No one really sounds like AC/DC except for AC/DC. Despite the music itself being relatively simple blues-based rock, very talented musicians struggle to replicate the vibe even with Brian at the helm. This isn't a knock on Muse, alternatively it's a compliment to the Young brothers, Cliff Williams, and Phil Rudd.
I was there for this weekend at Reading. I’d had an amazing time and Muse had killed up to this point, but I cannot tell you all how much I screamed when they brought Brian on at the end and played this. I thought I was going to have an aneurysm 😂 there’s a video a friend caught of me reacting at that moment and I wish I still had it somewhere because this was one of the greatest moments ever for me!

Ok, so your in your band and playing for a bunch of folks when all of a sudden Brian walks out and you realize how valuable it was to be closet covering Back In Black. Brian is one of the good ones he is.
It was certainly up there. Muse were fantastic that night, one of the best live performances I've ever attended. Brian was so happy to be there, it was a joy to behold the smile on his face when he came on stage and the crowd went nuts! You could see the response really touched him. Great show. Rock n fkn Roll!

Brian had to stop touring to save the little bit left of his hearing. The band had contractural obligations to complete which they were able to uphold thanks to Axl.
