Great interview with Steve. It's nice to hear from someone near to my level. I'd love to see a video on brand names. I was told to match them with title and to avoid someone stealing all your designs change them on every design. I like the idea of building brands.
Wow, very interesting thoughts, I really enjoyed this podcast and learned a lot. I remember back in 2023 I was in tier 500 struggling to get sales and now I'm in tier 4000 waiting for tier up. A lot has changed, I learned a lot from you so thank you very much.
@rashelginzburg Amazon Merch on Demand sellers start out in Tier 10, being given the ability to sell 10 designs. When they make 10 sales (theoretically!) they are eligible for an account upgrade to Tier 25, then 50, 100, etc.
For me, this must be one of the most informative interviews you have done with great applicable tips. I love your other interviews as well, but this one really resonated with me. I have applied for Merch 11 times, going on my 12th time now, hoping that I'll get accepted. Thank you for this one, mr. Anders. Greetings from Sweden
Hey Philip, I have a design with various colors like red, pink, blue, and also white, which was created using Ideogram. I need to change the white elements to black (or another color like silver) so that the design is visible on black clothing. What would be the best method to adjust the white for use on dark backgrounds? Unfortunately, I haven't found any videos specifically addressing this problem in your content.
@PhilipAnders I'm tier 20k. Tried ads a few times, but just felt like I was giving Amazon more of my money, so I quit. Maybe I would make even more money by running ads, but I make enough as is to live on and not have to look for other sources of income.
I agree with Steve- this channel is worth to be subscribed. PHILIP IS A GREAT TEACHER! Thanks!
❤❤

A video about brand names would be great. 😊
Great interview!
Please also interview sellers that sell hundreds of shirts per day. That would be interesting!
I have interviewed lots of them in the past ;) More to come though
Was very helpful, thank you ❤

Brother! Can you share some tips? many months passed,I'm struggling to get sales.
What the tier means? Amount of sales per …?

You're right; the videos aren't very new, but they were each significant in my growth as a POD designer and seller. Best wishes!

im in tair 100 remember me in 2 years
I purchased PODCS and I can't get it to work. I emailed them but no answer.
Hey Philip...What was the issue you two talked about...white shirts and designs????
This was like a month ago on Amazon merch I made a video about it
I paid for a year of Flying Research and then... didn't use it. Wasted a whack of money (which is on me). I still have two months left.
Now's the best time to take advantage of it just before Q4. It's not too late!!

Where is he selling?
amazon
98% Amazon. I have Etsy, RedBubble, and TeePublic accounts, but I'm not very active with those.
Seems Amazon is only giving sales to those running ads. When I don't run ads I get zero sales ❤
I don't run ads and still get consistent daily sales.
I got to Tier 10,000 without running any ads

@@PhilipAnders no way
What do you mean by brand name in this context? I lost you.
The brand names in Amazon merch listings
@@PhilipAnders not relevant to Etsy ?
@@rashelginzburg nope
Ye need a youTube channel and of you go.
