It's absolutely perfect. I'm actually starting one this spring myself. I have a little 1.2 Acre hidden hillside that I have been planning for a long time. I can't wait for Spring.
Awesome guest room
OMFG I thought I´ve been a big fan of this build from the start, but this secret door/chamber behind the fireplace put everything on another level. This is GREAT! 🤘😄
Love the secret room 🤘
Wow, super awesome, man! I lit up when I saw that mechanism open the secret passage, too.
Ok, so 2 things right out of the gate sir. This is badfuginass sir. Secondly, I am digging the band T's in all the videos but I trash clothes I work in so you are more skilled to not trash them and more brave in case you do than I am. Glad I found this channel and you've inspired me to try and step outside of my comfort zone a bit. Thank you for the inspiration and showing some methods to gain new skills!
Hi from Michigan. I enjoy your videos very much. I just recently got back into the smithy game. I love taking metal and turning it into something cool. I am not a professional in this field and if I was younger and didn't have to take care of my ailing wife I would sign up for some of your classes. I am however a professional welder and came out of retirement to teach high school kids welding. That being said I have always wanted a hobbit hole to live in. So I have really enjoyed your videos on it. I hope to see more as you add things. I have learned a lot just watching your videos. Keep it up, you are doing a good thing. Also I love the chess set. Reminds me of one I did for my brother years ago, only I hand carved all the pieces out of wood. It took me close to a year to do.
Fantastic Thak!!!!!
I thought all you did was sick ironwork. Holy crap this is beautiful. I've had a dream of doing this since I was a kid. You even did it the hobbit way with mostly recycled scrap.
Wow!! I would never have thought there was so much ironwork that went into this as well..That looks extremely sturdy💪the secret room and the secret entrance are awesome! Thanks for sharing those early stage photos as well🙏it was cool seeing how you went about creating all the parts to this project. I wish I had even a shred of the vision you have😅Amazing job! 👌
Absolutely bad ass!!!
I could easily live in there. You should go underground next that would be wicked.
You did it ! Respect !
Idea with secret room is awesome !
:-)
Unexpected! I love it
I would use that "secret room" for food, ammunition, and video security placement/storage.
So cool!
how fun!!!
The build pics are pretty effin' awesome!@!
This is amazing!!!
What a journey!
It looks awesome Thak, great job. Love that door so much as well. Looking forward to the next vid already. See Ya!
What a fantastic, cozy place you built!
P.S. you drink S.Pellegrino water over there? As an Italian, I'm impressed!
Awesome stuff! With most of the things completed all that is left is optimization
Beautiful.💖
Love it! Love the whole idea of a place like that
That is incredible!! What a great project!
Awesome job, so inspiring, you as always do grand work!
Awesome to see some behind the scenes of the mason work. 👍
Will you go the Colin Furze way for the rest of the tunnel ? 😁
that is excellent what a awesome job!!!!
Great project, Thak! How tall are you, how tall is the Hobbit ceiling, and the pyramid ceiling? I think I heard that the door is 5 foot diameter and the windows are 2 foot diameter? How tall is the fireplace? Thank you for sharing your creative ideas! BK
I am 5' 10" ceiling is about 6' 5" at highest
I see what you did there, prepper
The mind is a terrible thing to taste!
Bathroom/shithouse🤷🏻♂️
