In forty years of being passionate about car cleaning, I've never thought of a very important point you made. Nor have I ever heard it mentioned on any other channel, of which I watch too many. That is, black can degrade some LSPs quicker than other colours. Yeah, it's obvious now but it didn't occur to me. I wonder how many others were enlightened with this little piece of info? Thanks mate.
Do your products address water spots? How do you include that in your routine? After the first foam or do you foam twice and then agitate with another product?
Yes. Pure Magic Cleaner will address water spots. Spray onto a towel and wipe product into the surface to remove the spots. If the car is super dirty I will do a second foam and agitate. But only if totally necessary
Okay. I just bought a black car in may. Brand new. Washed in touchless tunnel and touchless wand washing. Will I need to decon, clay it and polish it before I use the gloss boss?
What ratio of yourself would you use if you had a garden hose foamer like the one from harbor freight? Can you do a demo with that for the average car owner who doesn't have a pressure washer
Hey I see in this video b-roll of you using the technician's choice ceramic polish. Do you have a video where you talk about this more? I've used it for years and haven't seen anyone else use or mention it.
I have a few of the ceramic spray. Is that what you’re talking about? Or the polish/compound specifically? ua-cam.com/video/RIC_a2S0PuA/v-deo.htmlsi=KOmvRLNhvWOgG9n1 ua-cam.com/video/HvXp2nEDPLk/v-deo.htmlsi=QMpRsGFoQRmJEHLs ua-cam.com/video/7__ZLlQOSgo/v-deo.htmlsi=qozM8IozlrH2Zhvx Idk why no one talks about it any more. It’s a great product. Lots of popular brands are private labeling it right now.
@@1stfrompuertorico568I have a BMW and a lot of the exterior has black plastic. I do the same thing, I have this 3inch buffer and use finishing polish. Then I follow up with a ceramic coating to help reduce future micro scratches

I would strongly recommend at least a Decon and clay. It will make the install much easier and give you superior results.
Awesome video!!! Btw what's that nozzle you have on your spray gun? The blue one? TIA
Thanks! This one - amzn.to/3z4Uln5

I would start with the same ratio and adjust depending on your results.
What do you think of spray on ceramic - will this work well enough or you think something from a glass bottle is the way to go?
If you have the resources I would go glass bottle then spray. If nothing else definitely the spray
Washing a grey car while talking about not touching the black car while showing a shot of you drying the car by touching it is quite the mind F
Does touching the car when you wash cause the ceramic coating protection to lessen?
it def could.

@@autodetailingpodcast I mean the polish specifically.
I don’t think I ever did any videos on it.
I really don’t have issues with my black paint it’s all that Dam piano black plastic!!!!
Ughh. No kidding. That is worse.
I just polish the piano black finish if needed and just apply a ceramic coating
