There's a verse in the Bible, John 15:13, "Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" so as soon as Sir Pentious died, I was like "Holy crap, he's gonna get into Heaven!"
That was the first thing that came into my mind when I saw him redeemed. That is actually one of my favorite verses so I was hyped that it was applied to this.
Agreed. He had that love to lay down his life for his friends. When great deeds are remembered in that Hell, one name will stand above all others: "Our friend, Sir Pentious the Snake".
That war was absolutely crazy. Especially when Charlie started using her true powers and Lucifer showed up. I'm proud of Sir Pentious. His sacrifice will never be forgotten. And he proved Charlie right, that a soul CAN be redeemed into Heaven.
@@SageVaughnreally? That’s interesting cause when they are singing and manifesting things and altering reality that’s also them using their powers. Which they do it on a scale a lot higher than happens in helluva boss
The fact that Alastor held his own against someone who technically is just as powerful as Lilith is crazy. It showed how good and experienced in combat he really was. I bet he would have lasted a lot longer against Adam if he didn’t get cocky.
I don't know if I'd go that far. Adam is powerful, yeah, but that's by sinner/winner standards. The guy is still just human, He's pretty much the "Alastor" of heaven. Lilith is a full blown demon now and is only second behind Lucifer, the same guy who absolutely waffle-stomped Adam in to the dirt with _very_ little effort.
For me, the way Vivizie did to show how absurd Adam is ,was brilliant, because putting him to defeat Alastor was certainly much more impactful than Charlie, for example.(this just shows how absurd Alastor is in terms of charisma, you are much more shocked seeing him lose to Adam than Charlie, and the funniest Charlie is stronger than him, and even so Alastor's defeat is much more impactful)
Adam reminding everyone that as goofy as his frat boy attitude can look, there's a reason the exterminations were unopposed for generations. This really gives an idea of power scaling. Alastor barely held his own against Adam and Lucifer just played with Adam like he was a ragdoll.
@anitaremenarova6662 Indeed. Whats with people acting like Alaster did anything? Right when Adam used a bit of Magic Alaster was on his ass. Not even close
Oh Alastor will turn on them at some point, I believe it. That being said y'all, it would be Charlie's ultimate test to redeem a guy like Alastor, I think.
A lot of new fans are confused why alastor was defeated and Lucifer didn't even need to use 10 percent of his power to destroy Adam.... The reason is Alastor is just an overlord of hell, and ranks way below in the hierarchy as compared to Hell's royalty, sins and Charlie and Lucifer. And when it comes to angels, Alastor doesn't even stand a chance. Whereas, Lucifer, even though he's a fallen angel, he still overpowers Adam in a heartbeat, (just see what a single punch did to him) , because Lucifer was still a really high ranking angel , you can see it in the wings too. Adam and the exorcists have only a pair, whereas Lucifer and the seraphims have 3 pairs. At the end of the day, it was between a human soul who became an angel, and a really powerful (fallen) angel. Also, y'all should check out helluva boss
Lmfao at the people actually confused by it. Alastor is capable of terrorising fellow sinners, not Hell's royal family, upper tier angels, or the Sins. Not even close and nothing ever suggested that.
I don't think it's just that. If you listen closely to what Alastor is singing at the end, it's very possible that the deal he is part of is hindering or limiting his full power
@@Ashurman666 I listened, and nope, the only thing definite is that he wants to be out of that deal he's locked in. He may be limited in his actions but there is nothing to suggest he was weakened by it. In fact, one of the most popular theories is that the whole point of the deal he made was to gain power, hence why he was so strong right from the start.
All of the alastor fans...chilll...we love him too, and without him hazbin hotel wouldn't be as interesting...but whether he was being held back or not, canonically, he's not at all as powerful as charlie or lucifer (yet, not saying he won't be in the future), Plus, I loved that Adam was able to defeat Alastor with ease, cuz itll build character.. Alastor always wants to be the most powerful person in the room, and this has given him perspective, he had never been challenged before...he might be the most powerful overlord, but he's still no match for heaven or demon royalty yet...and that's going to make for an interesting story, cuz we don't know what he'll do next.
Exactly! The fact that he was able to hold up a fight at all shows that alastor is CRAZY powerful for an overlord, but still has many more powerful than him. However, he seems to VERY much want to change that.
The man kisses Cherri, gets blipped out of existence and just ascends to heaven. .. I mean we all knew sir pentious was the absolute goat. And Niffty killing Adam is the best turn around I've ever seen. Also Roxy called it " it ain't over yet"
So many things happening in this episode. Charlie and Vaggie’s kiss The Battle at the Hazbin Hotel Alastor vs Adam Pentious’ sacrifice Pentious and Cherri Bomb Charlie’s demonic form Lute getting DISARMED Lucifer roasting Adam Nifty killing Adam The finale song Pentious’ ascension to Heaven and Sera and Emily’s reactions And finally… Lilith’s reveal appearance. Can’t wait for Season 2. VivziePop has reached peak with this fantastic series!
