I have to say, the first guy with 99 slayer and not 99 melee stats was pretty sick to see. rare to see non nmz accounts, even with iron people
Agreed, although 99 slayer without 99 combats is impressive even beyond that. I've never done nightmare zone besides just enough for some imbues (b ring, suffering, salve, slayer helm) and will probably have all or most 99 combats before 99 slayer.

@@LevRex420 it’s impressive because most people don’t think about total amount of time spent on skills. If you 99 combat skills in nmz and then go 99 slayer later, you pretty much did the skill twice. A person with good knowledge about slayer can get about the same combat xp per hour, if not better, by doing slayer instead of nmz. Yet everyone goes nmz and no one gets 99 slayer. It’s just respect for anyone with more than two brain cells. If you just want to go raiding, you don’t need 99 slayer. If you want a max cape, they way he did it is the way to go.

Post-99 skilling for a pet is not valid unless you’re already maxed imo. If you’re not 2277, you have other skills to train before you can get 40m xp going for the nonexistent pet.

Ok I'm similar found old ACC with 40combat and started grind in 2024 been 3months now I'm base 70-80 done fire cape yesterday:D but im playing like 7-8 h per day shit
You'd prob hate my account, IF you knew how long I'd been playing lol. I've been playing a very very long time, since the start in both RS2 and OSRS and I've never maxed, idk why but it's never been something that's appealed to me. I enjoy levelling a skill to get something out of it that will be useful for me, hence why I have 99 construction, I absolutely love the utility the PoH and cape offers. It's also why my combats are getting close to max, they're useful for me and what I do on my account.
Non-combats, I do them for specific unlocks. Like I will level non combats for quests, clues, shortcuts, achievement diaries, unlocks and general convenience. I will also level non combats if I just feel like doing a bit of WC for example, I'll just do a bit of WC, it's how I've always played the game since I was a kid. Tbf my focus has been more on building my bank value and thanks to some good luck, I am able to have fun in content like solo ToA (I don't have full BiS but I have a Shadow and good enough swaps for range and melee and it's really fun to do). Stuff like Herblore, I do herblore, I do my farm runs, but I don't harvest and replant as soon as they grow and I only use disease free patches, I do not have 90 herblore (almost 87), but I also don't do CoX on farm, I do ToA so that's w.e lol. I did get 94 farming off mainly palm trees, calquats and mahogany trees and boosted to 99 with stews to plant all the spirit trees.
This is the kind of thing I do, I just do what I need to and maybe one day that will lead me to being maxed but I'll be enjoying myself the entire way so it doesn't matter if I get there or not
Im guessing you play other games and have stuff to do OSRS takes many hours to max that's why you not maxed
@@sHaterred-vh7cs Yes, the thing is I never felt any need to max, I have goals to reach to do dif things in the game, maxing gives me nothing I care about lol. Like if I get on OSRS now, I don't go train skills that aren't maxed, I go do raids and stuff. It's all about the GP nowadays and non-combats give basically nothing in comparison to bossing and raids
Why any non iron player would go for higher than quest stats blows my mind. Leme do 4k hours skilling for a maxcape like what..

You are playing game and eventually you getting here after diary req goes master clue req which is 90smth and some skills takes no time to 99but you have a good point
