I’m planning on only ever getting one bike. I want to get a 600 but I’m worried that the power would be too much. Any advice on what the best course of action would be??

@@samuelmay7716 I would honestly get a Yamaha r3 or Kawasaki 400. Keep it for 6months as long as you take care of it and don’t drop it or anything you’ll most likely make your money back on it. Worse case you’ll sell it for a couple hundred less then you bought it for. Then go up to a 600 get some experience under your belt before a 600. It’s way better and you learn a lot more starting on a smaller bike.

what if i got a 300 abs for a good price and just sold it for basically what i got it for? i would get a 400 but it’s like 2 grand more where I live and if i only am getting it for a starter bike the 300 might be a safer bet? especially if i dropped it or etc. plan on upgrading to a 600 later on but i don’t wanna start on a gsxr lmao

I would go for the r3 over the 300 cause it’s stronger and similar price but a lot of them (2016 and prior) don’t have abs and a dry clutch instead of slipper which i’ve heard is better for when downshifting in emergency. plz let me know what u think!

@@princeneph4544 abs is a hit or miss subject for me. Is it good. Yes. Is it better without it also yes but takes a little more skill and patience to ride a bike without abs in my opinion but the outcome of riding without abs I’d a lot better you have a bigger connection with the bike. As in buying a 300 and getting a 400 there’s barely any noticeable difference between a 3 and 400 cc bike honestly. The Yamaha r3 and kawi 400 are both great options but don’t buy a 400 cuz you think it’s faster or something like that because that’s not the case
