Half of the reason I bought a FiveseveN was to piss of Glock guys. Never imagined I’d like it as much as I do. It’s an excellent pistol, insanely light.
Nothing like the 22mag. This is the real deal. High velocity cutting edge. Light and super high power. If you can buy one get it. It might someday not be available the way things go.
Boy, in Louisiana, we don't have any of those problems with which gun you carry for defense. We have all laws that protect the person being attacked, not the criminals. Open carry needs no permit, while the CCW only needs a 5 hour coarse & $125.00 for 5 years. We also have "The Burgler Law" which allows you to shoot and kill anyone who illegally enters your home after dark. No Court would question either the caliber of gun or the power of the round. I feel sorry for all of you all in State that are not pro-gun States. We have a Bar Room and a Gun Store on every second corner. Move to the Confederacy.
Yeah but the rest of Louisiana is horrible. Don’t move to a pro gun state simply for the guns...yeah you’ll have all the guns you want but you’ll still be miserable
Well, "Big Boss" (no relation to Springsteen) most of the South or The Confederacy, as we call it, has very liberal gun laws, and all in fact, share the respect for the other State's CCW permits. It is only in New England, and California, and that "Jungle" called Chicago, that post signs on their Interstate highways that possession of a hand gun is a crime punishable by one year in prison. Since, I am 65, and have collected guns all of my life, why or how could I move to an anti-gun State? All joking aside, I really hate the North, and their liberal Yankee ideas, and wish that you would set us free.
right, it's almost like that's just saying it's better ammo. the awesome double standard they have is that they wouldn't want you to use warning shots or shoot to injure.... there will never be any winning against that crowd
It’s something we all have in common but never talk about whether from movies or games, the 5,7 is kind of big and awkward though a more compact version seem more practical
New gun alert. My brother just bought a Springfield MDX 10 mm in the 5.25 inch barrel. Two thumbs up, a holiday must have. Sure, I have the Colt Delta Elite 10 mm, but I will not carry it because I want to keep it in prefect shape. The MDX is a polymer pistol with three 15 round magazines. With his special offer, he got three extra mags and a carry case FREE. It was under $750, and I would not hesitate to carry it in the Summer and sweat on it.
Yeah cuz headshots are easier than body shots 🙄 get real man in a real situation you’re going for body shots and if they have armor and you don’t chances are they are gunna pump more than one round into your chest before you get the chance at a headshot.
Green tip isn't designated AP or else it would b hard as hell to acquire as an average citizen. On top of that it is not homogeneous meaning that steel core isn't always dead center inside that bullet which means less accurate. At most it designated P being penetrator not AP which is armor piercing

I appreciate the insight and personal opinions on this firearm. I’ve been debating it’s use and efficacy, especially regarding its ammunition and it’s regulation and availability. Thanks
I just bought this as my first double stack. Not disappointed. I was expecting it to feel like a BB gun the way people talk about it but it is definitely a quality gun ! And like you said about ammo scarcity people hype that up a lot . following the philosophy of buying a couple boxes every paycheck and pro mags. Thank you for your incite on the gun ,Sean!
I shot that Glock 10mm last year and LOVED IT! I'm not a huge Glock fan. They are very nice guns but they rub blisters on my right middle finger under the trigger guard. I've filed more of them than I care. But that 10mm was massive and it was fun to shoot. Might get me one. The FN is a blast to shoot too. It is light and it took a while to realize this is NOT a .22. It's so light. But if you lock your grip you feel like you are dry firing. It was still a blast to shoot. It's on my list too. Great video. I love those guns with "issues" that most people don't want.
Your video is enjoyable to watch and I found it informative too. I really want to add a 5.7 to my collection. Someday. Why? Because they're cool and why the hell not? Thanks for taking the time to make and elevate your video.
