I haven't been this early to a video in a long while! But leaving an actually useful comment: this book is ASTOUNDING (I have, in fact, read it front to cover :p ) and cannot recommend it enough!
8:52 Mongoose Traveller 2nd Edition High Guard(2016) has a chapter about Belt Mining(pages 73-80), which unfortuantely was left out in the 2022 update.
This looks fun, I'll order today! The Sector Construction Guide seems to cover some government creation. GURPS Space was regarded for its fidelity to science. The 4th edition was updated with more recent science development.

I don't even play Traveler but I was interested in whats in the book and it's useful for other games.

It looks like rather than generating the system beforehand, you could roll up the Star system as part of actual Scouting gameplay.

I had so much fun with Book 6 Scouts as a kid back in the 1980s. This sounds very cool.

Traveller could use a full dice set
Traveller already has some dice sets. They did one for Mercenaries and a couple others.
Are you going to do a Page 121 Traveller dice set?
I couldn't do a Traveller dice set since I don't own Traveller. I suppose I could do Page121 dice if there was interest.
