Rudranath Trek ||Most Difficult But Most Beautiful ||Panch Kedar Yatra |Saraswati kund| Fourth Kedar

Among the Panch Kedar temples of Lord Shiva in Uttarakhand, Rudranath Temple is worshipped as the fourth Kedar. This ancient temple of Lord Shiva is located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. Apart from Rudranath temple, other Panch Kedar temples of Lord Shiva worship Kedarnath as First Kedar, Madhyamaheshwar as Second Kedar, Tungnath as Third Kedar and Kalpeshwar as Fifth Kedar.
This temple of Lord Shiva is built in an ancient cave in which the face of Lord Shiva is worshipped. Due to the worship of the face of Lord Shiva here, that temple is called Rudranath. It is built amidst rhododendron and alpine meadows around the Shiva temple, which further enhances the natural beauty of this temple. Like the rest of the Kedar temples, the doors of the Rudranath temple are open only for six months a year.
Rudranath trek starts from Sagar Village (which is 4 kms far from Gopeshwar that is known for it's famous Gopinath Temple) and after nearly 18 kms it ends at Rudranth Temple, the fourth kedar among Panch Kedar temples. Though this trek is most difficult and requires lots of stamina but it is most beautiful trek full of scenic views.
We did this trek in 2 days:
Day 1: we started this trek at 8 AM in the Morning and reached the temple by 5 PM.
Day 2: we took part in aarti and after darshan of Shri Rudranath Mahadev we departed from there at 9 AM and reached back at Sagar village by 3 PM.

@@Mr555krish if lucky, direct buses mil jaegi- Rishikesh to Gopeshwar, else alternative is Rishikesh to Karnaprayag and then from Karnaprayag to Gopeshwar passenger taxi available rehti h.
