When you start to think about content for us you will start to feel the strain. Just do it for you that is what makes your channel different. We love what you do. ❤
It’s so nice to see people happy with van life and not just talking about the problems. My campervan has changed my life after my wife died and I moved on from a touring caravan which we both loved. Now it’s just one man and his dog and it’s opened up a whole lot of opportunities of being with family and friends around the country. It’s loads better than looking at money in the bank and doing nothing with it. It’s also good seeing you so happy together as a couple.
You two are so funny. I've said it before and keep saying it you are like a breath of fresh air. And continue to do what your doing much appreciated. 👍
The two of you work so well together, highlight of the week is your vlogs. Andrew with reference to your need of toilet when filling water tank, it’s an old man thing, not being able to use shower in van, middle age man thing!! We live full time in our van & the best bit is the fixed twin beds that can be made up to double, wouldn’t be able to cope with making it every night. Anyway keep doing what you’re doing 👍👍
Don’t underestimate how much you two inspire others… after a period of illness I’ve decided to invest in my first Moho that I’m picking up in a few days time. Hope I get as much joy out of it as you guys demonstrate… you have a knack for seeing the positive in everyday things I hope rubs off on me. Hope to see you on the road sometime!
Hi, just been watching your video, are you aware of the rallies that the CAMC and CCC run?? We mainly use the rallies and normally pay around £22pn with EHU on quality sites.
Very much liked your frank video, first watch for us! We have a 6 meter Motorhome with a 'U' shaped rear Dinette so the bed is always made up which is a big bonus! Could do with more storage for bigger stuff like chairs etc! To make them more accessable!
We bought our first caravan in March 23, and a lot of what you're describing here is exactly the way it's been for us. I do all the outside services while my better half sorts the inside. First trip out, we had booked a fully serviced pitch for 3 nights at a C&MC site nearby. Great, except when setting up we realised a) our fresh water hose wasn't nearly long enough; and b) even if it had been we didn't have the right doohickey for connecting to to provide a constant feed to our aquaroll. Ended up taking the aquaroll over to where the end of the hose was, since it was about a third of the distance it would have been to the tap 🙄 Not only that; we had no way of directing the grey water to drain, so we were using the wastemaster just like we would have on a standard pitch. Now, two seasons in, we have a routine going and can be fully set up inside of half an hour if we put our minds to it. And we have a second length of blue hose plus 4m of waste hose - sorted!
Hi. Thanks for watching This is pretty much what happened to us, we thought it would be more straightforward forward but our water wasn’t long enough either. I’d not considered loads of things inside and we had no bottle opener! 😂😂😂 Happy travels
Dear Andy and Claire , i think you probably failed to mention Pablo and Dora in the love of what your doing and the love and laughter of us watching what you do ! We being caravan owners only over the last 2 years and now in our 60's , being able to take our Lab Wally and allowing us to travel all around the likes of Scotland , Wales and many other parts of the UK was the one of main decisions for getting our caravan. Love your videos, sense of humour and of course Dora and Pablo. Will be listening out for that Barnsley accent when you come to South East.
Regarding the Decals I would wait until the summer to remove them. That way you can use the heat from the sun to soften the adhesive. I wouldn’t remove the windows, instead I would cut the existing Decals 10mm around the windows then overlap the new ones over that. The adhesive residue can be removed with tar and adhesive remover, I use an Autoglym. Hope this helps 👍
It doesn’t matter what kind of videos you guys do, you’re always entertaining and informative. I feel like I’ve known you for years. More of the same please 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
New to the channel, thanks for an interesting sum up of your year. We are long time caravanners but bought a little (4.6m) old VW campervan to do the NC500 with our son and his family in theirs. We're retired but we don't get away as often as you, too busy! We use the caravan for trips when we are spending a few days in one location - often off grid and the campervan for touring. To keep the site costs down we use mostly Certified Locations/sites which are much cheaper where possible. most have faciities these days. We've met some lovely owners and campers on them. In the Campervan we've done mostly off grid 'wild' camping.
We have owned a camper van since we were married (33 years ) and progressively moved up a bit bigger and then settled with an old Hymer , campsites are so expensive we don’t use them .We saw the northern lights in Oban 4 weeks ago , each day is a new adventure 😊
What I want from your videos is to see you guys happy, that’s what’s life’s all about. As you get older you think back on the things you’ve done & it’s nice to have these memories. I was/am a car nut, was a founding member in a local 4x4 club then later in life was a founding member in a British car club. Along with building 2 homes from scratch feel privileged to have these memories along with my wife of 53 years!
Really great vlog guys , everyone to their own as I watch vanlifers who park off grid but I really like the fact that you park up on campsites and provide honest views of them , thank you x
Love your vlogs so just keep doing what you are doing, you're naturals. One thing we love about having a van is being able to take our dogs with us everywhere.
Your so right Andy, enjoy life together at every moment, you never know what’s around the corner, life first, work second, take that from someone who used to work 60+ hrs a week, keep up the good content guys, love your vids.👏👏
Hi guys, great vlog. Just wanted to give you the best compliment I can, finding ourselves at Seaton sluice a few weeks back, I was so convinced I’d been there before giving my husband all the historical facts about it, impressing him greatly 😂 it wasn’t until I saw the doll on the swing I remembered Claire’s laugh and realised I hadn’t actually been there before, I’d just watched your video 😂 thanks for taking us with you x
Hi Jane, Claire here. This is one of my favourite comments and it’s made me smile no end. We loved it there 🤩👍 We send you and your husband our best wishes xxx Happy travels
Your channel is one of my favourite channels on UA-cam , the content in your videos is always entertaining you are a really nice couple and both have good senses of humour so you don't need to change anything , and the addition of pablo and dora is a bonus . So keep bringing the content and we will all follow you on your journey. And you should visit the little spa town in Ilkley.
