How can Etsy lecture there sellers about Customer Service when their own customer service is absolutely appalling - why dont they practice what they preach !
I have 13,500 plus sales on Etsy, over 1,100 listings, 5-6% average conversion, and 2k perfect 5 star ratings. Yet my traffic is still down over 50% compared to last year. Why would you want to show my shop less if you care about the customer experience and quality listings. Something they’re doing is not working and doesn’t make sense right now and it’s very frustrating.
Same for me visitors are down 50% this year compared to previous years

How hilarious it is to hear someone from Etsy tell me how important customer service is. Tell that to all your customers that were shut down.
They have a new page but actually don’t give us any “visibility” data. They just show us a few listings that need improvement according to a standard they have, not if our products are actually “visible”. It would be neat if they present real data points, like actual general ranking. Also, they are actually showing “less” info now regarding customer service. There message response data used to show the rate as well as how many timely message responses to untimely, right on the screen. They keep pretending to become more “seller friendly” but without really offering any new useful tools.
I had heard if they removed your badges for a final policy violation (which I got and was ridiculous) that they will eventually come back. Have you guys heard of this?
Sadly, you will lose your shop. They remove it and then suspend after a few weeks. That’s what they do.
The developers at ETSY have almost certainly forgotten a comma, a semicolon... in there code, because what they want to present in the videos has no connection to reality. ETSY is no longer the same. Traffic is down by half!
Kindly tells us if someone star seller badge is removed due to policy violation as etsy introduced there creative policies so a lot of seller badges are removed what will happen to them in term search does this effect there search even they have all the badges in customer service stats!!!!
Offering returns on digital products can be challenging for Etsy sellers. In my digital shop, I've had instances where buyers download the files and later request a refund, only to find they've used my designs anyway. From what I've learned, issuing refunds can also negatively impact your shop's ranking. Is this true?
Etsy’s policy for digital products is no refunds for that very reason.
@@shainesmith6691 Good. I have my shop on no refund settings but I’m always afraid not to honor a refund request because they might give me a bad review.
Hiii! Totally random question. Do you think adding translations to your listing helps? I tested my shop and I thought Etsy auto-translates but as I was going through the other languages, it's all in English. Your feedback matters.

I interpret this as Star Seller now has a big impact. This leads me to this question that isn't being answered....how are new shops impacted since they can't even get the Star Seller badge for 90 days. Will they not rank high? If not, they'll never get ahead.
That doesn't make sense.. Why won't they ever rank high enough? Once they start getting sales and they meet the customer service targets then they will get the badges after 3 months..?

Also don't you guys think etsy always bragging about human commerce thing yet they introduced AI system which is destroying seller as well as themselves cause we seller pay them 6.5% on every sale we made so if there is no sale what'll they earn??????

Think of how many livelihoods they’ve wrecked! You and they, including all their staff, should be ashamed!