I got one last week have been a CC since 1994 when I got of the USMC I have shot a lot and my normal go to for carry is a glock 30 . Picked up one of these last week and ....wait for it......wait for it...OMG love it! Stupid groupings ! 25 50 100 yards our generally I don’t go that far out with a pistol but lol it shoots so flat . Worth the money
noticed it a lot too. I understand the need but it just comes through way too much and a lot of people will be very put off by the noise. really anyone doing a lot of videos should get a decent condenser mic and a noise gate to eliminate unwanted sounds and still get clear audio
Hey Sean just started watching your vids! Liken your arsenal! Keep up the good work! I didn't know anything about this pistol but watching this vid I'm a fan now! I see you threw in the glock 20!🙋♂️ I just came from the range shooting my glock 20 and 29! I'm like you... you can't go wrong with 10mm. You gotta get the 29 now!
one thing that surprised me about the five seven. Up in the mountains, shooting at a corrugated pipe, that washed out of a Logging Road. My five seven with the 40 grain V-Max round, was punching holes in that at least 1/8 thick Steel. Now my 10 mm, with cheap Target ammo, that we all know is loaded to .40 spec was just making dents.
Five seven ammo was designed to be good at piercing armour. They initially wanted a smg capable of penetration similar to rifles and thus the P90 was born, along with the USG.
Dude..."I have long enough fingers to go the finger guard on any gun" and you pull out the Desert Eagle I fell out of my chair laughing hahaha. That was great!
I love my FiveseveN and it's currently my default carry gun because it's light, holds a lot of shots, and because I have stockpiled several thousand rounds of "uploads" where I pulled the bullets from factory AE5728A and created an upload running around 300 fps faster. I will say though, that over the last year I've been doing a lot of R&D on the .22 TCM and my derived version the 5.56x24 and am quickly moving toward it as the "better" carry gun. A Glock 19 loaded with .22 TCM9R or 5.56x24 weighs almost the same as the FiveseveN, but is half the size, and has better ergonomics. The G19 also holds 16 rounds in a much smaller footprint. Even a G17 is smaller than the FsN and holds only 3 fewer rounds. For those so inclined, 33 round magazines are available as well. The .22TCM case is formed from the .223 case, and the 5.56x24 case is reformed from the TCM case, but better for the shorter 9mm action length than the odd-ball .22TCM9R. Just today I was out testing 5.56x24 loads in my G19 and my CZ-75B 5.56x24 conversion, and took a few moments to shoot some 5.7 from my FsN. As much as I do enjoy the FsN, the other pistols are better for fast shooting, and the CZ75 is a VERY nice foundation for conversion to .22 TCM9R/5.56x24! The CZ holds a solid 17+1 and one can find 19 round mags with little effort. While not as popular in the U.S. as the 1911, the CZ75 is a VERY good platform...all steel, with excellent ergonomics, DA/SA with thumb safety. The reverse rail slide results in a rather lightweight slide which is perfect for the TCM/5.56x24! Whereas FN won't sell brass, nor does anyone else make new brass, Armscor does sell TCM brass, and if that became unavailable it can be formed from .223 so one can ALWAYS feed a .22 TCM/5.56x24. The 5.56x24 also takes standard .224" short-nose bullets which are widely available for reasonable cost. For those living in other States, buying up a stock of .22TCM9R is an option because it's not that expensive...more than 9mm, but then, the round is better....it's all the things the 5.7x28 was/is supposed to be, with a slight edge in performance.
I held the 5.7 at Cabalas. It felt like a toy, i have seen the damage the little rounds can cause. But i can't see paying 1500 on it.. But i can't understand why someone would want to carry one. I just watched this whole video and listened to everything you said. Good info.
As an early 90s born kiddo, i grew up playing all of the splinter cell games. I always dreamed of having a Five-seveN. I made my dad take me to gun shows, just to see if i could see one in real life. Probably held my first one in 2003. I was hooked, and now i have owned almost every gun that was my favorite in games even my sacred mk23, everything except for the five-seven, ps90 and Scar 17s. The reason im watching this vid.. i just won a two tone mk2 five-seven on gb for $850! Waiting for it to get to my ffl, any suggestions on an iwb holster?
I’m a pretty small guy. While the Five-SeveN is a little difficult to conceal, the ease of the recoil is nice and not uncomfortable. And I feel you with wanting the P90 due to video games. I’ve wanted an F2000 since I played the first Splinter Cell ages ago.
Well it's been awhile since you put out this vid, how do you feel about this firearm now ? I carry the Glock 32 as of now,and put the 9mm barrel in for practice, then finish off with a handful of 357.