I love watching you both, you individually bring so much to your channel. Listening to Claire’s facts is something I enjoy and the natural banter between you both. I would say to keep doing what you’re doing 🎉
Well done you 2. We have had to sell ours and I am in mourning. Get yourselves to France/Spain this is a whole new experience which we loved in our 10 years of motorhoming ❤
You two are an amazing couple, watched so many of your videos over the spring and summer. Just wanted to say thank you so much for the half hour of relaxing time you give everyone once or twice a week. A lovely channel.
I just got my first motorhome three months ago and I absolutely love it! Best thing I ever did for me and my dog. We're on Coco's Wild Camp, in Wales right now, amazing views, all the fresh air in the world, had a lovely walk up to Water-Break-it's-Neck waterfall (what a name, eh?!) and yes, we do have levellers and are using them to the max right now and I have a fixed bed, too, and wouldn't be without it. Oh, and Claire, chocks is the word you were looking for. Love you guys!
Hi you lovely pair! We’ve been motorhoming since the 1970s, you two are the nearest to the way we do it, always campsites for security!!👍 We share your enthusiasm and love for the lifestyle. Your fun and banter cheers us up so much!! We always look forward to your vlogs! You’re definitely our favourites! Please keep doing it!!❤️❤️ We also watch your biker channel too! Love that also!😍😍 Deb & Bri. Xx
Just don’t change, you’re brilliant, and totally agree live for today, can’t take it with ya, that’s why I’m skint towing a caravan with a camper van. 😊
The best thing about your videos? This is easy guys because the answer is YOU TWO! I genuinely could listen to you talking all day. The chemistry is palpable and so entertaining and Clair is so warm and lovable and you Andrew are her clown prince, charming and funny. Honestly, just keep doing what you do. One area that you may want to consider is the network of canals around Britain because there`s nothing better than the peaceful canal side where `Locks and Long-boats` glide past, where nature is beauty and many a drinking hole with restaurant can be found, I don`t know if it would be possible but parking up in an area close by would be a bonus.. Many thanks X.
New viewer,You are so good together,no wonder your viewing figures are high. When you mentioned about feeling the need to go to the toilet when you filled the tank up with water made me smile and always remembered when footballers who struggled to do a urine test [ for drugs] always ran the basin water taps to help get it out !
We are 16 days away from selling up and buying our van for full time on the road. We will go to so many places you’ve shown us both sites and towns. So we think you’re priceless, doesn’t matter what you’ve spent, look at what you have experienced and shown to others a beautiful way to explore and travel. All wearing no pants!!!! Awesome xx 😂😂😂😂😂
We love watching your videos and style of presentation. Came across you completely by accident when you were in north Wales, area we love and keep going back to. Since then we’ve been avid viewers, both your short trips and your tours and can relate to them totally as we enjoy doing all the things that the two of you do and we’ve done similar trips. We motorhomed for about 8 years, now caravan due to change of circumstances. Difficult to say which we enjoy best. Keep up the good work, you’re brilliant.
I completely agree with everything you just said! Having a Motorhome has completely changed our lives, sounds dramatic but it’s true. Like yourselves mainly go away after work Friday and then longer stays when got hols from work. Soooo look forward to it, keeps me going. Keep enjoying yourselves 😊😊😊
I think we talked about this when we met, our campervan has changed our lives so much for the better and as you say, there really is so much to see and do in just this country. I'm thankfully a living example of how your health can change literally in a heartbeat! I seemed to have had a good heart surgeon, too. Rambling up a steep hill the other day like a mountain goat and Tina was 50yrds back puffin'n panting! I consider myself mended and lovin' everyday in the van.
When you add it all up, the memories are absolutely priceless. Why not spend your hard earned money on your most favorite passion. Liked getting to know you guys a bit more and enjoyed your thoughts. Personally we are away this weekend in York and are looking forward to doing absolutely nothing, just chilling, with quite a few beers...priceless
We began watching your videos for the simple fact that you were visiting a place we are familiar with, however we enjoyed your approach so much that we were captivated. We love the way you seek out the interesting buildings and the history. We are caravaners who had a Motorhome for eight years your videos are relevant to both. BTW the posh voice over giving facts and corrections are clever and funny, we are certain it’s Claire! (Clare!)
The reason I watch is I love seeing all the different places you go but it would not work without both of your sense of humor love you both keep up the good work.
Love your vlogs. I have a camper van myself and love watching you to get some ideas of places to visit. Having a motor home allows to go to places that you would probably never visit otherwise. Keep up the good work.
Don’t try second guessing what we want to see. You two are the USP that keeps me for one, coming back for more, even though Dame Judy may think it’s all her! You’ve explained the limitations of your travels as in, 2hours, 2 days and 2 nights. Then there’s, too wet,too cold, or too windy over the coming months,to add into the mix, a dilemma shared by many of your followers no doubt. I’m sure you can find inspiration to turn all these challenges into entertaining and informative vlogs. But, don’t make a rod for your own back, don’t be afraid to have the odd weekend off. A live Q&A once in a while, would go part way to filling my usual fix, as well as create the opportunity to share ideas, experiences and locations. Last but no least, the odd free beanie wouldn’t go a miss 😂
I don't think we really know the work and sacrifice that goes into the videos, so thank you both. Can't think of outt to recommend that you should or need to do for forthcoming episodes other than, if it ain't broke, then don't fix it.
We watch an unhealthy amount of Motorhome videos and always look out for yours. We got our first moho in May (fixed bed panel van conversion), it and the amount of stuff we have added to it have been an eye watering cost BUT if/when you sell the van you get a big chunk back. So it's not all gone. Like you we only use sites and mostly on grid, but as confidence grows we will look to use pub stops and aires. We love the time way in the van.