Also my headcanon for why Lucifer showed up at the end: Because for most of the time , Adam and the exorcists were attacking sinners, Lucifer couldn't butt in into the situation, because that was heaven's orders, but when Adam went directly for Charlie, his daughter, and a hellborn, he had every right to protect her, because that wasn't part of the Sera's deal.
"You lack discipline, control and worse? You're sssloooppyy." Gives total Death Wolf vibes from The Last Wish. All we needed was Adam to say "Get up. Get. TF. UP." Absolutely LOVED seeing everyone go full force here. And Alastor's song was so intriguing..sooo many questions surrounding the Radio Demon.
Everyone talking about Sir Pentious's redemption but no one talking about Alastor ALMOST die! I really enjoy how disgusted his eyes looked at the mere thought of almost dying in a way that would look like he was altruistically helping his friends. The voice actor and animators really nailed it, since we can see the Alastor's despair and keeping that aura of mystery that surrounds him since the pilot.
Cause Adam was the first man. Either he's just gods favorite and would've went to heaven no matter what or it's because in the beginning times of earth, when there were only a handful of people, there were maybe no ground rules set for how you need to behave to go to heaven. Following present rules, he clearly would went to hell if he died now. I'm also wondering if the show will ever touch Cain and Abel, cause I wonder where either of them went. I don't know about Lute. We still don't know, if the exorcist-angels are human souls that have arisen in ranks, if it's just like a job for them or if exorcist are born/created in heaven.
Maybe Adam was actually a good person when he first entered heaven but after thousands of years of praise, worship and perfect paradise he became the man he is today
The first one banished from Heaven was an angel that took the form of a snake. Fitting that the first one redeemed back from Hell was a snake that gained the form of an angel.
@tomaslievre8119 Indeed, I loved that symbolism. Especially when you remember that Pentious was the first "villain" of the series (facing Cherri Bomb and Angel Dust, and then Alastor), and he was known as a technological inventor (just like the serpent giving the fruit of knowledge). All the way to becoming the hotel's first redeemed soul. I hope we see at least a little bit of Pentious' time in getting settled into heaven, with some of the other residents questioning how he got there while Emily welcomes him and shows him around the realm.
Emily: So Sir Pentious. How are you enjoying heaven? Sir Pentious: I hate it here. Everyone's too nice and it's freaking me out. Also I still don't want to live without my egg bois. Send me back to hell please. Sera: No. As odd as this situation is, you are an angel now and thus a soul we have to protect. *Sir Pentious hands her a pear* Sir Pentious: How about now? Sera: What? Is this your idea of a bribe? Why would a pear change my mind? Sir Pentious: I'm a snake giving out fruit. Isn't that how Lucifer got away from you people? Sera:...
As to why Sir Pentious went to Heaven is probably because of Charlie's grandfather, who by ep 6 heard the meeting and thus allowed Hazbin Hotel to redeem sinners
Yeah, why would Sir Pentious manifest among Sera and Emily, seems like someone intentionally wanted them to see the redeemed soul first. Maybe God just works outside of things in subtle ways, as in he is not physically present but still is present.
Yeah, I think the rule is that they not only have to change their ways, but also have to die in Hell as a good person in order to be able to enter Heaven. Which is what we saw with Sir Pentious.
@@MicoB1022 It could also be because he was at peace with himself and believed he deserved to go to heaven is what got him there. That is the only reason why someone like Adam could have been allowed in the first place.
we dont actually have any indication that a god exists in hazbin adam and lilith are made by angels not god lucifer was cast out by angels no angel refer to a god at all there's not a single reference to god existing beyond people using it as a curse(i would actually have to check that one too) and maybe SAINT peter being a thing but that a saint existing isn't really a sign of a deity, just that a religion exists
Will you 2 review the youtube series Helluva Boss next? Starts slow compared to Hasbin Hotel as the creator was just getting started plus can skip the pilot this time as it's non-canon.
It's always nice to see people join the Sir Pentious fan club, especially because it makes his "death" hit that much harder (even if I feel like the moment passed way to quick and it didn't really register that much). If anybody deserves to go to heaven, the it's my little awkward snake boy!
I absolutely love that Adam was killed by Nifty after getting ground and pounded by Lucifer. I do wish that we actually got to see Charlie REALLY lose it and wreck everyone’s shit, it was way too brief though. But I’m super happy Sir Pentious got into heaven. GIVE US SEASON 2 ASAP!!!
