I like the old Diresta. I miss when you use to talk. I miss the vlogs. I liked it when you use to make videos. :).
I might be the only person who has noticed that Jimmy has a nice little watch collection. I request a video!
He has shown them before I’m certain
Wow!! You are so talented! Please wear gloves and mask. Please protect yourself! You are AMAZINGLY gifted and I want you to stay healthy so you can enjoy many years doing what you love to do. Your skills on that box from start to finish - the dovetails, the smooth closures...impressive!! God bless your hands.
Mad skills Sir, I don’t get impressed quite so often.
In 100 years the Diresta boxes will be collectable antiques and only a lucky few will get to have them.
For what it's worth, I like these throw back videos.
You certainly have an eye for quality. You inspire me to keep working with my hands, despite my lack of experience and expertise, so I may one day be even half your level. This channel has been pure gold since day 1, and even before when you were doing dumpster antique restoration.
8:15 looks like a magic trick, very nice !
Nice box! Sooo many nails ... as many as there are stars in the sky. Beautiful!
Как всегда на высоте👍👍👍✊✊✊
worth to watch, full of hacks on every job
Ive seen all your videos and I still love how you show from mind to paper to a thing. Thank you.
Nice build I’ll have to remember that trick to get the doors and flat with the big sanding block
I loved the way those push-button locks closed. Veeerrry satisfying.
Love the super glue hinge trick!
Holy crap I thought we time traveled for a second there. I miss new diresta! Haha
I never knew you could even sew !! 🙄🤫
I like the simple way of holdin the box while you sanded down the finger joints... so obvious & yet I probably would have not thought of it 🤭
BTW... you need to stay off the helium... & the speed 🙄 I tried playing it at 0.25 and u were STILL amped-up 🤨
And NAILS ? my God the nails !!! 🤪
😎👍☘
Beautiful, simply beautiful. Jimmy, your work is awesome.
We should call this 'Reminiscing on the Old Shop' Series.
The Feels.
Good job meu amigo
I love the old style build, Great work!
This reminds me (when you were putting in the small black nails) of a gift my grandfather gave me when I turned 4... It was a "junior" tool set that had real tools resized for small hands (The hammer, saw, pliers, screwdrivers, tape measure etc. were fully capable for a 3yo). It also had all the materials to build a wooden tool box for the tools. Of course you would never see this "toy" for sale for today's kids, but it was a great introduction into tools and woodworking.
Man, love your work!!
love how it closes SHARP !! Beautiful work :)
Love that dovetail method!
Sorry, finger joints.
Beautiful box!

You had me cracking up with the sound of the cars going by. Sounded like the jetsons were driving by. The the belt sander sounded like a dog having a tug of war over his favorite bone. Jimmy Diresta you are always classic new or old Jimmy.

very cool , I really like it very much , details make everything , I learned something from you
Verrryyy beauuuty!
Jimmy, we want to go to our big box stores and buy white battery tools with black DIRESTA on them. You could sell an adapter that will convert whatever battery line ppl are invested in to work with your tools. I know, I just made a video showing how to use DeWalt batteries with Harbor Freight tools. You could do a Kickstarter like Giaco! We want our Diresta tool line, and we want it now!