We love watching you both, you are so down to earth. We have a caravan and go away every 3 weeks for 5 to 7 days .There are so many lovely places to see .Already got lots booked for next year. Keep enjoying your M.H and making great memories and great videos 🌞🍻
Happy 1st Birthday St Chris of Atlantis Mark 2. We have very much enjoyed you sharing your first year of motorhoming, thank you for taking us along with you. The best thing about your videos is you two & it's as simple as that, not forgetting Pablo & Dora. We look forward to many more, but only if you wish to share.❤
I’d just like to say regardless of where you go we really like you guys.. we like your banter with one another .. you clearly love and respect each other and enjoy what you’re doing … always come away with a feel good feeling … just keep doing what you do …we love it .. ps what about a trip to Runswick Bay … my favourite place in Uk Diane and Mick
Hi Clare Andy . We have the bed that comes down from the roof and we don’t use the ladders . We bring the bed so it’s just off the sofa bottom cushion and take the back cushion off and I then use a step to get on the bed . So easy to get on & off . Julie 4ft 11😊
What a fabulous vlog, love your honesty. Your facts are always informative as well. Motorhomes and campervans are not for us because of health issues and we still prefer to use hotels or Airbnbs as a base, but we still love watching your exploits and all the places you have visited and look forward to your vlogs every week. Going to binge watch your Scotland adventures and maybe get some inspiration for new places to see. Thanks again for sharing and keep up the good work, enjoy your travelling 🙂
We enjoy watching you wherever you take us, i dont get motirbikes, but enjoy watching you both on that channel too. We have same van, we lower our bed right down to seat level and use a fold out step to get in and out, so mych easier than the hateful ladder ! (Dog sleeps under the bed, on the floor )
Brilliant video, we have had ours a year past August. Changed our lives. Just been to Beverley and it was lovely. Would never have gone without our MH. Only £29 a night! Private sites are great. Still don’t like beans in a pot! lol. x
We’ve watched you from the start in your van, we love your sense of humour and the way you come across plus juggle work etc like a lot of us do. If any suggestions I would say bring back van talk loved it🫶take care and enjoy
Absolutely love watching you guys, so down to earth and no bs. Keep doing what you’re doing. Might bump into you if you’re heading to the southeast next year, we are on the Essex coast. Regarding first motorhome, we loved ours but wanted something a bit bigger and like you Andy I wanted a garage. So after 5 years with a Compass Drifter we swapped it for a Burstner 747 and had ‘Bertie’ for 17 years and still love it. Keep up the good work guys 👍
Just be yourselves, we love what you do, this video was spot on and from the heart, what more could we ask for, I love your openness and I agree with not discussing the price you paid for your motorhome as its personal, but all those other figures make sense no matter what your home cost, I sometimes think discussing money is a turn off and can cause division so its best to stay away for that.
You are my husband’s favourite channel. We got ours about 4 months after you & we absolutely love it. We live in Kent & haven’t made it up north yet so we’ve done the opposite to you 😉😂 But thank you both, Pablo & Dora, we have loved your first year 🤗💖
Have loved watching you guys over the last 12 months. Some great tips and ideas for us to do. After 5 years of vanning in our Toyota Alphard we picked up our 6m van last week. Game changer now having hot water, heating and a full sized bed. Off on our travels next week now we can do all year . Keep up the good work❤
Wow this is incredible, Congratulations. Where is your first trip? We wish you long and happy travels 🚐 and hope to bump into you one day 👍 Thanks for watching our videos
We are lucky enough to live on the edge of the Peak District so we are staying local in case we have any issues. Doing Bakewell, Ashbourne, Castleton and Edale. Think advantage of having a bigger van is can move much more easily every day. Don't need the driveway awning so less packing up and can watch the rain in comfort 😂
Awesome Again guys. Herindoors says to get Alian tape to stick stuff down in the van. It sticks really well and can be peeled off easily when you need to move the item you’ve had stuck down. 👍 Keep it lit. 👍🚐💨💨
Absolutely totally agree , we wished we had bought one sooner , love the channel and enjoy the thoughts totally honest , take care , if ever you come to the midlands would be great to catch up talk Motorhomes, dogs & motorbikes ❤
You have created a platform for viewers to see you on your adventures. If we love it or not, we let you know, so if your happy with the comments, you will adapt and were all happy. It's great to see how good you are with each other. Carry on camping.
Very true what you both say about moterhoming ..Ha ha ha My husband have the same problem when filling up the water .love watching you both and dogs thankyou.x
My wife and I did exactly the same and bought our first motorhome 2 years ago and we try go out nearly every weekend, rain or shine, we absolutely love it and I sleep better in the van than at home! A lot of money spent but “You only live once” we said and we haven’t regretted it one little bit, Oh! and by the way brilliant informative video , more like this 🙏
Great video guys, you keep it real and don’t continually push power banks, e-bikes and other junk like so many other channels do. Like you were coming up to the first year of ownership and have absolutely no regrets. We have just booked in to have a levelling system fitted. We went with the Al-Ko HY4 system, not cheap but you get £600 off with your CAMC membership. Keep on travelling and making memories whilst providing us with your down to earth humour.
Love this style vlog as well as the others. I’ve had a van previously and have waited over 15 years to get another as it wasn’t practical with younger kids. Bought a fab one that suits us now but once the youngest doesn’t come with us anymore we will go fixed bed van with a garage. Not a fan of moho’s personally as I feel closed in. Love opening the door and having the outside in. We have had Norbert Nugget (Ford Nugget Plus) for 12 months and it has been the best year exploring. I use it daily too as my runaround. It really is horses for courses. I’ve had ten, trailer tent, caravan, van, tent, trailer tent and now van. Camping has changed so much over the years and it really helped in choosing what we needed and not getting overwhelmed with the choice out there. I started with non negotiables and then would likes. 5 seatbelts, sleeps 4, low enough to get under barriers, fits in a parking space. Then toilet, kitchen, storage, set up time etc. hey never used to be a thing. Cooler boxes and using a stream if there was one for cooling milk and beer. Buy fresh everyday etc. Keep up the good work.