1:25 Why would I want one? First, and foremost, because it IS an FN weapon. Because it is an FN, many of the possible doubts simply evaporate. It WILL do what it is intended to do. Period. 4:20 It is now 2022, and the 5,7 has matured, a rival 57 has emerged to cover the lower cost middle market bracket, and FN ammo is now (in the US) much more accessible and affordable ($16 per box of 50 is reported "normal"). Ammo made by other companies is now often better, and properly lubricated, like the FN ammo. 8:14 "I don't feel better armed ..." On the other hand you clearly don't less well-armed either? You didn't say, but I'm assuming! 16:08 "Never gonna lose money on it!" Correct! In over 50 years I've never lost money on selling an FN! They will sell for significantly more than whatever you pay for it. Even more so with the resurgence in the market for 5,7. In the recent ammo shortage which calibres suffered the most? .22LR, .38 Spl/.357 magnum, 7,62 x 39, even 9mm - all the ammo they tell you will be widely available after SHTF! 5,7mm? No problem at all - nothing! Makes you think eh? 19:20 I agree with you - for different reasons. 24:00 Now that it is some years down the road, what would you opinion NOW be? I'd love to hear an update on this video, from its originator, because you have raised some issues that nobody else has and I would really like to know. I value your perspective. Unfortunately, I live in a country where owning ANY handgun of any kind is strictly prohibited, but I still have an interest born out of 50 years of owning and using firearms. So, my interest is not at a practical level, hence why I value the perspective brought by others, to add to my theoretical knowledge. Thanks for an informative video. BTW, do you still carry the Five seveN occasionally?
Great gun, especially with the right ammo. People who put this gun down for some reason don't remember Ft. Hood. One concern in using this weapon indoors is the punishing level of sound.
Love this content. Not drawing too strong of correlations, but this is reminiscent of some TNP stuff. Anyways, thanks for your contribution to the field.
I just want to say that I really appreciate the way that you respectfully talk about the victims and casualties referenced in your video. Tat's aside (lol b/c I'm jk), you are a class act.
'Nothing hateful on this end. And, I get what you are saying. Division in our nation caused the greatest Civil War I know of. You might catch me being sarcastic many times, but this is not one of those, brother. I honestly appreciate that you respect the victims and hold the shooter responsible for his/her actions.
I would use the 5.7 just because of the recoil, the round, and the amount of ammo standard mags hold; I don’t train enough to have good spot on recoil with a compact .45 or 9mm; the recoil on the 5.7 I can put shots on target when I’m under pressure.
Hey, Thanks for the info in all of your vids! For your 10mm, check out underwood 155gr offerings next time you need to pick up some more ammo. They are the hottest loads I've ever used with my G20 and there a ton of fun to shoot.
I carry this. i like it. little bulky and harder to conceal in the summer, cause it gets hot in ohio. But i like carrying it. Also, the ammo capacity is a seller.
Not to mention if you can afford it you can get better results and more applications out of the five seven+p/s90 combo. Since even "pistol" rifles are gimmicky at best since you now lost the best part of a rifle for the ability to hide it.
Bro I think you said it right the first by saying Brady Bunch they’re comic relief. I shoot and carry various firearms and I get to shoot many other guns that aren’t mine. I’ve been interested in getting trigger time on the 5.7 I like your reviews and the people don’t get you no biggee. Your an enthusiast as anyone watching should be. The 5.7 does have a higher round count than my HK VP9 however side by side the VP feels more comfortable in a in the pant holster which is mostly what I do. In March I’ll a FNX .45 15 rounder after which if the quality is what it should be I could go for a 5.7. Please get a follow up video on your impressions either USPSA, tactical class, and how the 5.7 would perform. Every gun I have I stress them and myself with drill after drill either for competition or for the tactical classes I take. If I’m rambling I apologize I’ve been up since 04:00 busy at Department and just got off shift. Keep up your thorough assessments and don’t drop to their levels you’re better than that.
@@jonross377 Yeah I'm frequently taken aback by the nonsense criticisms of youtubers that I see posted on forums and comment sections. Anyone with a modicum of talent and interest that spends that much time doing something will have above avg ability at doing it. Not sure why everyone is so unreasonable but it's kinda freakish.

Gotta get that extended magazine, nothing better then a thirty rounder edc, love the video!
As an early 90s born kiddo, i grew up playing all of the splinter cell games. I always dreamed of having a
Five-seveN.
Caption literally
Just got my five seven for $1099 and am so glad to finally own one. After shooting my local range's rental 5.7, I had to have it.