I feel like Charlie definitely has another form she'll unlock before the series ends. This transformation feels mostly demonic, but she's also the child of an angel. If nothing else her final form should have wings of some kind.
Really interested about Lilith's situation. With the way Charlie described her, she definitely didn't seem like the person to just up and switch sides without a good reason. Only one I can think of is that she lost faith in Hell.
A big clue was in the final episode. When Lucifer was fighting Adam, he alluded to having relations with BOTH of his wives. Since the idea of Lilith is of the female that doesn't submit to men, Lucifer getting it on with Eve is what could have caused the separation, I can't imagine Lilith being ok with that.
@@joshuachapman2065I thought that was referring to the Apple™ Luci offered Eve, he was just phrasing it weird to annoy Adam. Or at least, i hope thats it. 🙁
@@KatieLHall-fy1hw OMG could you imagine? Like in season 2 it's knocking on the door and it's f*cking Adam asking if he could check in to work on his redemption? And Charlie would want to just send him off, but couldn't because of her principles and Adam's just crashing down there and annoying everyone with his presence. It would be so hilarious! XD
@@KatieLHall-fy1hw I think if Adam had "merely" died, his asshole behavior over the last 6000 years would have definitely resulted in his 'new' judgment sending him to hell -- and that would have made for an interesting season 2. But being 'exterminated' by angelic steel (a blade of which Nifty was handed) seems to mean your soul is -- presumably -- eliminated from existence. So, in theory, we won't be seeing Adam anymore. But there are still a lot of questions remaining, and we don't know the FULL details of how the spiritual universe works in this world, so who knows? Maybe we might see him again...?
@@SteveMNDSir Pentious was exterminated by angelic power and he still survived so it might only work if the person deserves to move to either heaven or hell
@@SteveMNDI wonder if you have to die again and your actions in any place; Earth, Heaven or Hell, causes you to appear in hell as a sinner, or ascend to heaven. (Show wise) 🤷
I think Sir pentious going to heaven is to show that it isn't a decision..its a machine. Somthing dictates it and does it automatically. The seraphim looked pretty stunned when he showed up.
Nah God just pulled a middle finger towards Sera for her rejecting the redemtion act. Since as sera said heself, souls just apepar in front of gate...and Pentious was summoned right in front of her in that private room. Adam was not ressurected so god had no intention or saving him, he was all about selfishness, while Pentious did it for love and friendship the self-sacrafice act.
@@Zibi21 I don't know about that. The show has done a lot of work to avoid referencing God at all. I think it was an automatic thing that happened and the souls of those who redeem themselves are meant to go to the Seraphimes first as an introduction
@@Zibi21We don't really know if resurrection is possible yet. For all we know, Pentious was pulled away at the last second and his soul wasn't extinguished, while Adam was just killed on screen
The one issue I have with the fight is Dazzle dying so unceremoniously not even 30 seconds after going big mode for the first time. I get they needed to get Charlie up there but what are they gonna do besides fly when they don't have angelic weapons to hurt the Exterminators? Plus Vaggie has wings now so why did she need to fly on Dazzle? I know they wanted to show off but it felt so anticlimactic, especially since not only does Dazzle die so easily but after Charlie gets punched by Adam Razzle just disappears completely. Feels underwhelming when Lucifer said they're meant to keep Charlie safe.
Seen theories that think dazzle dying is what alerted lucifer that charlie herself was in danger which honestly makes sense. It's also sort of hinted at in an earlier episode during one of the songs, lucifer says he usually charges a "sacrificial lamb"
Unless they say it in season 2 I´m kinda holding out hope that Dazzle might just got badly injured but survived. I know he got cut and stabbed, but he is a big dragon thing! I´m sure he should be able to take some hits, even if he was incapacitated for the rest of the fight.
Sir Pentious went from the comic relief character to an absolute Chad in the span of 8 episodes. God damn, did he go out as a legend! Just kissed Cherri Bomb without a second thought, then sacrificed himself. She'll definitely remember him for a long time. He was a real one! Oh, and remember when Niffty said he is not a bad boy? What a hell of foreshadowing.
1) Alastor finally struck a deal with Charlie! I wonder what he will ask for? It might have to do with trying to end his deal with Lilith? 2) With Sir Pentious in Heaven literally everything changes. How will angels react? I wonder if he will meet Angel's sister there? 3) Lilith had a deal with Adam??? And it seems like she was allowed to stay in Heaven because of that!
I came across this show casually scrolling Prime to find something to watch. Not sure why I clicked it on but I did, not overly expecting a lot but I absolutely loved it. In a time of constant remakes, prequels and sequels this was a breath of fresh air and I really hope enough people find it to give us a second season. Although I hate to give a company like amazon any credit they are killing it at the moment in terms of original content.