I think you have done the right thing by having the motorhome now and not waiting until you retire, you don't know how fit you're going to be, also try the rallies next year with the camping and caravan club , there's a part called out and about you find them there. x
We have a camper and you described being in a camper perfectly!! It is cozy. I love winter camping too. My husband put an electric "fireplace" in ours and sitting looking out is so cozy!!!! The campingbug bites!!!!❤❤
We love watching you both. Just keep enjoying yourselves and do it for yourself first and foremost. We had a similar layout burstner for four years and have compromised now on length for fixed beds....game changer, especially with two small dogs. Also got the garage for the bike. Happy travels ❤
hi guys , just stumbled across your channel . Enjoyed this video as you both seem down to earth and normal ! Not always a given on UA-cam 😂 Two yrs motorhoming for us ( wife & kid ) and love it. Fixed bed is a winner 👍
Always knew id enjoy having a motorhome. We had a VW camper with 5 berths when the kids were at home and we went all over - mainly to do memorable walks (including dragging our kids up the 3 peaks and others such as striding edge/Helvellyn). When they left we got a Fiat based van and now go all over the UK and europe, in all seasons (I love winter camping with the heater on and the weather swirling around the van!) . I keep it at home and love having it in a state of readiness to just spontaneously run away somewhere for a weekend break in a remote location. Best decision ever, regardless of cost.
Keep it all going we love a watch and enjoy a bit giggle with you. If ya ever fancy a over night cheap trip pop to Seaton carew and we’ll buy you a pint in our local.
10 out of 10 video made us laugh,,, ours keep beating the last one,,,, current at a 10 😂😂😂 the Greek trip is a no alcohol on board so we can wild camp but until then,,, foster still present, your dedication is admirable❤
We are in our very early 70`s and have a 7.5m motorhome, single beds (or big double but would involve that ladder problem) and we love it. Also have a small bike that fits in the garage 🏍😁 , and yes I watch your bike channel too (test passed 2 years ago). I have to agree with all your findings, being in `your` home, rain on the roof, warm and cosy etc. We like the freedom of going to a place, seeing it then going somewhere else to see that. We rarely spend more than 2 nights anywhere. As far as suggesting where you might go, I would highly recommend Ireland and obviously Europe, France is motorhome heaven. To put cost into perspective I have friends that like cruising, they maybe do 2 or 3 cruises a year and see a lot of places .... briefly, then they have to get back on the boat, they can`t stay for another day 🤷♂ Keep doing what you are doing and when you`ve seen it all .... go a bit further from home.
Love being in our van, but its far too easy to have a beer ah, but to hell with it beer time soon lol. First time on a site in ages. great site in York and a pub on site that is also dog friendly. Winner.
You can please some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time, just keep doing what you are doing you seem so natural and relaxed and with your banter and Clare's giggle makes for really enjoyable viewing 😊keep up the good work.
Love the video, Missus and me have really enjoyed it, Andy. You're funny, but Claire is another level but saying that she is from Sheffield and everyone knows we're the funniest Yorkshire people 🤣 👍🤣
We're exactly the same as you, in our 40's, no kids, and bought a 6m motorhome a year ago and we have loved it!! And yes, we're always the youngest motorhomers on the campsites. Keep up the fantastic videos!
enjoyable & informative as ever ! out of interest, shortly about to pick up our new 6m Motorhome up that has a fixed (French style) bed, but still has a decent dinette area
Well done for 12 months of brilliant content. Just think, could you go on holiday so often without the motorhome & it's cost £75/night. And you get to take the dogs. And you get to see some amazing stuff. As you know, we love watching your adventures. P, N & the boys ❤
You look good for 62, Would you consider hopping over to France in the motorhome some channels are doing this, We would make you very welcome, its nice that you been so open with your running costs. Please go to Tenby in Wales and around the cost you will love it,
Hello. We would like to visit France next year so I’m looking to plan that 👍👍 We made a video on Tenby and loved it, we had a great look round. The video is called SOLD if you look through 👍👍👍
Love love love your videos guys - your honesty and transparency is so visible. You are so caring as well and it’s so evident how much you value each and every one of your viewers. So glad we found you. You have inspired us to take the leap and buy a MH and we are now loving the dream thanks to you both xxxxx
We watch you everytime, you should visit, what is called the best view in England, it's called Sutton Bank National Park Centre in north Yorkshire, near Hambleton on the A170, it's absolutely amazing, you'll love it, keep up the good work guys and doggies ❤️
Well done on all your videos this year and even though we have been Caravaning for over 30 years you have still managed to give us ideas, we only use CLs now as the cost of club sites is ridiculous and most look like car parks, although we have found and used some cracking private sites most half the price of club ones. We have been all around the coast of Britain over the years but can still find new places to visit. Keep up the good work.
We've booked for a place called Bargoed Farm in Wales. Each pitch has a hot tub, so we'll see how we get on with that😆. We're not just fine weather campers either, love it when we're all cunchty cozy & watching the rain or snow through the wondow. Aaah, bliss. Keep doing what you do best, thanks again
Hiya guys, fiona here.... Worth every penny & so many fabulous memories made... Glad to hear 2 of the best were in Scotland 😊 2 of our best this year are the introduction to Fidden Farm & Madri 😂
Love watching your vlogs. We've caravanned for over 30 years and are enjoying our extended trips now we've retired. We use alot of CAMC CLs, rarely do we go on club sites unless no CLs in the ares. Being from Yorkshire, find they are a bit cheaper!!
