“Do the pop tarts work with active pickups?” 😅 The winner has been announced and it's: @claudiojimenez6446 Congrats! Thanks to the 285+ people who entered. Please respond here (or on my post in my community tab) and I'll get those out to you. A reminder that I will never ask you for money, ever. Thanks again everyone! I plan to do one next week as well.
For the Bluetooth Page Turner, most of the more inexpensive pedals will appear to devices as simple, 2-button (or however many footswitches there are on the device) Bluetooth Keyboard - ↑/↓, ←/→, PgUp/PgDown, Enter/Spacebar - and aren't Bluetooth MIDI devices. Bluetooth LE is just a category within the Bluetooth standard, which LE stands for Low Energy. Great video! I've got the JW-03 for using at home, and it works pretty great! The Wireless XLR would be a great option for singers in one of my bands!
I've had a Joyo Jw-03 for three years, and it's never had a problem!!! I've already recommended it to friends too, and recently my other guitarist who plays with me purchased one! no criticism, very good... Greetings from Brazil, I learn a lot from your videos and... Pop Tarts...
I have a jw-03 and sometimes the signal cuts a lot despite being right in front of the receiver, also, either the signal has too much tremble/it's thin or my cable suck
Who doesn't love cheap wireless gear that just works? The same people that don't like Pop Tarts. Don't be friends with these people, you don't need that kind of negativity in your life. Great job as always, Scott! My favorite UA-cam channel!
Thanks reiterating to bring backup. The RF environment can change drastically from soundcheck to show showtime and swapping systems might be easier for most folks than scanning for open frequencies on more professional systems. Easier than toasting Pop Tarts.
Very grateful for your terrific content Scott. My wife & I sometimes count all the Pop Tart flavors at Walmart. THey add & change flavors, always at least 30 types!
I've not had pop tarts in years! I'm starting a media production business and your videos are definitely giving me hope and ideas for setups and backups!
Thanks for the video Scott. I literally ordered the 5.8 Ghz system yesterday for sending Aux signal to my wedge during solo gigs. Cool to see you using it for that purpose with the E-verse. Also, PSA - Pop Tarts don't need to be toasted to be delicious.
Never heard of the Joyo brand and super impressed with the price and quality you showed and walked through. Old band I played in had the “other” model and had multiple issues at shows. Curious how this brand would stand up. I love Pop Tarts almost as much as new gear!
I find that i have to put my existing Pop Tarts into mic stands on the end of short XLR cables to try and get elevation and better line of sight when using as audio transmitters for PA. I KMOW these Pop Tarts will be better. Look forward to replacing my stale Pop Tarts. Thanks for another really informative video!
Scott Im really looking forward to watch videos of the Duo concept, is the one I will like to work on, also, I have 2 of the XLR system and they work perfect, pop tarts sounds awesome!!!
Thanks again, Scott!! I love that you provide inexpensive products that can work with a newer band like mine that's not making a ton of money. I also appreciate your honesty about the product and what to be prepared for when you buy inexpensive equipment! I have purchased some of the equipment you have recommended in other videos and I am considering buying a 5.8ghz wireless guitar system for my lead guitarist. It is worth the risk at such a good price! Lastly, I haven't had Pop Tarts in many many years.
Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Pop Tarts are the bomb. I have a pre-show tradition of eating them before our first set after we finish sound check. Great vid as always.
Thanks for this review! I've been seeing these Joyos floatin around Amazon and wondering what they're like. As I much as I love Pop Tarts😂 I would totally get these wireless over PTs!
Great review as usual, Scott. I've always thought Joyo gear was a great value. While not meant to rival their high-end counterparts, their bang-for-the-buck is undeniable. I had their Joyo American Sound pedal, which was a clone of Tech 21 at a fraction of the price. Been using Xvive wireless IEM and guitar systems with mixed results. I have some problems with the acoustic guitar which I suspect has to do with the 9V battery being so close to the transmitter. Thinking of trying the Joyo system. Going to grab some Pop Tarts now and hope for the best--thanks!
Thanks Scott for this small review, interesting ones (especially the jack ones with the case). I'll kepp track of those if I switch to wireless with my Variax (not sure, though ;) ). And I don't know what compells me to says this, but : Pop Tarts ! Even if I live in France. Best regards from there, BTW.
