- Roughly in chronological order, the first one was made February 2016,, and all of them were made either using Photoshop, drawing frames using simply the layer system and then converting the PSD. file to a gif using a website,, or FireAlpaca, which makes it a bit more convenient.

For the dragon flying anims, try taking into account the force the downward stroke is creating, and have the dragon's body bend up a little, and maybe studying the way some herons and storks fly (dem long necks! :D)
For the wolves, you are incredible in you knowledge of anatomy! If it doesn't disrupt your style, try lengthening and lowering the neck a bit, and adding a bit of bounce and impact when they hit the ground.

Ahh I'd say Lineart is simply cleaned up sketches (no construction lines, minimal stray/wobbly lines (unless that's part of your style) maybe varying linethickness depending of where shadow and light is, or to accentuate the outlines...)
Good clean lineart comes from being comfortable with doing dem lines,, (either being more confident in your art style, or having become familiar with the medium you're using) there isn't much secret stuff to it x: I've been drawing digitally for 6 years now, starting off with pieces like:

And it's really just something that will improve over time, if you keep drawing. You could do specific exercices to improve your linework (there are how-to videos about that)
But I didn't do focused studies to improve anatomy, I didn't do specific exercices to improve my lines, I didn't draw specific things to practice them,, I didnt have the discipline for that. What I did focus on improving, is the frequency of me being productive. I just worked on being more comfortable with drawing more often,, which in turn made me improve how much time I took to finish something (the faster it's done, the less energy it takes, the more often I would be fit to draw again)
If you can draw twice a week, you'll have the chance to practice 2 times a week. If you draw 4 times a week, that will already have doubled the speed of which you improve,, you see? :0
@@Remarin Wowie your so chill! Truly an artist who can take constructive criticism. Most artist now are so easily offended. While I do understand they have pride over their work, it's also good to remember you can do better. Criticism doesn't mean your bad, it means you are good enough at art to grow and be better than you are now.
@@owlwhisker0w031 the thing is, once someone gave my constructive criticism but in a very rude way, thats why I have gotten scared to post art or scared to get constructive criticism. (Ofc, that didnt stop me, but it did make me less active for a while) Also getting constructive criticism doesnt mean ur gonna get better in a day, have u seen blackie sootfur? I'd rather improve on my own, and when I have gotten to a stage where I dont know/see what to imrpove on, I'd gladly take constructive criticism. (Plus people arent rude if ur good at drawing) We aren't sensitive, it's just that some people are a lil rude.

Can I just give some critism, that 2nd flying animation, it looks rlly cool, and it would be cooler if when the wings went downwards, the body went up fast, then when the wings went upwards, the body drops a little
Like, basically in a vertical plane, the wings and body are opposite each other
With those tries at flying animations, I was trying to mix in that seemingly effortless flying/hovering that birds do,, but I guess for that, the creature would need to have nearly no mass/really light bones. I didn't want to make the body drop too much, since in my eyes that might make it look like it's not that good at it?? But again, I'll have to next time actually look at reference if I'm going to go for bird-like flight.
I searched for some slowmotion stuff, and I've immediately found a blaring big difference that I could've incorporated:

The body would be upright, while the upstroke looks nearly horizontal if I'm going to try and emulate that kind of take-off x:

Do you go to some drawing school?
I did take art classes for 3 years and am now currently studying in my second semester of animation (so the stuff featured in the video was before that) but still I've gained a majority of my technical skills from drawing in my own free time since 2008 or so