Well pilot was orginally realeased on YT, people were thinking the project was dropped but amazon took it and good for them...to bad so little episodes.
I was really wondering what vacuum they were talking about. The only one they think disappeared was Alastor, who literally just came back after 7 years. How could he create such a power vacuum that wasn't already there before since he's been gone a long time lol
Well maybe Sera made a deal with Lilith, Lilith will be granted access to heaven and her departure from there would lower the risk of uprising with lowering the power. With Lucifer in depression from the divorce and no queens ruler power hell was more vulnerable for exterminators doing havoc. Mostly the deal was Adam will be killed by Lucifer so Lute can take command, maybe Lilith feels salty that she ended in hell becouse of Lucifer.
I guess: nothing. As you said, CHARLIE was the one writing this. Her own daughter. Of course, the story of the children lets the parents shine in a complete different light. Maybe Lilith was a terrible Mom and highly manipulative towards her daughter. Maybe all she cared for was power and a pleasant life for herself, which is why she struck some deal with Adam to go back to heaven.
@@sebastianressel8007Lilith is actually the ruler of Hell, not Lucifer. The showrunners confirmed it before on a podcast. She made Hell into what to is now, so she’s probably also behind the deal with the extermination in exchange of the other ring’s freedom. Among the 7 rings, only Pride (where Lilith and the Morningstar family resides) is the only one experiencing exterminations.
I suppose ten thousand years is a long time to be trapped somewhere. Maybe she made a deal to stay under heaven's watch in exchange for her family's safety. Or she's trying to sabotage heaven on the inside. We already have a thoroughly shitty mom in Stella from hb, and it doesn't feel like the writers are going in the same direction for Lilith. Speaking of, I don't get the complaint about "vivzie only knows how to write bad garbage moms" when the sample size of evil moms is literally just Stella? We have way more garbage dads; Paimon, Cash, Crimson. Stolas, Blitz and Lucifer all count as well-meaning but incompetent dads, even! Tilla, Moxxie's mom, Millie's mom, and Carmilla are literally all good mothers.
and yet Vaggie herself didn't even think about angel steel being the obvious answer- That definitely made no sense, like how else did she think they removed her eye and wings-
@@tjsquibbofficialI think the obvious explanation is that Vaggie thought she was "demoted" by that point, her angelic invulnerablity stripped from her. That would be a more logical conclusion than angelic weapons can hurt the invulnerable angels.
@@Alastordadeerexcept for the fact that Vizie has already said that Alastor would not even be able to beat Stolas so I highly doubt that he's actually being held back by the deal the way everyone seems so desperate to claim

So Hazbin's sister series Helluva Boss does go over more of Hell's hierarchy. Such as the Seven sins, the ars goetia, and more hellborn peeps. Satan and Lucifer are two different people, in fact they are both one of the sins. Lucifer is pride and Satan is Wrath. The Seven sins are always announced in the show so you'll always know who they are. So I just wanted to say that if you decide to check it out. Also more of Earth is shown in Helluva Boss.
im convincced the factors that redeem the soul are this: -given vivsipop has stated sinners forms are based on their interests + a feature they dont like about themselves (and Winners are the same but - that feature) and here we see sir pentious redeemed with nearly no changed oher then a slight angelic asthetic and colors - i think the first factor is to accept yourself, flaws included. you can't move up if your still hating a piece of who you are. overcome your insecurities. -show courage in the face of your own fears -show a genuine love and care for thosein your life -make a completely selfless sacrifice for the betterment of others, even if it means facing death
Pretty sure revival is impossible because Angelic weapons destroy human souls. That's why only the extrerminators can permanently kill sinners. So unless God or whatever is in charge of this world can just overwrite that im Pretty sure he is perma-dead.
There's definitely more to it than this. Maybe she made a deal to basically stay under heaven's eye and not start shit in return for her family's safety.
Right? I was expecting her to end up as an antagonist, but I thought it would be because she was too gung ho about sticking it to heaven. Didn't think she'd turn out to be a sellout
I've been saying this but I'm proud of Alastor for fighting Adam. I'm pretty sure he knew that he wouldn't be able to beat him. But he still was trying.😊
I don’t know where to put this, so I’m gonna put it here. I think Adam is still around. I think it’s going to be a big reveal in the beginning of season 2 that just like how Sir P died again and went to heaven, I think Adam died again and went to Hell. I think he’s going to be desperate and go to Alastar (someone he knows is strong and isn’t Lucifer), and he’s going to make a deal with Alastar. I think Adam is going to be a key player in season 2, but in more of a background role. For a show that says that there’s hope for every sinner has to redeem one actually evil person. I think Adam going to hell could lead to a confrontation with Lute where she has to either uphold her morals that all sinners are evil, even Adam, or she’s going to realize that there is a gray area. Either way, I think Sir P being reborn in heaven was to let us end the season on a high note and to let us infer that Adam (also voiced by Alex Brightman) is having the opposite experience. Or maybe he’s really just dead and that’s that.