You guys are so normal - in a good way. Your authenticity, sense of humour and positivity towards the places you visit are wonderful 🙂
Love this, thank you ❤️❤️👍👍
You need it to work 4 yourselves first and foremost that's the only way you'll be able to keep it going, you need to put yourselves first imp 🙂
Brilliant guys, keep it up.👍
When you start to think about content for us you will start to feel the strain. Just do it for you that is what makes your channel different. We love what you do. ❤
Thank you ❤️❤️👍
It’s so nice to see people happy with van life and not just talking about the problems.
Hi. Thanks for watching our video
We are sorry to hear about your wife. We send you and your dog many happy future travels in your campervan 🚐❤️👍
You two are so funny. I've said it before and keep saying it you are like a breath of fresh air. And continue to do what your doing much appreciated. 👍
Thank you so much!!☺️
The two of you work so well together, highlight of the week is your vlogs.
This made us laugh 😂😂😂😂👍
Thank you for watching and supporting us
Don’t underestimate how much you two inspire others… after a period of illness I’ve decided to invest in my first Moho that I’m picking up in a few days time. Hope I get as much joy out of it as you guys demonstrate… you have a knack for seeing the positive in everyday things I hope rubs off on me. Hope to see you on the road sometime!
Hello. This is awesome.
You must let us know how you get on and where your travels take you to 👍👍👍👍🗺️ Drive safely and keep positive x
Hi, just been watching your video, are you aware of the rallies that the CAMC and CCC run?? We mainly use the rallies and normally pay around £22pn with EHU on quality sites.
@t11cky we haven’t been to any but need to 👍
@@Stchristopherofatlantis oops, I wrote that in the wrong place!! 🤣
Very much liked your frank video, first watch for us! We have a 6 meter Motorhome with a 'U' shaped rear Dinette so the bed is always made up which is a big bonus! Could do with more storage for bigger stuff like chairs etc! To make them more accessable!
Hello welcome to our videos
You guys are great together. Love your sense of humor. Always look forward to your videos. 😊✌
Thank you so much 😁❤️
The videos I like best feel like you're doing your thing & you've invited us along for the ride, this video where you're chatting with us is one such.
Hi. We loved to read this, Thanks 👍👍
Ended up taking the aquaroll over to where the end of the hose was, since it was about a third of the distance it would have been to the tap 🙄
Not only that; we had no way of directing the grey water to drain, so we were using the wastemaster just like we would have on a standard pitch.
Now, two seasons in, we have a routine going and can be fully set up inside of half an hour if we put our minds to it. And we have a second length of blue hose plus 4m of waste hose - sorted!
Hi. Thanks for watching
This is pretty much what happened to us, we thought it would be more straightforward forward but our water wasn’t long enough either. I’d not considered loads of things inside and we had no bottle opener! 😂😂😂
Happy travels
@Stchristopherofatlantis Oh, one thing we definitely had was a bottle opener .... it's all about priorities! 😂
I really do love the dogs too, they are fun and no trouble.
Hi. Wally sounds fabulous 🐾
Thanks for watching and supporting us on our channel 👍👍👍👍
Regarding the Decals I would wait until the summer to remove them. That way you can use the heat from the sun to soften the adhesive.
I wouldn’t remove the windows, instead I would cut the existing Decals 10mm around the windows then overlap the new ones over that.
The adhesive residue can be removed with tar and adhesive remover, I use an Autoglym.
Hope this helps 👍
Hello. Thanks for watching and this guidance 👍👍👍👍
Edwardian bedding co at mexborough are good for mattresses we had one custom made for our caravan.
Thankyou 👍
It doesn’t matter what kind of videos you guys do, you’re always entertaining and informative. I feel like I’ve known you for years. More of the same please 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome! Thank you!🙏
New to the channel, thanks for an interesting sum up of your year.
Hello and welcome to our channel
Your campervan sounds epic, we wish you a fabulous time. We loved the NC500, cannot beat the beaches 👍👍👍
We have owned a camper van since we were married (33 years ) and progressively moved up a bit bigger and then settled with an old Hymer , campsites are so expensive we don’t use them .We saw the northern lights in Oban 4 weeks ago , each day is a new adventure 😊
We have only drive through Onan for the ferry and we want to return, it was so quaint. Happy travels to you both 👍👍☀️☀️
What I want from your videos is to see you guys happy, that’s what’s life’s all about.
As you get older you think back on the things you’ve done & it’s nice to have these memories. I was/am a car nut, was a founding member in a local 4x4 club then later in life was a founding member in a British car club. Along with building 2 homes from scratch feel privileged to have these memories along with my wife of 53 years!
Hello. How are you? The. car clubs sounds fab 👍👍 Have a great day and thank you for watching our videos
Really great vlog guys , everyone to their own as I watch vanlifers who park off grid but I really like the fact that you park up on campsites and provide honest views of them , thank you x
Thanks 👍 We really should try some off grid park ups 😂😂🚐🚐
@@Stchristopherofatlantis be carefull of any 'doggin' areas around Barnsley though. 😁
😂😂😂😂
A bespoke lifestyle you can’t buy off the shelf.. you evolve into the traveller you become. Inspirational blog diary guys.
Hi John, Thankyou for this 👍❤️
Not boring really love your travels and chat thanks both
Awesome, thank you!
Love your vlogs so just keep doing what you are doing, you're naturals.
One thing we love about having a van is being able to take our dogs with us everywhere.
Yes we think this too 👍👍👍 happy travels
Don’t change the way you do your videos, do it for yourselves and have fun as you have been doing. Really love the channel.
Thanks, will do!👍👍👍
Your so right Andy, enjoy life together at every moment, you never know what’s around the corner, life first, work second, take that from someone who used to work 60+ hrs a week, keep up the good content guys, love your vids.👏👏
Well said! Thanks very much for watching 👍👍
We loved it there 🤩👍
We send you and your husband our best wishes xxx Happy travels
You two are lovely man.
