Thanks for sharing Jacky. I was also brought up in the Exclusive Brethren in Cape Town South Africa. I was withdrawn from in 1983.

There were lots of PB where i lived in hampshire, i always remember my little girl just not understanding why a PB child she played with at school would never speak to her when she was with her mum, the kids were only about 5, it was quite sad really to seperate children at such a young age

I worked for an EB business in the UK from 1989 to 2018. I made a number of very good friends within the EB ranks, although of course they could never admit out loud to being my friend. They are, on an individual level, almost always lovely, caring and conscientious people. It’s only when the dogma from their leaders (such as Kim Jong Hales) is thrust upon them that a switch flicks, their eyes glaze over and they parrot whichever paragraph or sentence they’ve most recently been programmed with.
So sad 🙁 What a waste of good people.