The point of lucifer not being the "typical" devil we see in media is because he's still an angel! It's why he's in charge of the pride ring (if you watch helluva boss you'll understand more of the rings of hell situation) but he's very prideful in his choices and doesn't regret them. Even if he does have to live with how people use the free will he gave them.
I really enjoy it when you have Roxy on! I admire how many TV shows she watches in a single year as well as the goal she has set herself with watching more TV shows this year than last year. Being a person who watches 90% more TV shows than movies, I admire that and hope you achieve that goal! ❤❤ Much love from Summerside, Prince Edward Island 🇨🇦
Sir Pentious first died in 1888 & with his 2nd being the present which resulted him in now as an Angel which is kind of interesting it was a snake that was the first one to be redeemed since it was a snake that tricked Adam & Eve out of the Garden, but this was fantastic so can’t wait for the 2nd season so you guys will love Helluva Boss
With Sir Pentious redeeming himself and ending up in heaven after he died his second death, I hope Adam reappears in hell as a sinner next season. Cause Adam was an angel that acted more like a demon, it would be fitting that if he were judged again he'd be found wanting and end up stuck in hell. The contrast between the two of them essentially switching places could be really interesting.
Well, a lot of questions and request have been answered in one episode. All we need is: • Who owns Alastor's soul? (If he has an owner) • More characters shall be redeemed • Alastor frowning • Cherri and Sir Pentious be happy (Would they be in a long distant relationship or will they reunite?) • ✨Angst✨ • Alastor's backstory and history, intentions and secrets (Because he's mysterious) Agreed?
In the finale song in the vees verse you can see Vox has a picture of alastor and alastor dosent let anyone take his picture. Also the picture is ripped in half and you can see half of voxs head in the picture which suggests Vox and alastor were close at some point in time so for season 2 I really want them to dive deeper into Vox and alastors relationship
It really is. The only complaint anyone has is the breakneck pacing because they initially didn't know if they were gonna get a second season. Which they are getting. Even a third is being talked about simply because this one did so well.
@@AlexVardr Yeah, I *really* hope the writing improves for the next season. The concepts, characters, animation and music in this show is phenomenal. I just want it to pace itself next season.
Yo Roxy, idk how long you keep checkin the comments for after upload but you guys are delightful and this is the only channel I know that addresses and avoids all the criticisms I have of reaction content. I looked for a Hazbin playlist on this channel right after I watched the series without even knowing if you guys had covered it.
Whats even crazier about that ending is that it probably won't be long before Sirpentious meets back up with the Hotel Crew as he arrived in heaven in front of Sera and Emily, the latter of which would love any reason to contact Charlie again I'm sure, and Sirpentious was very visible from when the court meeting happened in episode 6 so the two of them definitely will recognize him. Honestly I am hyped as hell (pun intended) for season 2!
16:45 Just to clarify, Alastor's wings aren't clipped *to* anytjjng. If you clip the wings of a bird, like a pigeon, you shorten them to prevent it from flying as far or as fast. It was a practice typically done during plays, to keep pigeons and doves from fluttering into the rafters. Clipping someone's wings means to constrain them, and prevent them from using their full potential.
The finale was such an epic showdown, seeing Charlie and Lucifer kick the absolute s*** out of Adam. At the same time, Lucifer roasts Adam over the fact Lucifer ended up with Lilith and maybe even had a thing with Eve, Sir Pentious sadly sacrificing himself after kissing Cherri like a total CHAD, and Niffty stabbing Adam to death. I loved this show so much, and it truly felt like the wait was worth it. Plus, we now know officially that Sinners can, in fact, be redeemed, with Pentious ending up in Heaven, which had me ROARING WITH JOY because he was a total legend who earned it. It also looks like Lilith will be an antagonist next season and try to stop Charlie under some deal with Heaven, so I imagine this will cause a lot of family conflict for Charlie next season.
Thanks for reacting to the series y'all, I legitimately appreciated how you guys edited the songs for this show. Partially removing the backing track really helped drive home how great the vocals were.
That war was absolutely crazy. Especially when Charlie started showing her true power and Lucifer showed up. This really gives an idea of power scaling. Alastor had a distinct technical advantage, but the power differential was simply insurmountable. And Lucifer just played with Adam like he was a ragdoll, but when he got serious about protecting Charlie, really is the strongest being Hell. Lucifer is by far the best character in the show ngl.
To me Either that he just respawns in heaven and somehow can’t be killed, is gone for good, or like how sir pensious died and went to heaven Adam will respawn as a sinner
I'm glad you mentioned Little Nicky b/c Sir Pentious going to Heaven reminds me of when Nicky did the same ("Self-sacrifice automatically gets you here").
