I think you forgot to mention the fact that the hoppers on the boat and on the control don't match up!! I don't know why they designed it like that!! you would think hopper 1 2 3 4 would be the same on the remote but you have to hold the remote horizontally to match them up which seems very strange!! I guess you will get used to it but why not make it simple in the first place?? I have just purchased this boat and my first impressions are like yours, it is a well made quality bait boat at a great price considering what you get with it and I love the one handed control with the phone holder and you also get an attachment for your deeper thrown in where other company's charge between £28 & £32 for that!! I hope I can use it as easily as you did my friend, my first outing is next week with it so watch this space!! 😉 P.S. Do you simply just put the hook round the hook release mechanism? in the instruction videos I have watched online they do not make how to attach your hook link very clear!! Don't much like the look and size of it Al, but I've got to say, it looks a good piece of kit.
The hook pin not going all the way up, is generally fine as you have your lead pulling it down, so as soon as the pin moves, the hook should release fine. Price wise, I'd say you get the same as the £1600 plus boats, just not the name

I trust all you say, but I'd still like to have a go myself. We didn't get to see it in choppy water, or with a heavy cross wind. I don't know if it's a common thing among bait boats, but I noticed it was quite loud. Not what you want for fishing in those paces that over fished for fish go for a bit of peace.
As with many "old school" fishing fossils, it's not my thing. But before I parted with the readies, I'd want to see the answers to my petty queries.
And I'm a teenie weenie bit jealous. I'd love to play around with one for an hour or two. Beckon that was enormous fun.

Yes it was great fun and it’s not that noisy I think the microphone picks up more noise than it actually is. Nice piece of kit though 👍🎣😀🐒

Yes still fish in there but not as many as 20 years ago unfortunately. Used to be the best tench fishery around. 👍😀🎣🐒

Haha it doesn’t catch the fish it places your bait and rig in places you wouldn’t reach with a rod and very precise 👍😀🎣🐒
This boat needs lots of changes ie only need 2 hoppers,and boat needs to turn on a sixpence also main light not bright enough to see around an island and also get rid of the big Ariel so you can go under trees and snags

Hi buddy, have you had any issues since you bought it and how long battery is lasting?
Hi to be honest I don’t really use it that much for my fishing as I mainly match fish but I’ve had a play and my pal has too no problems and battery life I’ve not run out once since using it. Didn’t take note of how long it lasted. Sorry for been a bit vague 👍
