Thanks for the video. My original Teva sandals with a material type sole are very comfortable, getting near the end of its life as have ad the soles stitched to the missile once, coming apart again. Have worn them around the world. But they get smelly after a while when wet. Now I need a new pair, so these ones look perfect.
My beloved 22-yr-old Tevas have finally worn out. We've had many adventures together, and they've never let me down. I'm looking to replace them with a similar style because, of course, they don't make the same style as mine anymore. I found your review very helpful and will definitely check out the Hurricane XLT2. Thank you!

Biggest issue i have with Tevas... Velcro design a bit bulky and not quick to dry, Velcro traps gravel, tread pattern may trap gravel causing damage to water craft surfaces (boat vinyl, isup, inflatables)

Unfortunately, due to some fellas complaining about the nature of the intro and our own concerns about UA-cam's policy guidelines, we had to change channel's whole branding, including the intro to make it more "appropriate" and suitable for youngsters as well.
With that, we have also changed the absolutely beautiful (to us) intro to a "less exciting one" 🤣 but not that different from the original one. I hope it remains catchy and you like it still. Teva Lite vs Xlt2 the best?
Didn’t had the chance to review the Lite’s but from what I gather online, for hiking I would definitely go with them.
And for daily routines with the Xlt2’s.
The Lite’s seem to me to be more performance oriented with a more serious grippy outsole.
Also the straps are higher quality.

Almost none (US / Europe names)
Slight outsole minimal design difference, but they serve the same purpose

I mostly wear my sandals traditional way and don't wear socks with sandals.

I live in a very small town, and the only local bar has a sign at the door reading, "If you enter this establishment wearing socks with your sandals, you'll be shot on sight!" I hear that white socks, especially, are grounds for hanging.