Thank you kindly! 👍👍
Thank you so much 😀👍👍👍👍
I love watching you both, you individually bring so much to your channel. Listening to Claire’s facts is something I enjoy and the natural banter between you both. I would say to keep doing what you’re doing 🎉
Thank you so much!☺️ 👍
We go away pretty every weekend during the summer. The biggest downside for the Mrs is keeping up with housework 😉
Hilarious 😂😂
Well done you 2. We have had to sell ours and I am in mourning. Get yourselves to France/Spain this is a whole new experience which we loved in our 10 years of motorhoming ❤
Oh no we hate to hear this and send you our best wishes xxx
You two are an amazing couple, watched so many of your videos over the spring and summer. Just wanted to say thank you so much for the half hour of relaxing time you give everyone once or twice a week. A lovely channel.
Thank you so much!!☺️
I just got my first motorhome three months ago and I absolutely love it!
Hi. Thanks for watching. Your first motorhome sounds fantastic 👍 we have heard of Cocos and will be going one day, the nature looks great. Enjoy 👍👍🚐🚐
We have enjoyed all your videos. We have a caravan and I find I relax more in the van than at home.
Sounds great! 👍
Xx
Thankyou for watching and your brilliant comment 👍👍👍 happy travels and we hope to bump into you
@@Stchristopherofatlantis We would LOVE to bump into you too!!😍😍
Just don’t change, you’re brilliant, and totally agree live for today, can’t take it with ya, that’s why I’m skint towing a caravan with a camper van. 😊
This made us smile. Life is for living 👍
Hope you are ok
Hi. Thank you for this Kevin ❤️
Love the idea of boats, sounds right up our street. Will look at this 👍👍 have a great evening
New viewer,You are so good together,no wonder your viewing figures are high. When you mentioned about feeling the need to go to the toilet when you filled the tank up with water made me smile and always remembered when footballers who struggled to do a urine test [ for drugs] always ran the basin water taps to help get it out !
Hello and a big welcome to our channel 👍👍
We are 16 days away from selling up and buying our van for full time on the road. We will go to so many places you’ve shown us both sites and towns. So we think you’re priceless, doesn’t matter what you’ve spent, look at what you have experienced and shown to others a beautiful way to explore and travel. All wearing no pants!!!! Awesome xx 😂😂😂😂😂
Hello Jayne, How are you? Let us know how you get on with your travels 🚐👍
Any help with sites we’ve been to just let me know xx
@ will do! 😊
Good Luck to you, enjoy the Journey.
Love it when you chat from your van. ❤
We will do more of it 👍👍👍👍
We love watching your videos and style of presentation.
Welcome to our channel and delighted you watch 👍👍👍
I completely agree with everything you just said! Having a Motorhome has completely changed our lives, sounds dramatic but it’s true. Like yourselves mainly go away after work Friday and then longer stays when got hols from work. Soooo look forward to it, keeps me going. Keep enjoying yourselves 😊😊😊
Hello. 👋 we agree it is life changing and it has certainly done that for us 👍👍👍🚐
I think we talked about this when we met, our campervan has changed our lives so much for the better and as you say, there really is so much to see and do in just this country.
Great to hear you are mended ❤️👍
I dont think you need to change much..
Your informative abiut the sites and towns
But best of all your down to earth and funny
Keep it up 👍👍👍
Thanks for that 👍👍👍👍👋
When you add it all up, the memories are absolutely priceless. Why not spend your hard earned money on your most favorite passion. Liked getting to know you guys a bit more and enjoyed your thoughts.
Personally we are away this weekend in York and are looking forward to doing absolutely nothing, just chilling, with quite a few beers...priceless
A chilled weekend in York sounds fabulous
Enjoy it 👍👍👍👍
We began watching your videos for the simple fact that you were visiting a place we are familiar with, however we enjoyed your approach so much that we were captivated. We love the way you seek out the interesting buildings and the history. We are caravaners who had a Motorhome for eight years your videos are relevant to both. BTW the posh voice over giving facts and corrections are clever and funny, we are certain it’s Claire! (Clare!)
Hello it’s not Claire, it’s Dame Judy. She insisted 👍👍😂😂😂😂
The reason I watch is I love seeing all the different places you go but it would not work without both of your sense of humor love you both keep up the good work.
Thank you 👍👍👍
Love your vlogs. I have a camper van myself and love watching you to get some ideas of places to visit. Having a motor home allows to go to places that you would probably never visit otherwise. Keep up the good work.
We are happy we give you ideas of places to visit 👍👍
Hi, Thanks for this
Send your questions… we will do one 👍👍👍👍
I don't think we really know the work and sacrifice that goes into the videos, so thank you both. Can't think of outt to recommend that you should or need to do for forthcoming episodes other than, if it ain't broke, then don't fix it.
Thank you 👍👍👍
We watch an unhealthy amount of Motorhome videos and always look out for yours.
Hi Barry, Your UA-cam vanlife video addiction made us laugh 😂😂
Thank you for watching 👍👍❤️
We love watching you both, you are so down to earth.
We have a caravan and go away every 3 weeks for 5 to 7 days .There are so many lovely places to see .Already got lots booked for next year.
Keep enjoying your M.H and making great memories and great videos 🌞🍻
That is awesome! Hope to see you on the road 👍👍👍
Hi Diane and Mick, Runswick Bay sounds great 👍👍👍
Hi you 2 😊 lovely natural video, showing the down to earth people you are, always enjoy your videos whatever you decide to do 👍
Thanks so much! 😊
Hi Clare Andy . We have the bed that comes down from the roof and we don’t use the ladders . We bring the bed so it’s just off the sofa bottom cushion and take the back cushion off and I then use a step to get on the bed . So easy to get on & off . Julie 4ft 11😊
Hello 👋 claire here and I need to get a little step 👍👍👍❤️
What a fabulous vlog, love your honesty. Your facts are always informative as well. Motorhomes and campervans are not for us because of health issues and we still prefer to use hotels or Airbnbs as a base, but we still love watching your exploits and all the places you have visited and look forward to your vlogs every week. Going to binge watch your Scotland adventures and maybe get some inspiration for new places to see.
