I used to spend hours fortifying my base, building walls and turrets etc. If ever get to play this game again I may just go for the all out attack method as demonstrated here

i erlier use freemans for stealth destroy main build & radar, it enough. Also ingeneer take main build harkonen & heawy factory for make devastators. As i remember nobody can't stop 25 devastators :D

No man, you need barracks, outpost and upgrade CY to get the rocket turret. You should have tried to make the same buildings to see for yourself. Also make sure you have the latest version 1.06.

Clusters of 4+ rocketturrets, backed by 1 or 2 Siegetanks are an iron defence :D Nothing gets past that!

I tried to do like you and the result was.... My troops were totally destroyed. And the damn saboteurs always make my CY explode like fireworks.... fck

Yeah the Ordos army is strong. Take it slower. Get spice flowing, build up army, and attack immediatelly after Ordos' attack. But make sure you still have big army for that.