Thanks Scott! These seem like a great option for having a main and back-up wireless. I'm amazed at the amount of shows that you are able to book. BTW what flavor of Pop Tarts are your favorite? I'm a cinnamon man myself.
Man i really enjoy your reviews! The no b.s ''pretty lights'' approach is a great way to go... And you give alot of real world examples. Keep up the good work. O and p.s Pop-Tart🏆
Starting out in Ireland as a piano player at wedding drinks receptions have found a load of your videos are really helpful. Irish pop tarts are the best 😂🎉
Great review. Used the wireless XLRs to perform a song for my daughter’s wedding which was outdoors by a river. Was skeptical but they worked great! Should have brought pop tarts to feed the squirrels! Your reviews are excellent keep them coming!
Another great videos (so was your other on cheap wireless gear). Hoping some Pop Tarts will come my way someday 😋. Thanks for doing what you do and doing it well 🤘
I love your pop tarts and your sharing of wireless gear info . Have you ever mad a video on scanning the wires environment using something like RF explorer or RF Explorer Pro ?
Hey! I love all this cheap wireless content! It’s so useful to know what to and not to do as a small artist!!! Also, don’t know if you’re an Açai fan, but I recently found Açai *Pop Tarts* that were super good!
Another great review Scott. Thanks. I have purchased a couple of those items already but I am interested in the 5 gigahertz wireless guitar . Enter me with the phrase Pop Tarts
It is always great watching your wireless gear reviews, i have already bought few of them, it works great.. "Pop Tarts" you really doing great job 💯 Thanks ❤
These are all great as backup gear in case of main gear failure. My recent biggest failure is burning my last 2 pop tarts in the toaster - always double check the settings!
Your videos are great I picked up the Swiff wireless based on your recommendation & could definitely use these Joyo too, btw my wife makes the best pop tarts.
I have used the joyo mw1 for gigs and long rehearsals. I have been able to get over 6 hrs of battery life consistently. My only complaint is the bodies are too wide which prevents issues plugged into a mixer with multiple units. I get by this with a 3 ft xlr cable
always good info Scott - and I've especially been interested in your series of wireless gear - because while I HATE cables... I LOVE me some POP TARTS on occasion! LOL!
@@ScottUhlMusic yeah... I use two Bose S1 Li-Ion in stereo via bluetooth for my backing tracks off an old phone, a Roland Cube Bass 6xAA for my Yamaha Silent Guitar 1x9v, small Zoom MultiStomp 2xAA and the Joyo wireless for guitar... no cables... all battery! Sets up in 5 minutes... which freaks out club owners and other musicians when they see how well it works!
Hey Claudio, you actually were the winner of the contest. See my pinned comment and my post in my community tab to confirm. Man wireless tech is so cool. Almost as cool as poptarts were when I was growing up! When you're playing in your band setup are you straight to pa from a pedalboard? If so what board? If not why?
I actually use this guitar: ua-cam.com/video/Ausw3WiCEtg/v-deo.htmlsi=r3-zXcYs1nZ2LSes So I can go wireless straight into the board. It’s pretty killer!
Hey Scott I appreciate the video curious to know what acoustic guitar that was at the last show you did it was hanging on the stand next to your Mooer guitar :) Pop Tarts
A karaoke DJ friend of mine recently got their XLR wireless and the build & audio quality felt really great for the price. I already own the JW-30 2.4ghz guitar wireless and it's the I talked about in one of my last comments. In a safer environment it works just great. Now to go munch on some pop tarts! Cheers!
Scott you're the reason why i started having cables allergy😅😅 Super informative video as always, i would love a 5.8 gHz wireless and an xlr adapter, so i have to say Pop Tarts !!
I seriously just got the Joyo XLR. Like I opened it the same time I clicked play on this video. I have an Xvive U3, but get interference on the regular on 2.4. I just do small duo stuff, so not the end of the world, but I can't wait to try this. Do you think using two of these is typically doable? I know there is some risk. Thanks!

Pop tarts only work with active pickups before being toasted. Once toasted they're... well they're toast.
@@CP_BlessedDad Remember the perils of the early pop tart pioneers, as documented in the movie Unfrosted!
@@GuitarPaul46 those were troublesome times indeed. May the knowledge they passed down never be forgotten.

That everse is so good! Working on a video on the 12 now too

Thanks for the reviews and all the info! Cinnamon brown sugar pop tarts are my favorite.
