@@howtogetoutofbabylon8978 I used to have more than 40,000 books. I had so many that I had to rent a 10'x10' storage unit. I filled it up with books (including a 1905 1st grade Reading text book) and rare items, from front to back, side to side, and floor to ceiling. Unfortunately, someone broke into the unit and completely cleaned it out (leaving only a chess pawn behind). 😦😧😨😰😥😢😭😖😣😞😓😩😫
I would be sitting on the roof of this house all day if I could, just sitting and listening to birds, and inhaling fragrance of the trees and watching sunsets and then waiting for the stars of Elbereth and fireflies to appear. I would never wanted to leave such place. :) Becouse its heavenly. I dont need palaces full of gold, marble and crystal, I need fragrant wood and mossy stone, I need fragrance of the forest and enchantments of the birches whitening in the mists of indigo dusk of summertime.
"In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole and that meant comfort." A Description of a Hobbit-hole
I want to build something like this in my country for 20 years maybe, take advantage of the land shape I interested to own, my big deals are, we have 27 Celsius(like 80F) in average all the year seasons, and some friends like snakes and scorpions(not dangerous) spider etc. in Central America. How to deals with that problems?
The outside is almost perfect. My biggest issue is the door is not perfectly round, this is a big deal for me. The inside is very nice and they used a lot of the right materials. But the interior is still too much like a normal rectangular house. Need more circular geometry to give it a tunnel like feel. I'll rate it 7.5 out of 10.
Totally agree, I believe the builders and owners of this structure had to work within the building codes of the area since it is used as an air b&b so I believe they had to make some compromises. Thanks for watching!!
A lovely hobbit hole and an informative presentation! I’d like to offer some production suggestions to improve your channel. Lighting: presenters face could be lit a bit better in shots. Camera: the rule of thirds would be more aesthetically pleasing for the viewer so we could see more of what you were presenting to us. Audio: probably the biggest one for viewers. The ventilation system/fridge/Aircon was creating all sorts of noise (which I’m sure you/ your editor knows about) A work around for this would be to do the viewing shots and then do a voice over later for quality audio. (See the ‘never too small’ channel for examples) All the best with your channel! I hope that’s helpful 😊 I will come back and check out some more later!
Ive seen quite a few Hobbit houses. This one misses the mark. The rectangle door in the round door was an immediate red flag. The concrete walk way, the lack of light. But hey, even a bad hobbit house is better than any modern construction.
It is a beautiful house, of course. With that said, if their aim is to create a hobbit house, it has too many anachronistic elements. You have modern designs mixed with occasional rustic pieces.

Totally agree on the tub thing, Yes! the ventilation was in the roof near the back of the structure. As far as I can tell; The owners and builders created this as an Air B&B so I believe some of the design choices were based on that! Its a neat thing to visit for sure! Thanks for watching!
Well, I read the books all the time. Hardbacks of course. IF that is a Hobbit house, where are the tunnels and passage ways leading deeper into the hill, the many storerooms for food, beer and wines, the two kitchens, the guest bedrooms, the toilets and baths, the cloakrooms for the clothes. Hobbits don't, generally, live alone. Where would Sam and Rosie live in that house, with all their children? I don't like people ripping off other people with false advertising. This is NOT a Hobbit House. This is like a modern version of Marie Antoinette and her fake model farm in the grounds at Versailles. Pretending to be a farmer, while watching her serfs doing all the work. This is the same sort of thing, the owners laughing at the gullibility of the public, and falling for false advertising.
@@DavidCruickshank Another shallow non-reader. Another shallow creature, uncaring of the intellectual capacity of authors. Another shallow, lazy, no one, who just can't be bothered to care about anything at all.
My dream house is a large, human-sized Hobbit house with an enormous library.
You got it considering that I have about 40,000 books so have to be a pretty big house with a big library Floor to ceiling rolling ladder library!!!😊

This place would most definitely keep me centered. Sanctuary for my sanity. I adore this house!
Love the Apothecary Dispensers & Dark Academia Style, I think fits with the Lord of the Rings theme.
Very charming!
Wish I had one in Oklahoma ...it would be safe from Tornadoes!! Tornados are scary!
Good for hurricanes too . Do you go out with your snokel equipment on a mountain bike when they're in the neighborhood? lol
I like the front, hope to do something similar withe stones and of course door. Nice windows too.
She is so meditative in her mannerisms.
So nice&cool idea!
Beautiful
Thank you for this video!
When you walked on top of that house... It brought back memories
We're glad you enjoyed!

this is so beautiful :) but I esp like that the house is actualy in the woods.
pretty cool place. but it definitely needs a living area. and a bigger firepit. and a area to store food from hunting.
Why was it so noisy inside? Sounds like an engine running constantly.
Love this

That would be amazing! a tight fitting door (or entry way with a second door) could go a long way!!

You need to get some highbeams in there so we can see
That door was a rectangle 😂learn your shapes
Could use some background music to cover the background noise.
I’d live in here, ideal height for a wheelchair user!
J’aime beaucoup !
No walk thru of the living area, is there one? All we saw was kitchen, bedroom and bath.
Its a small space so there is no separate living area within, but there are 120 acres to explore!
A lovely hobbit hole and an informative presentation!

Interesting Farm
what farm?
This Airbnb is located at June Farms!

Kislány, leginkább téged lehetett látni, de azért egy kis elképzelésem van arról, hogy milyen lehet ez a "kismanó ház".🤔
A really cute place to stay. 😊
The lack of natural light and windows makes this hobbit home gloomy and lifeless.
Awesome place, but the statement that the thick wall is a sign of the building quality is just wrong.

Door is way too big
Beutiful, but they cheated on the door.
Where is the ventilation in the roof? The bathroom should have a tub. Hobbits take baths. not showers.

I think the pipe weed is making your voice croakey.
you have a bad editor , i heard the door crick and saw roaches in the sink...........fyi
🤣she clearly doesn't cook
This is a country cottage/cabin.
Awful tour. Close up shots inside, everything was fake and forced.
Very disappointed.☹️
Thank you for engaging with our video!
I don’t rightly care about lamps or plants…
Rather hear from the home owner or builder than you trying to talk fancy and be the center of attention in the video
Fake fake fake
How so?
a whole in the ground is NOT A HOBBIT HOUSE 111 thats a dirt b & B big deal boring !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats not very nice. Hope you deal with your anger issues. GOD is GREAT be Blessed🕊🦅
