One of the Worlds greatest song by the Worlds Greatest Band. Ever! Great job, Biz. Kudos my Man! AND Yes, it was David Gilmour singing. Watch them do this live at the Pulse concert.
You need to see this one LIVE!! 🥰 I would suggest you watch it from the PULSE concert along with “SORROW” Both are amazing 🎼🎸🎤 BTW that’s David on the Lap Steel Guitar 💙
AMEN! Sorrow gives off an epoch feel. High Hopes expresses youthful wonderment giving way to the the crushing responsibility of maturity. Poignant and deep. Love them both. Both versions as well. Pulse and originals.
This song was absolutely played on FM rock radio when this album came out... Extensively. FM Rock plays album cuts, not just top 40 single releases. That's pretty much how Pink Floyd and other classic rock artists got their name. Also, David Gilmour has been the sole lead singer of Floyd since Roger left in '85. Surprised you didn't recognize his voice. Classic Gilmour. The live Pulse version of this is 🔥.
Pretty significant shot at the end of the video where Pink Floyd's founder Syd Barrett's statue was being carried. The odd visuals was something the original Pink Floyd did since the music video for 'Arnold Layne' in 1967. This was one of the best songs David Gilmour had composed and sung after Roger Waters (bass) had left Pink Floyd in 1984.
I saw them LIVE on their Division Bell tour at Foxboro Stadium, Mass. May 19, 1994. It was absofu*king amazing! They also played Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Wish You Were Here, and my fave The Great Gig In the Sky, and others... it was life changing! Flying pigs 'n all! 🐖🐷🐖 God, I ❤ Pink Floyd!
I noticed you haven't reacted to any of the Animals album. Dogs, Pigs, and Sheep. They're all brilliant and deep songs. Also, the second half (or parts 6-9) of Shine On You Crazy Diamond is a must. I actually like the second half a ch more than the first half. Anyway, there's no such thing as too much Pink Floyd, imo. ✌🏽💜
I love this song but it stirs up way too many feelings for a casual, middle of the work day vibe. I had a beautiful, exciting, and wonder filled childhood. I really wish my kids could have the same type of experiences I had but the world so different now. This song is a powerful reminder of what is lost. ------hope---- remember when the future was going to be amazing.
The Pink Floyd guys never cared about trying to put out singles! They did to an extent when they were very young and that was the popular thing to do. However they would rather put out music, something that they enjoyed themselves rather than some bouncy pop song!! And whenever they would write a song it would be as long as it had to be to finish it to their satisfaction! In fact they're great song Echoes started out as 26 pieces of nothing. They came up with a whole bunch of short pieces of music and finally strung them together the way they sounded right and came up with a master piece they called "Echoes"!!
Biz The Reaction Boss - Thanks, Biz, for always coming full force with great music and great commentary and expressing your views. Your hard work is appreciated by so many.
Appropriate title album with the departure of Roger Waters. The Division Bell was considered to be one of the most dynamic sounding albums. For many years it was used by some at SoundOff competitions and car shows. ✌️ 🤠🏞️🐂
Man u been one of my favorite reaction channels for a few years, i always enjoy how open & present u are with what youre listening to. U really seem to genuinely appreciate good music. Respect. Keep it up!
The live performance on the PULSE concert is a MUST! This is one of the most truly lovely songs ever. " The dawn mist glowing"..... gorgeous.
One of the Worlds greatest song by the

Love this song, but then I can't think of a Pink Floyd song I don't love ❤

One of the very best of the Post Roger Waters era Pink Floyd. Keep up the fine reactions, Biz’!

This- definitely!
Pulse is good but not this good, sometimes you gotta keep it original lol
AMEN! Sorrow gives off an epoch feel.
High Hopes expresses youthful wonderment giving way to the the crushing responsibility of maturity. Poignant and deep. Love them both.
Both versions as well. Pulse and originals.
One of my faves
Hi Biz., I was wondering if you reacted to Pink Floyd Pulse Concert, Sorrow, from 1994? The whole concert is spectacular, light show, music, vocals!
I recommended it a while back. I don't think he has yet. Hopefully soon 🤞
I haven’t done that one yet

What a way for a band to go out on. Last track from the last album. And yes, the Endless River is disregarded
Please check out the LIVE version of High Hopes from the PULSE CONCERT. You will enjoy it!

One of favorite Pink Floyd songs. Love this entire album! You should do more from it 👍

One of my top 5 PF songs!!
That one he an impact, great reaction. Yes Gilmore singing, and playing lap steel guitar. Pulse version in extraordinary also.
Just the best.

Biz , brilliant indeed .
Cinematic excellence at a high level .
A great song by really Gilmour, another reason why the Division bell is my favorite album they got
Biz The Reaction Boss - Thanks, Biz, for always coming full force with great music and great commentary and expressing your views. Your hard work is

Div Bell , a ery underrated Floyd album, many beautiful songs.
Bro, you gotta listen to the live version from the Pulse concert. I'll be waiting. Peace!
The division bell can be taken as the feud between David and Roger.
Now try some of Pink Floyd’s lesser known, thinking man’s songs:
The Gunner’s Dream
The Final Cut
When the Tigers Broke Free (lyrics)
The AOL live version of this is awesome!🔥
Appropriate title album with the departure of Roger Waters.
The Division Bell was considered to be one of the most dynamic sounding albums.

COP THAT YANKY 🙃🇬🇧🙃🇬🇧🙃🇬🇧🙃

Thanks fam 🙏🏿
This isn't really Pink Floyd it's David Gilmour. Pink Floyd does not exist without Roger Waters period.
Total bull.
Some folks would say it don`t exist without Sid.
@@puncht37 Right? I mean we can play this game all night. Ridiculous.
Why? Gilmour is a great guitarist but a shit lyricist@@flubblert
