I might pick this one up as a back up for my Honda ES6500. Costco just started selling this generator, and as always, there return policy cannot be beat. Propane can be stored indefinitely, so that is also a major plus.
This channel is the best! Gavin you are awesome Sir! You are fortunate to have all that power Id love to have one for the family but no extra funds for such so yes you are blessed my friend and great for you! Bless you brother!
Thanks Eroc I’m just trying to share my knowledge and invest in myself at the same time. Crazy times but we gotta keep our head up and stay strong. Hopefully the channel keeps growing and one day I will regain my investment thanks for watching thanks for subscribing stay blessed.

You probably already mentioned it in previous videos, but what are the details of your soft start on your 5 ton unit? Most households don’t have this feature on their A/C.
We get the same machine over here in the UK badged under a few brands. It’s good to see some reviews as there aren’t many out there for this machine. Cheers.
You are forgot to Mention that you installed the Micro-EASY START on your 5-ton... 8000 Watt on Gasoline Surge, but 7000 running watts. 6300 watts on Propane. It goes lower when Convert to Natural Gas
I really enjoy your videos thank you for making them can you please give me the part numbers for the meter box that you made for checking voltage watts and amps or do you have a video on it thank you
Ok so I have a 5 ton ac unit and my generator (Firman H07552) turns on my ac, I also installed a micro air soft start, but the compressor doesn’t turn on. Are you sure this turns on your ac unit completely? Is it blowing cold air?
Sorry to place an Ecoflow Delta Pro comment here since it isn’t exactly that topic, but my question is related to starting a 5 ton AC. Do you believe that a pair of Ecoflow Delta Pro units, connected through the adapter to merge into a 240V 30A outlet, could run you central AC? The reason I ask is because I am interested in such a configuration here. I would also do the soft start and my AC is the same size as yours. If I could run it from a pair of Ecoflow Delta Pro units, then I would use that to sustain the AC and then use two smaller generators to ‘recharge’ the batteries periodically, instead of running a generator full time. I heard there was something about the Ecoflow pair producing different voltage on the two legs that go through the combining device. Also, my AC coil is one thing, but more power also goes to the blower system (also furnace) in my attic. So in terms of circulating the cold air, that circuit in the home also needs to be energized. I assume you are running all that because you feed the whole panel. I was thinking to do a transfer switch and need to remember to have both components on. My design was initially based on a window AC and moving the people in the home into a smaller space. But I more recently started thinking about how to run the central AC.
Don’t feel lost it’s just the same manufacturer, selling their product to different brands and white labeling it adding different features and different inverters
How do you get these generators and now you have like 4 5 of them and if they are free to you I suppose they are being stored away would you ever donate one or sell at a low price for someone needing one ?
Another great video as always, I have a question for you as a home owner. I wanna buy a inverter generator what one would you honestly buy if you were gonna buy one. Which one is the best bang for the buck. I know the one i really like and I’m curious if you would buy the one I’m thinking about. Thank you I hope to hear from you , I definitely trust what you say
@@christurner5473 You'd better have the ability to store a lot of gasoline for a generator that size. As you, local gas stations will probably be closed if there's an outage in your area.

Yes Costco has a great return policy and the fact that you could store propane for 20+ years is amazing. 👍🏾💯

Great comparison, Gavin. Looks like better than 8,000 watt portable generator for me, maybe 2 of them.
Thanks for sharing all your knowledge with us. 👍

Can you do a review on the new Aivolt 10000 watt duel fuel generator
I will reach out to see if they will work with me
Thanks

What's your inrush current with the soft start? I put an ICM870-16A on my 3 ton ac but it's not bringing the amps as far down as I thought.
I haven’t seen anyone that has luck with the ICM soft start
Can't find this dual fuel version online

does the 30a to 50a adapter reduce the amount of power to to the inlet box?
Yes it’s not the right gauge for 50amp
Gavin when are you doing a test of the AIVolt 8000? There are no videos on the internet about it. Thanks, I enjoy your videos.
I’m working on getting the 10k and 8k on the channel for you guys to see the results of the test.
