We bought our first motorhome 3 months ago and it's been fascinating trying to buy boxes / containers to maximise every inch of available space ! You become obsessed with it !
Kat Mirning. Just seen you in the Matt podcast. Just wanted to reach out n say, you and your channel / website is fabulous !!! Ignore the haters who sit behind their keyboards. One of my favourite channels and I e just bought my 1st MH so love your content. Regards to Mac. Much love. Stefan
Fantastic video - thank you; I am just researching and thinking of doing this; I have never driven a motorhome so feel a little worried but am sure I can do this. So much useful information. I love you dog - he looks very happy. I too found this channel by chance and want to watch more. The reason I want to do this is for the lifestyle and places you can go but also because I need to stay in my home county of Kent quite a bit due to family illness but have a house in Scotland as my husband is Scots; I don't want to keep renting in Kent which I am having to do at present to stay near family and this seems the perfect solution plus we can go places in it. I have two cats but am sure they will adapt. I am trying to persuade my husband about this; I think he is slowly coming round to this. It's a bit step but it feels right. Thank you for this and you video about powering the motorhome - that was so useful. Anyway, I am having a great time looking at motorhomes online and had looked at the Swift motorhomes which seem really nice so this has been really helpful. Thank you so much Michelle
Awesome video Kat! I love the honesty of it all :). A great space to live in with everything you need! We use 'really useful' boxes and packing cubes to keep the cupboards somewhat organised but I can imagine if you are living in your van so much that it could be frustrating ;). Not sure why you need an iron though, haha. Ian
We have the same van and like you found the made up u-shape bed very uncomfortable. It sinks in where the slats are. I see you got your mattress from "my bespoke mattress". Can you tell me which mattress you chose and what the mess are for the 3 sections. It would really help us to know the right sizings as like you we have the coffee table part over the Sargent box. Did you remove that cushion too to fit the mattress section in?? You didn't show that section. Thank you for your help Kat. 😊
Hi Kat. Thanks for the tour around you van. Just a quick question, in your video you mentioned that you swapped out your leisure battery for a Lithium one, why did you do that? And does this have an effect on your insurance? I only ask as so many transport providers refuse to allow lithium batteries onboard. Regards Andy
I've randomly found you. Very enjoyable and informative. :) Cute pup. I have two old cats, which is why I don't want a towable RV. If you haven't chucked the fridge door shelf, maybe you can use stick-on picture hooks, at various angles, (or the sticky tape that comes with them) to get it to work again. I'm hoping to pick up a 19' RV, with rear kitchen and wet bath, next weekend. Anything I really, really want, is either too far away or gone by the time I can get to it. Cheers. Maybe I'll get lucky this time. :) Jon in rural BC, Canada
I am still not sure how one gets clothes & dogs dried out when they are absolutely sodden - you look as if you have loads of cupboard space which is brilliant but in the recent monsoon rains when I was driving the NL250 it was a nightmare!! It needs something hung overhead but where & how?? Nellie would NOT go in one of those drying bags - she even scowls at me if I put her towelling coat on!! Any tips??
One of my favourite things about the van is that there’s a heating outlet into the bathroom. I hang wet stuff in there and it dries overnight if heating is on.
Lovely tour of your motorhome, thanks you have given me some ideas. I have just made a small shelf that goes above my bed for a mug and my mobile phone, some inserts for the shower cupboard to stop things felling out and I’m covering the splash back in the shower room to jazz it up.

What Ecoflow unit do you use?

Very helpful 👌

Some great ideas. I can’t help thinking a declutter is on the cards!
Thanks for sharing.
Tip: Get a convoluted hose to go over your hanging rail in your cupboard. Your hangers won't move then.
Amazing thank you.
Hi. I hope you don't mind me asking, you mentioned a printer for your journal. Which one have you got?
Great video, thanks 👍🏻
Glad you liked it!

Hi Kat, great video.
We keep a diary of all our travels, but your log book looks really really good, can you advise where to get one from , please? ❤
"This is Mac's mat, it's where he tends to stay"
Next clip.. Mac on the sofa! 😂
🤣🤣 he’s a spaniel- he doesn’t stay anywhere too long. And I meant whilst driving- he has the run of the van when we’re parked up.
I was hoping you'd say something about the rear view mirror in the cab. It looks like some sort of camera system Is it standard or an add on?

What inverter make is that please
Hy Kat, thanks for sharing. How do you go about keys. Do you have a hidden location outside or a keylocker outside in case you would loose your keys?
Have you taken the van to a weighbridge?

What happened to the Silwy stuff? Didn't it work out?
Still got it. It’s above the kitchen cupboard where the mugs are. Obviously forgot to mention it- had it so long 🤦♀️ Brilliant stuff.
Interesting.
Glad you think so!
gow did u like ambleside
Hi Kat
Great vlog as we have the same van.
Can you tell me where you got your table top from please? Dont like using the big one. Thanks
Ooohh blimey. From a motorhome bits website but I can’t remember which one sorry.
Hi Kat, your Firestick is the wrong way up!
It’s not complained so far. Maybe it likes it 🤷♀️😉
Nice to see you back. Where have you been?
I’ve been travelling & working on my other projects 🙃
Lovely tour of your motorhome, thanks you have given me some ideas. I have just made a small shelf that goes above my bed for a mug and my mobile phone, some inserts for the shower cupboard to stop things felling out and I’m covering the splash back in the shower room to jazz it up.
Sounds awesome! I’ve been debating doing my bathroom too 🙃
Thanks for sharing all those helpful storage solutions and ideas ! 🙂
You’re welcome ☺️
Best Campervan Video I've seen yet , shows what you can do with limited space, thanks Kat 😃
Thank you! 😊
Thanks for showing us your van. Is there no garage? Wondering where you put chocks?! (Not the eating kind)🙂
No, I don’t have a garage. I do have a back box where I put the bbq & outdoor chairs. Chocks go on the bike rack. 🙃
Brilliant, I'm so nosey lol. Who doesn't want to look around someone's home (motor or otherwise) 😂