I cannot WAIT for season 2- I need sir pentious and emily interactions! Maybe mollie too? I /NEED/ to see how heaven reacts to knowing sinners CAN be redeemed. Will sir pentious be treated like a freak? or some kind of celebrity?
Since you guys know who vizipop is now from watching hazbin hotel i would also recommend watching the helluva boss series. It's made by the same animation, same creator and i believe the same development team but different actors They also got some famous celebrities in this they got Norman reedus sadly only for 1 episode and more but for helluva boss it involves the 7 deadly sins of hell, we only got to see i think 3 sins of hell but its been going on for awhile
Actually, A theory. Alastor seems to have sold his soul to someone, we think is Lilith. And we know he sold his soul because in one of the episodes Husker says "big talk for someone who's also on a leash." So, i think that the deal. Alastor made with Charlie was something to get his soul back, so he could gain his full power. Thats what he meant by "im hungry for freedom" and "when i find a way to unclip my wings". He wants his full power back.
I don't know where being get the idea that he's being suppressed if anything selling his soul is how he got his strength so quickly , clipping someone wings is literally a saying for taken someone freedom which he was always singing about right after that he says "pulling all the strings" that's saying for someone who manipulates people behind the scenes or blackmail , it's not something used when referring to power , it's possible that not having he soul his keeping him from gaining more power thru deals but everything stated is pointed towards him simply not having the freedom to do what he want , people gotta realize that alastor is currently on the lowest level of the hierarchy when it comes to the big dogs of hell
So as far as Alastor's deal is concerned, I've heard a lot of theories, but everyone seems to focus on characters we already know. Personally, my bets are that his deal is with a character named Ruu. Now this is *old* Vivziepop lore. One of the earliest sketches we have of Hazbin Hotel is a lot of characters in their sorta alpha designs. One of said characters is an eldritch horror called Ruu. We don't know anything about her, but she is scary! Vivzie was especially excited to see audience reactions to her specifically. I personally think that she's Alastor's dealmaker, and she's probably gonna be the BIG bad of the series.
I was overjoyed to see Adam vs Lucifer. I so wanted to hear him roast that douche with a line like that. I was imagining a: “oh Lilith always said you didn’t last long” But, “well your first wife didn’t seem to hate what I had to offer…or the second” was even better.
I was kinda disappointed to find out Adam was actually wearing a mask. I expected instead that the big secret of Heaven was going to be that they already knew sinners could be redeemed, because Adam did go to Hell first, but was pulled out from where due to being the first man, not willing to accept he "failed". But were unable to give him a "heavenly" appearance. shame it ended up being just a mask.
That's a lot of cut if your watching the show through reaction there's Spanish dub on hitv app if you're interested... I haven't watch a single reaction of them fn hazbin but I'm sure it's a lot of cut there's no way can avoid the trouble posting it without cutting.
I feel like alastor was supposed to be stronger, but his deal is just critically reducing his powers. His powers come from voodoo, an entirely different source of power that maybe isn't connected to hell, and the fact he's under someone's heels just make it impossible for him to use his full powers
There's literally nothing suggesting that he's weakened by his deal. Considering how fast he became na overlord, it's possible that his deal is the reason he's so powerful in the first place. Alastor is strong, but there are countless other beings stronger than him, just accept it.
@@that_icy_stylish_bitch What do you mean there is nothing suggesting the deal weakens his powers? In his song, he says that when he figures out how to get himself out of the deal he made he’ll be the one pulling the strings, indicating that the deal is restricting his abilities in some way
Good job. You are wrong. The show spells out the hierarchy of power, right to you. It could not get more simple. Alaster is strong, but he is very reliant on manipulation when dealing with the big dogs. Adam one shots him.
It's more likely the opposite. The deal is what allowed him to start out so powerful. It definitely does constrain him in some way but I doubt it actively weakens him
Yo, did y'all notice the similarity of this fight scene to that of Harry Potter when they had an army of stone guardians (here cannibals) and a magic shield, and they both protect a place? Definitely feels inspired by it, am I right?
Thank you guys for your reactions! Roxie you had great theories it was a ton of watching Hazbin hotel. Now you guys should really watch “Helluva Boss” to see how the rest of hell is like. Pentagram city is just the top ring of hell. The rest of hell is locked out for the sinners and only hell born creatures can travel to the rest of the rings. Btw Helluva Boss was co-created with Brandon Rogers and there is even more talent from Broadway. It’s a fun series and it’s more about relationships between imps, hellhounds and the rest of hellborn creatures.

There's a verse in the Bible, John 15:13, "Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" so as soon as Sir Pentious died, I was like "Holy crap, he's gonna get into Heaven!"
