I got one too, WOW. Been using ultrasonic, then upgraded to a hyperlite/sonic arms beefed custom unit. This is BY FAR the most comfortable and easy to move chesty ive used. protection is there and once the arm foams mold a bit, the arms will be extremely comfortable (I like a looser fit) the arms are a BIT snug feeling but they need working in, but more important they move super easy and no clunky feeling. The belly construction is different from hyperlite 1, for me its much better BUT if your not square and take a hard shot to the gut, i can see a potential stinger and it leaves a bit of a gap.
I’ve been pretty impressed myself so far. I do think it’s an odd choice to not have the arm straps adjustable. Like you say, it’s a bit tighter than I would normally have them, but overall it works for me. I’m a pretty thin guy though. I could see someone with thicker arms finding it uncomfortable.
Just looked into it. It’s been up for awhile but I guess something has recently changed with UA-cam’s license and now it’s blocking the video because I used a song for like 15 seconds at the beginning of it. I’m gonna have to reupload it I guess.
Ok, so I was able to just edit out the little clip before the opening credits that was causing the copyright strike. It was just a funny little opening. Doesn’t effect the actual review part. Anyway, video is back up.
My sales rep at the store said two customers came in within days of owning this and that the arm attachment tab is ripped. The chesty is great but the execution of the tab holding the arms is terrible.
Mine has held up, but yeah, that seems like an obvious weak point. I love the way this thing feels and performs, but there’s definitely some odd design choices from Bauer on it.

I'm following your chest protector process!
CCM eflex 6 chest looks awesome
Been thinking of upgrading to this, looking forward to the full review.
I’ve used it twice at this point and the results are pretty positive so far!
Bold move with the white
Totally agree about pointless to get custom colored chesty
Would love to see side by side with the Hyperlite 1 both wearing and not wearing. Great review btw! Thanks for doing this.
When I do the review after use, I’ll do side by side comparisons.
Can't seem to find your Mach chest protector review anymore. Is it hidden??

Gotta try it on show us the way it looks on the body. Looks sharp tho.
Will do in the review video.
Removable arms means you can wash it in the machine easier.
Makes sense.
