I see you got your usual "trinity" for the grill. Nice! I LOVE pike, marinated in Italian Dressing, skin on, and just place the fillet directly on the grill. It's done when it peels right off the skin! SO GOOD!!!!
Give those flutter style spoons way more action! They will "flutter" in the water when you lift them up over a foot, then let them sink back. Perch and walleye love those, but I've caught some nice bluegills on them as well!

Thanks for the tip. I didn't ever do that because I was keeping it in the camera frame. I'll have to try that.
Awesome pike! It topped my personal PB (26.5") from spearing in '24. They taste great once you figure out how to take the Y bones out
I am definitely keeping another one and trying a different cleaning method so I can get as much to eat as possible. Pike is delicious!
Northern are great tasting but a huge pain to clean with all the slime and y bones