Where did you get it for that price?

Great gun, especially with the right ammo. People who put this gun down for some reason don't remember Ft. Hood.
One concern in using this weapon indoors is the punishing level of sound.
In Gratitude I Am as a nigga from killeen I remember
Because it doesn't fit narratives, handgun and non-white shooter who was radicalized by Islam.
This is a great Video bro🔥
I like that the P90 and PS90 design came from the TV series stargate SG1. Also guns and gadgets has a promo to get the FN5.7 for under $1200
Are you really this dumb?....FN DID NOT refer to a TV show for their design....
Are people really this stupid?
Exactly why I bought one..it’s a rifle cartridge in a handgun,holds 20 & is a FN
That's why I want one too
Great informative video!
I've carried a Five-Seven since 2009 and love it for the same reasons. Ironically the Glock 20 is my bed side weapon for about as long too.
This gun and the cz shadow 2 and the glock 36 my favorite.
I agree but the czp10 series takes it over glock for 9m striker fired for me
Do they sell or have a holster for FiveseveN with the light/laser combo and can you get one?
“I usually go to the front of the trigger guard on any gun” *whips out deagle* “ANY gun”
Hit this comment exactly when he did that
This makes me want a 10mm
Get one. You wont be disappointed. It's got plenty enough knockdown power
Love the chat. Great video
I would use the 5.7 just because of the recoil, the round, and the amount of ammo standard mags hold; I don’t train enough to have good spot on recoil with a compact .45 or 9mm; the recoil on the 5.7 I can put shots on target when I’m under pressure.
SS198LF was released well after the Brady Bunch cried a river over the gun. They cried about SS192 which FN replaced with SS195LF and now SS198LF
I'm pretty new but Sean is pretty intelligent. It's refreshing!
Man I love your videos when you started busting out the rounds I was dying 🤣🤣🤣
Hey, Thanks for the info in all of your vids! For your 10mm, check out underwood 155gr offerings next time you need to pick up some more ammo. They are the hottest loads I've ever used with my G20 and there a ton of fun to shoot.
I carry this. i like it. little bulky and harder to conceal in the summer, cause it gets hot in ohio. But i like carrying it. Also, the ammo capacity is a seller.
How is a glock 20 excessive use of force when a 12 gauge magnum slug exists?
FN probably my favorite gun
Great video greetings from Turkey :)
Trying to decide between the five seven And the 509 tactical 😩 I will end up with both soon enough
Thanks for the response do you know if any online dealers do deals for Christmas?
You have a MK2 (front slide serrations and black controls) I just put a USG model on layaway.
I like .50 caliber guns ! Absolutely agree with the “over kill”
Brother you have all the best guns. Great taste. Just picked up the 509 tactical. 5.7 is next
I have both as well.
thoughts on picking up one of the new ruger 5-7 ?
Great video my guy
Never knew that fact about Fort Hood massacre. That proves this guns lethality.
Not to mention if you can afford it you can get better results and more applications out of the five seven+p/s90 combo. Since even "pistol" rifles are gimmicky at best since you now lost the best part of a rifle for the ability to hide it.
This guy is a gun junkie, love him 👍😈
This is my first time seeing anyone hold one. That thing is much bigger than I thought
I carry my 10mm as secondary with me when I’m in a “Public enclosed area” specially when I’m with my family, taken the current events in this country
Excellent points.
The chamber indicator is the best. A simple raised dimple. Elsewhere, you get lawyer flag (i.e. M&P) or visual only.
Keep up your thorough assessments and don’t drop to their levels you’re better than that.
thumbs up..learned alot, thanks..
I live in a open carry state, no issues, as far as what I carry got my defense, it is what I am comfortable with.
I think your accuracy with that was pretty damn good. For that to be considered bad you must stack them through the same hole with your other pistols!
Thats what I said lol. Did you see the guys up top saying shit about his comments? They likely pretend they can shoot as well as this guy.
@@jonross377 Yeah I'm frequently taken aback by the nonsense criticisms of youtubers that I see posted on forums and comment sections. If I remember right, Sean said that the shooting range is part of his daily routine. Anyone with a modicum of talent and interest that spends that much time doing something will have above avg ability at doing it. Not sure why everyone is so unreasonable but it's kinda freakish.