Thanks again for sharing and keep up the good work, enjoy your travelling 🙂
Hello. Thank you for watching our videos, glad you enjoyed 👍👍 Scotland is fantastic. We totally love Scotland 🏴
I think we need to get a step as well 😂😂😂😂
Brilliant video, we have had ours a year past August. Changed our lives. Just been to Beverley and it was lovely. Would never have gone without our MH. Only £29 a night! Private sites are great. Still don’t like beans in a pot! lol. x
Beans in a pot really should be illegal 😂😂😂😂😂 happy travels 🚐👍
We’ve watched you from the start in your van, we love your sense of humour and the way you come across plus juggle work etc like a lot of us do. If any suggestions I would say bring back van talk loved it🫶take care and enjoy
It’s the rant it’s the rant it’s the rant of the week 😂😂😂😂
@@Stchristopherofatlantis😂😂 it was brilliant, bring it back bring it back ❤
Absolutely love watching you guys, so down to earth and no bs.
Bertie sound awesome 🚐🚐❤️❤️
See you on the south coast 👍😂
Just be yourselves, we love what you do, this video was spot on and from the heart, what more could we ask for, I love your openness and I agree with not discussing the price you paid for your motorhome as its personal, but all those other figures make sense no matter what your home cost, I sometimes think discussing money is a turn off and can cause division so its best to stay away for that.
Hi 👋
You are my husband’s favourite channel. We got ours about 4 months after you & we absolutely love it.
We live in Kent & haven’t made it up north yet so we’ve done the opposite to you 😉😂
But thank you both, Pablo & Dora, we have loved your first year 🤗💖
Hellooooo your husband has great taste 😂😂😂👍👍👍
Have loved watching you guys over the last 12 months. Some great tips and ideas for us to do. After 5 years of vanning in our Toyota Alphard we picked up our 6m van last week. Game changer now having hot water, heating and a full sized bed. Off on our travels next week now we can do all year . Keep up the good work❤
Wow this is incredible, Congratulations. Where is your first trip?
We wish you long and happy travels 🚐 and hope to bump into you one day 👍
Thanks for watching our videos
We are lucky enough to live on the edge of the Peak District so we are staying local in case we have any issues. Doing Bakewell, Ashbourne, Castleton and Edale. Think advantage of having a bigger van is can move much more easily every day. Don't need the driveway awning so less packing up and can watch the rain in comfort 😂
Awesome Again guys. Herindoors says to get Alian tape to stick stuff down in the van. It sticks really well and can be peeled off easily when you need to move the item you’ve had stuck down. 👍
Keep it lit. 👍🚐💨💨
Great tip! Thankyou 👍👍👍👍
Absolutely totally agree , we wished we had bought one sooner , love the channel and enjoy the thoughts totally honest , take care , if ever you come to the midlands would be great to catch up talk Motorhomes, dogs & motorbikes ❤
Thanks for watching 👍👍 Happy travels
You have created a platform for viewers to see you on your adventures. If we love it or not, we let you know, so if your happy with the comments, you will adapt and were all happy. It's great to see how good you are with each other. Carry on camping.
Thanks for that!👍👍👍
Very true what you both say about moterhoming ..Ha ha ha My husband have the same problem when filling up the water .love watching you both and dogs thankyou.x
Exactly!!👍 😂😂
My wife and I did exactly the same and bought our first motorhome 2 years ago and we try go out nearly every weekend, rain or shine, we absolutely love it and I sleep better in the van than at home!
A lot of money spent but “You only live once” we said and we haven’t regretted it one little bit,
Oh! and by the way brilliant informative video , more like this 🙏
Yeah this is the same as us! Rain or shine!
Thanks for watching 👍👍👍
Great video guys, you keep it real and don’t continually push power banks, e-bikes and other junk like so many other channels do. Like you were coming up to the first year of ownership and have absolutely no regrets. We have just booked in to have a levelling system fitted. We went with the Al-Ko HY4 system, not cheap but you get £600 off with your CAMC membership.
Keep on travelling and making memories whilst providing us with your down to earth humour.
Hello. Let us know how you get on with it 👍👍👍👍 We won’t be doing any sponsorships unless it’s Madri 😂😂😂
Hello Thanks for watching and happy travels to you 👍👍👍
I think you have done the right thing by having the motorhome now and not waiting until you retire, you don't know how fit you're going to be, also try the rallies next year with the camping and caravan club , there's a part called out and about you find them there. x
Hi 👋 We haven’t done a tallow so yes we plan to next year 👍👍👍
We have a camper and you described being in a camper perfectly!! It is cozy. I love winter camping too. My husband put an electric "fireplace" in ours and sitting looking out is so cozy!!!! The campingbug bites!!!!❤❤
That is awesome! Fireplace sounds ace 👍👍👍
We love watching you both. Just keep enjoying yourselves and do it for yourself first and foremost. We had a similar layout burstner for four years and have compromised now on length for fixed beds....game changer, especially with two small dogs. Also got the garage for the bike. Happy travels ❤
Sounds great!👍
hi guys , just stumbled across your channel . Enjoyed this video as you both seem down to earth and normal ! Not always a given on UA-cam 😂
Two yrs motorhoming for us ( wife & kid ) and love it. Fixed bed is a winner 👍
Welcome to our channel ❤️❤️
Live for Friday afternoon finish work and then away till Sunday...❤
👍👍👍👍☀️😎
Always knew id enjoy having a motorhome. We had a VW camper with 5 berths when the kids were at home and we went all over - mainly to do memorable walks (including dragging our kids up the 3 peaks and others such as striding edge/Helvellyn). When they left we got a Fiat based van and now go all over the UK and europe, in all seasons (I love winter camping with the heater on and the weather swirling around the van!) . I keep it at home and love having it in a state of readiness to just spontaneously run away somewhere for a weekend break in a remote location. Best decision ever, regardless of cost.
