The Shard was the highlight of my trip to the UK. The second was genuine fish & chips in Bristol. Yeah, I'm easily amused. Time for a return trip Cheers, from California
I've actually been to The Shard before, only about 2 months ago.. and I must say, visiting it at sunset was kind of a bad move. If I ever go back to London (it's only like 2 hours away, so i might.) then I'll have to go there during the daytime.
went earlier in march and see nothing..re-booked the friday and could see little more....i now know get the sense of what it feels like to be a blind man in the clouds....i pitied groups around who had paid £200 between them to see a mirror
My opinion about The View from The Shard: why to pay 30 quid if the Sky Garden on the top of the Walkie Talkie, located at 20 Fenchurch Street, is free?
Looks amazing but can't really seem to justify the £25 fee for a ride in a fast lift. I know the view is fantastic but that's all your paying for, going in a lift

Stunning views! Imagine waking up near the top and having that view

I live in London but I wish London could build something even more taller like at least something that's like 360m+ (1180ft +)
Going back there next month for my 2nd day time visit can't wait.
annoying background music....especially on earphones. Anyone doing that please turn the volume to the lowest possible
I'll be on the top in a week :) canna wait for it!! Weird I live in the city and never visited it before.

Wow!

Moral of the story: It’s tall
Terrifying! I’m scared of heights
Very good video by the way :)

Julio Rocha maybe because the Shard is double its height
Why take a flight when you can go by train?
That's about as daft a question.

Background music at the end seems reflecting pain.
+Linkon Shamsuddin The music was an interesting choice!
So the million dollar question: Is the 25£ worth it? If so is it a place to go with your girl as a surprise thing? :P
