kill. so yea its not the tanks its mainly the bad USA players. If you want decent US players go to rusian servers

Leclerc could have a dm 63 equivalent with the ofle 120 f2 it's reload could be put at 5 sec too

I’ve managed to have success in the leclercs when I play them but I don’t have any other nations top tier tanks so I don’t have anything to compare it to
I just wanted to ask how to do you generally feel about the french tank line because i kinda like their looks and all and the leclercs for me personally, i love the design, but i am confused between france and sweden. I am not the type to play the meta. So would you suggest the french line?
@@AnoshPaul-pn9je i would recommend it and i do find it enjoyable, but while i was griding it there were a few parts of the tree that were absolutely miserable to get through. However, i do think that generally there are good and unique vehicles through most of the French tree. I have not played Sweden, but i have heard that it is very fun and meta, and they also appear to have unique vehicles. As for premiums i think the Swedish ones are better in general. I think Sweden would be a better pick at the moment to grind, but since im a bit of a Francophile i would still recommend France. Also, i believe France has more potential to grow as a tree in the future.

Honestly leopards are way too strong, they all get spall liners and have the buggiest front armor to pen, if you try to go one on one with a leopard he will kill u in one shot but u cannot do the same to him, u almost always lose

The Leclerc have been sucking for a long time now, they've got nothing going for them. Armor is laughably bad, it's very easy to one shot if you hit it anywhere due the closeness of the crew & super easy to detonate fuel tanks, its best round has the worst pen of top tier tanks, its RoF can either be matched or beaten by most tanks and its mobility is absolutely nothing special.
It's not even a good "jack of all trades" vehicle.
Honestly, it's about as survivable as a Type 10 (which has its own sets of issues when it comes to how its armor is modeled) while having none of its advantages, there's just no reason to pick the Leclerc over the Type 10.
Top tier balance is such a mess.

Mirage 4000 without thermals and look down all aspect radar -- Pantsir is near impossible to avoid.
All Mirages have fewer missiles than their opponents + radar loses locking ALL THE TIME.
Leclercs without armor.
Nerf to the Ito90M makes it impossible to hit anything else than stationary helicopters.

the problem with USA (not just top tier) is that as a whole the vehicles are sub par. Its not because of the premium influx. Yes it made the winrate drop even more but it was already bad. New players arent the reason why USA sucks, its the shit vehicles. We have the 2nd worst MBT in the game and are expected to constantly fight the 3 most handheld nations in the game at once and win. USA needs help. Alot of it is simple BR fixes across the board but at top tier its more than that.
When you select USA you basically chose to lose no matter the BR most of the time, Its just worse at top tier. Play for personal perfomance (good luck in a Shitbrams) stop caring about winning, you shouldve learned to give up on that way before you got to top tier if you play USA.

i play a lot of nations at top tier and i must say that the USA players are just trash. I had multiple games where me and my friends were the onlyones with atleast 1 kill. so yea its not the tanks its mainly the bad USA players. If you want decent US players go to rusian servers
The Russian players are also bad but they can count on their tanks which make it possible to make more mistakes.

Yes they are, all three major nations players absolutely suck, point of fact German players up till 7.0 were so bad I couldn't be bother playing Germany anymore. Russia from 9.0 - 10.0 is atrocious and has been for years.
The 1 death leavers come from the premium and squad players, all the good US players left ages ago, this is why there have currently been more battles played by France then the US i.e. everyone is leaving the US for other nations.