Yup
That was the first thing that came into my mind when I saw him redeemed. That is actually one of my favorite verses so I was hyped that it was applied to this.
I wonder if this implies if adam will actually go to hell and get like a revenge arc
Ye he did what he needed to do 😢
Emily is so proud that Charlie did the impossible.
I feel like their powers were a bit underwhelming compared to Helluva Boss rulers
They held back and didn't use their full power, even though we only saw half of it.
@@SageVaughnPerhaps that was deliberate. They probably won’t use the full extent of it much later down the line of the show.
I mean, it makes sense. Adam and Lilith are human souls after all. I'd wager, if Alastor was at full strength, he'd be around their level.
@@SWTobito0702 Eh
@@SWTobito0702 eh idk about that
For me, the way Vivizie did to show how absurd Adam is ,was brilliant, because putting him to defeat Alastor was certainly much more impactful than Charlie, for example.(this just shows how absurd Alastor is in terms of charisma, you are much more shocked seeing him lose to Adam than Charlie, and the funniest Charlie is stronger than him, and even so Alastor's defeat is much more impactful)
Adam reminding everyone that as goofy as his frat boy attitude can look, there's a reason the exterminations were unopposed for generations. This really gives an idea of power scaling. Alastor barely held his own against Adam and Lucifer just played with Adam like he was a ragdoll.
Why was blud playing against himself
Exactly.
If Alastor is a 150, Adam is like a 200 and Lucifer is like a 1000.

Oh Alastor will turn on them at some point, I believe it. That being said y'all, it would be Charlie's ultimate test to redeem a guy like Alastor, I think.
REALEST
All of the alastor fans...chilll...we love him too, and without him hazbin hotel wouldn't be as interesting...but whether he was being held back or not, canonically, he's not at all as powerful as charlie or lucifer (yet, not saying he won't be in the future),
Plus, I loved that Adam was able to defeat Alastor with ease, cuz itll build character..

Also my headcanon for why Lucifer showed up at the end:
Because for most of the time , Adam and the exorcists were attacking sinners, Lucifer couldn't butt in into the situation, because that was heaven's orders, but when Adam went directly for Charlie, his daughter, and a hellborn, he had every right to protect her, because that wasn't part of the Sera's deal.
"You lack discipline, control and worse? You're sssloooppyy."
Gives total Death Wolf vibes from The Last Wish. All we needed was Adam to say "Get up. Get. TF. UP."
Absolutely LOVED seeing everyone go full force here. And Alastor's song was so intriguing..sooo many questions surrounding the Radio Demon.
And let's not forget a moment of Alastor sniffing the air and going: "I just LOVE the smell of FEAR!"
Well because technically it was there job to be killers
I wonder if his long term plan is to take over He’ll entirely?
@@nerd-mask723 Lute also had a deal with Lilith, so I am curious what it was for. Also, is Lilith on earth?

The first one banished from Heaven was an angel that took the form of a snake. Fitting that the first one redeemed back from Hell was a snake that gained the form of an angel.
@tomaslievre8119 Indeed, I loved that symbolism. Especially when you remember that Pentious was the first "villain" of the series (facing Cherri Bomb and Angel Dust, and then Alastor), and he was known as a technological inventor (just like the serpent giving the fruit of knowledge).

A big clue was in the final episode. When Lucifer was fighting Adam, he alluded to having relations with BOTH of his wives. Plus Vaggie has wings now so why did she need to fly on Dazzle? I know they wanted to show off but it felt so anticlimactic, especially since not only does Dazzle die so easily but after Charlie gets punched by Adam Razzle just disappears completely. Truth to be told, they should keep Charlie safe from things in hell, never from angels so the fact that they are weak compared to Adam checks out
I mean they were going up against exorcist
The irony that Alastor basically lost the same way that it was explained on how to defeat the Angels is not something I've seen others mention.

Lilith was seen as a true ruler of hell. Charlie said she loved the place and it's people. So what changed?

-show a genuine love and care for thosein your life
-make a completely selfless sacrifice for the betterment of others, even if it means facing death

LUCIFER WIELDING A KEYBLADE GOES HARD AF!!!! 🔑🗡️
17:00 vox and Valentino making out
The acappella version you edited for Vaggie and Charlie's More Than Anything was absolutely beautiful!!
I really enjoy it when you have Roxy on! I admire how many TV shows she watches in a single year as well as the goal she has set herself with watching more TV shows this year than last year.
Being a person who watches 90% more TV shows than movies, I admire that and hope you achieve that goal! ❤❤
Much love from Summerside, Prince Edward Island 🇨🇦
I highly suggest watching Vivzie's other show taking place in the same setting, Helluva Boss!
