THANK YOU for an east to follow tutorial!!!!
You’re welcome! I hope you enjoy your new lights!
Can you give a link for your cord grips? I can’t find them thanks.
@@9266cakeman there is a product link in the video description.
Well Done!.... Very informative, Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
I've seen many tutos, but your's brought me up to the light. The junction boxes example made it clear and limpid to me. (Tell me should I eat spenach to be as trong as you are at 2:.11)? Thanks a million pale for this great video cession!
So glad it was helpful!
Thank you! No one else answered this question of multiple recess lights❤❤❤
Glad it helped!
Amazing feats of strength.
I like this video it’s super good on how you lay the lights in the ceiling but you can show how to take the fluorescent lights out of the ceiling but good job☺️☺️☺️
Yeah, that ground wire thing really discombobulated my whole flow with this thing. I had no idea what to do, but this cleared it up. Thanks.
Great to hear!
Thank you very much for this. The next project is to remove our fluorescent lights with recessed lights. Looks pretty simple but I’ll contact our electrician friend. (You did make me laugh with your antics). 😂
Nice! Glad you enjoyed it!
Muy buen video Amigo exelente la explicación 👍 saludos desde Glendale,ca
Trying it tomorrow. Thank you! This is exactly my predicament.
You can do it!
Came for the beefcake apparent in the title card, stayed for the extreme athleticism and brilliant mind. Left thankful and fulfilled. I still hate drop ceilings. And, to give back a little for what I’ve gained here, you’ll surely want to upgrade those lights to full RGBWW, the newer ones being amazing, and red lights being best for a theatre.
lol. Thanks, I appreciate it! Thanks for the RGB tip! That sounds really cool and I will look into it!
Thanks! Trying to do this EXACT thing and there are no videos for it. Thanks for providing this
Nice!
Great job man!! Thanks! Going to save me $950!
Awesome! Glad I could help!
I'd like to install this type of light in Sonoflex tiles but the clips crush the tiles. I've installed dozens in drywalled ceilings but not Sonoflex tiles. Any ideas? Thanks.
Amazing video, thank you
I have an existing daisy chained pot lights in my kitchen..Is it possible to add a totally different light fixture (same wattage)on the same chain ? Thx.
Yes you can! You don’t want to exceed the breaker capacity by adding too many new fixtures, but adding one fixture will be no problem.
Did you get any sag in the ceiling panels in the last year due to supporting the weight of the LEDs since these are not otherwise supported?
No sagging has occurred. Everything still looks normal.
How different would this process be if I wanted to add 2 separate lighting zones on 2 different switches in my basement?
It seems like they wire in parallel rather than series when using those connectors. is that okay?
awesome!!
What wire did you use to put these in series? Im not sure how to know what kind of wire to get to do this. Thank you!
14 gauge wire standard.
You can run 14 lights off 1 fixture box?
Yes. These are 10 watt lights. You can run well over 100 of them off of a typical 15 amp circuit.
Specifically, 15 amp breaker x 120 volts = 1800 watts on the breaker. 1800 watts / 10 watts per light = 180 lights.
However, you don’t want to run the circuit at full capacity. Only 80%. So 180 lights x 0.8 = 144 lights (at 80% circuit capacity).
But, you will likely have other things on that circuit as well, so make a few less … but yes, 14 lights no problem.
@ great. Thanks so much
What kind of wiring did you use to connect all the lights in series?
14-2 Romex
@ sounds good, thank you
what size hole saw did you use size on the directions is kind of weird
The instructions said to use a 4.33 inch hole saw, which is 110 mm. I looked into ordering a 110 mm hole saw because it was not available in any stores, but I ended up just using my 4 inch hole saw and it worked fine.
What if they turn on sometime but you have to flick the light switch up and down? Causes?
If you need to flick the light switch up and down, I would start with replacing the light switch.
Nice
why fast forward during the wiring?
I was just trying to keep the peace moving along. It didn’t seem too fast at the time. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I installed these and the controller box gets hot
Thanks for the update!
like this video but prefer not buy the light from amazon always bad quality