We feel like you and enjoy the winter. It’s so fabulous. We hope to bump into you on the road one day ☺️☺️🚐
Keep it all going we love a watch and enjoy a bit giggle with you. If ya ever fancy a over night cheap trip pop to Seaton carew and we’ll buy you a pint in our local.
Hi. We went to Seaton Carew mid summer (it rained! Boo) but we loved the promenade, had the most fabulous time there 👍👍👍👍
10 out of 10 video made us laugh,,, ours keep beating the last one,,,, current at a 10 😂😂😂 the Greek trip is a no alcohol on board so we can wild camp but until then,,, foster still present, your dedication is admirable❤
Hello to you both 👋👋❤️❤️
thank you both for the past year and for showing us some amazing places 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching
To put cost into perspective I have friends that like cruising, they maybe do 2 or 3 cruises a year and see a lot of places .... briefly, then they have to get back on the boat, they can`t stay for another day 🤷♂
Keep doing what you are doing and when you`ve seen it all .... go a bit further from home.
Hi there. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Your van sounds awesome. Andy would like a garage for a bike 😂😂😂🏍️
We wish your happy and long travels 👍👍🚐🚐
Love being in our van, but its far too easy to have a beer ah, but to hell with it beer time soon lol. First time on a site in ages. great site in York and a pub on site that is also dog friendly. Winner.
Pub on site!! That’s always a winner
It’s just great to watch you two enjoy yourselves
Thank you 👍
You can please some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time, just keep doing what you are doing you seem so natural and relaxed and with your banter and Clare's giggle makes for really enjoyable viewing 😊keep up the good work.
Thank you for this 👍👍👍
Love the video, Missus and me have really enjoyed it, Andy. You're funny, but Claire is another level but saying that she is from Sheffield and everyone knows we're the funniest Yorkshire people 🤣 👍🤣
Claire here. Oh yes, It’s a well known fact about us Sheffielders 😂😂😂😂👍
@Stchristopherofatlantis 👌🤣
We're exactly the same as you, in our 40's, no kids, and bought a 6m motorhome a year ago and we have loved it!! And yes, we're always the youngest motorhomers on the campsites.
Keep up the fantastic videos!
Hello. Let’s hope we bump into you on a campsite one day soon 👍👍👍 Thanks for watching.
enjoyable & informative as ever ! out of interest, shortly about to pick up our new 6m Motorhome up that has a fixed (French style) bed, but still has a decent dinette area
This sounds great! Enjoy your new van and we wish you many happy travels 👍👍
Another great video.
What a lovely couple you are.
Thankyou for sharing both channels. 😊
Thanks for watching 👍
Well done for 12 months of brilliant content. Just think, could you go on holiday so often without the motorhome & it's cost £75/night. And you get to take the dogs. And you get to see some amazing stuff. As you know, we love watching your adventures. P, N & the boys ❤
Hello Peter and Nicky.
How are you? Thanks for watching and supporting us all this time 👍
Love to Bert and Rufus 🐾🐾❤️❤️
You look good for 62, Would you consider hopping over to France in the motorhome some channels are doing this, We would make you very welcome, its nice that you been so open with your running costs. Please go to Tenby in Wales and around the cost you will love it,
Hello. We would like to visit France next year so I’m looking to plan that 👍👍
We made a video on Tenby and loved it, we had a great look round.
Thank you so much! We love love it
How are you? ❤️
We watch you everytime, you should visit, what is called the best view in England, it's called Sutton Bank National Park Centre in north Yorkshire, near Hambleton on the A170, it's absolutely amazing, you'll love it, keep up the good work guys and doggies ❤️
Hello 👋 thanks for this recommendation, I’ve made a note of it as we haven’t heard of it before 👍👍
Just enjoy being yourselves. we enjoy being with you. And I watch your bike journey, being a biker for 50 years.
I’m out on the bike later. Loving it 👍👍
Love your videos. You are a fabulous double act and it’s a pleasure to watch your adventures each week 👍🏻
Thankyou
Well done on all your videos this year and even though we have been Caravaning for over 30 years you have still managed to give us ideas, we only use CLs now as the cost of club sites is ridiculous and most look like car parks, although we have found and used some cracking private sites most half the price of club ones.
We have been all around the coast of Britain over the years but can still find new places to visit. Keep up the good work.
Hi. Thanks for watching 🐾👍👍👍
Subscribers have told us about this and it’s hit some great reviews 👍👍 Enjoy and let us know how you get on
Pink and Blue jobs definitely work so you’re not tripping over each other on arrivals and departures. We divide up to inside and outside 👍
It really works doesn’t it 👍👍
Love it, your so down too earth.
Thank you 👍👍👍
Hiya guys, fiona here.... Worth every penny & so many fabulous memories made... Glad to hear 2 of the best were in Scotland 😊
2 of our best this year are the introduction to Fidden Farm & Madri 😂
Whoop whooppppp ❤️❤️❤️❤️👍
Love watching your vlogs. We've caravanned for over 30 years and are enjoying our extended trips now we've retired. We use alot of CAMC CLs, rarely do we go on club sites unless no CLs in the ares. Being from Yorkshire, find they are a bit cheaper!!
Hi. We did need to visit some CLs 👍👍
Great video, where was your favourite place to visit during the year ?
Ooooh we will answer this in a Q&A 😂👍
Heads up on the ladder.. pipe lagging and cable ties .. works a treat 😮
👍👍👍😂