I wonder if an angel who’s bad and dies goes to hell after, basically opposite of Sir Pentious in this finale
That would be kind of cool if Adam ended up going to Hell. It would be quite the twist.
8:25 when his voice got normal I just- uh whaaat? It felt so vierd to hear it raw man!
I’d like to think Alastor has a obsession with radios and has a massive collection of them lmao
“He’s really grown on me.”
“I know I love him so much.”
Welp. You’re in for a doozy.
Love Vaggie’s outfit in this!
It had the sky of Heaven. Lilith left her family and people to chill on a beach. 10/10 mom right there.
Well, a lot of questions and request have been answered in one episode. All we need is:
• Who owns Alastor's soul? (If he has an owner)
• More characters shall be redeemed
• Alastor frowning
• Cherri and Sir Pentious be happy (Would they be in a long distant relationship or will they reunite?)
• ✨Angst✨
• Alastor's backstory and history, intentions and secrets (Because he's mysterious)
Agreed?
I don't know if it was a nod to The Sandman but the Lilith reveal gave me a “The sunsets are bloody marvelous, you old b&stard.” vibe.
I think you guys would really enjoy watching helluva boss
In the finale song in the vees verse you can see Vox has a picture of alastor and alastor dosent let anyone take his picture. Also the picture is ripped in half and you can see half of voxs head in the picture which suggests Vox and alastor were close at some point in time so for season 2 I really want them to dive deeper into Vox and alastors relationship
This seems like a good show. Looks like you’ve all had a great time watching it.
@yarn2350 it hopefully should. They're apparently already recording lines for season 2
I love how you do read every single comment ALSO
Hazbin hotel Season finale was best banger of shows I have ever seen.
Can I the only one that noticed what vox and Valentino were doing in the background s:l -> 16:58
I love the scrolling captions during the tv broadcast:
“When is Season two coming out ?”
17:12 "It was at that moment Sera knew she had *f██ked up.* "
Funny thing. Adam knew about Angel Dust in episode 6, but uh he didn’t know about Alastor.
Does that mean… he watches… Angel?
I hope Adam survived, he was definitely my favorite surprise of this season.
There are quite a few possibilities how he might return.
Thank you for introducing me to this banger of a show! I’m obsessed I want season 2 to have 20+ episodes
THANKS I BEEN SHEARCHING THE WHOLE INTERNET FOR THIS
Woah anyone else notice Vox and Val making out at the end while Velvet takes a picture?
Since you guys know who vizipop is now from watching hazbin hotel i would also recommend watching the helluva boss series. It's made by the same animation, same creator and i believe the same development team but different actors
They also got some famous celebrities in this they got Norman reedus sadly only for 1 episode and more but for helluva boss it involves the 7 deadly sins of hell, we only got to see i think 3 sins of hell but its been going on for awhile
I was imagining a: “oh Lilith always said you didn’t last long”
But, “well your first wife didn’t seem to hate what I had to offer…or the second” was even better.
You're the best you're one of my new favorite youtubers
13:32 look at vaggie all excited
4:21 Vaggie and Charlie in the background 😂😂
I was kinda disappointed to find out Adam was actually wearing a mask.
I expected instead that the big secret of Heaven was going to be that they already knew sinners could be redeemed, because Adam did go to Hell first, but was pulled out from where due to being the first man, not willing to accept he "failed".
But were unable to give him a "heavenly" appearance.
shame it ended up being just a mask.
7:55 the fu**ing ah ah ah I can't ong😭😭😭
If you read this, I love your Hazbin reactions! Since I don’t have prime I use y’all to watch the show!
That's a lot of cut if your watching the show through reaction there's Spanish dub on hitv app if you're interested...
I haven't watch a single reaction of them fn hazbin but I'm sure it's a lot of cut there's no way can avoid the trouble posting it without cutting.
@@Okita-tu2zp yeah I’m looking for an app to watch it in-cut but I can deal with it being cut if I have to
Thanks
Sir pentious is literally papyrus from undertale i cant unsee it
I feel like alastor was supposed to be stronger, but his deal is just critically reducing his powers.
@that_icy_stylish_bitch That is far more likely then Alaster being far stronger without the deal. Why would he make a deal to lose power? So stupid..
It's more likely the opposite. The deal is what allowed him to start out so powerful. It definitely does constrain him in some way but I doubt it actively weakens him
The way Lucifer looks so annoyed when Alastor comes back 😂
Yo, did y'all notice the similarity of this fight scene to that of Harry Potter when they had an army of stone guardians (here cannibals) and a magic shield, and they both protect a place? Definitely feels inspired by it, am I right?
The only thing I dislike is how quick these episodes felt, but besides that, this series is great and I’m so proud of Vivian and her team 😄
Cool thank you!!
