Missed Sin: The Professor guy actually said “That’s twice this month, that you’ve slipped me deadly nightshade” which to me implies that Sally has tried to poison him many, times before and not just the two times mentioned in the movie.
Maybe he's just a devoted Dad and figures that this type of rebellion is just a normal phase in a creepy animated doll. Maybe in Halloweentown, poisoning your creator is considered a perfectly normal stage of development.

I think the Mayor runs the town, while Jack (The king) oversees the holiday. It's like how Washington DC has a mayor, and the President is also there.
Huh I keep forgetting that that's a thing lol or how in foreign countries you'll have a Prime Minister and a President. The President acts as the head of State and the Prime Minister as the head of government.
It could also just be a title for the scariest person, without any political power. In the Netherlands we have 'prince Carnaval' which is just a title someone gets for being awesome at carnaval. Does not mean he suddenly rules the country.
Donder oohh that's really cool! The US is sorta stuffy so the closest thing we got to that (that I know of) is the Pancake Queen. In some areas it's a pageant in other areas it's awarded to the best pancake maker in the area :D

Angelina Albano for me Fright Night was one of my fave movies (the original from the 80s) and the vampire bad guy in that is the guy who voiced Jack. Always blows my mind.

My favorite part of this movie is when Jack casually breaks a clipboard with his knee with zero effort, I don't know why it always cracked me up

I always forget that this was a stop motion puppet movie. I admire people with the patience to do such things. I lost my temper trying to make a BJD walk halfway across the desk.

It wasn't a Tim Burton film, it was a film of a Tim Burton short story. Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. The director doesn't like recognition much so he happily made several more Tim Burton-esque movies letting Tim take the credit too. They're friends so it works.
I clicked on this video just so I can say this movie is a masterpiece and I watched it every year for Halloween

1:04 well... yeah. Zeros an important character who’s onscreen a lot. He’s Jacks loyal companion who’s with him though it all. The other ghosts are just background characters who appear for maybe 3 seconds. Him being the only 3D animated ghost sets him apart from the other ones and also it would look silly for Jack, a 3D character, to be interacting with a 2D character.

@@timefortea6063 More than 70% of his sins arent funny or even supposed to be funny. It's painfully obvious- just watch any of their videos. He legitimately tries to make critisism with no elements of comedy.

Zero only hides out in the grave while Jack is gone. Jack freed the people of Halloween town from Oogie Boogie during an epic battle, making Zero a target outside of Jack's protection.
After the battle, Jack was reluctantly made the pumpkin king. But as we noticed at the end of the movie, Jack accepts his role as long with new found conviction. The death of Oogie further pushed Jack to become the dictator he was always meant to be.

Creatures can be a corpse or ghost depending on how they died, or what they were before they died. I believe that Halloween town might be a some type of hell for people who have sinned in their past lives. Jack might have been burned alive....which is why he is a skeleton.

Actually Tim Burton didn’t want his name on the movie title because he wasn’t there for most of filming but Disney thought it was more sellable than Henry’s name so they credit Henry as a director but left Tim as the head director

Ok and the weird part was Disney wanted to make sequel to The Nightmare before Christmas that was called "The Unlucky Clover". So you would have been able to see the drunk St. Patrick's Village.
Also side note: Glad to see this movie was lower on the sin count. Yes it's a bit shorter, but it's also a masterpiece and classic! You simply can't sin with it as much!
