My wife has a GT and when she drives it conservatively, she gets 285 miles of range. Worst so far is still 225 miles. Makes a great daily driver as it also charges extremely fast too.
Great review👍 I’ve had one of these for 9 months and it’s the best daily car I’ve ever owned. It’s blisteringly fast when you want, handles really well and at £59k is good value. The range is fine for what I use it for, I’ve only charged at a public charger 3-; times and the KIA charge card makes it really simple, just tap and charge no lightning in or downloading apps. It also charges really fast when you do use a public DC charger. I will not be going back to petrol now.
OK I have a GT and in the front trunk I have the screw in tow bar, the puncture repair kit and spray can, and the tyre pump, the Vehicle to Load adapter and the charging cable, which just about fits. It is miles better keeping this stuff in the front, where you can always easily get it, rather than leaving it underneath the floor in the rear trunk. You can guarantee that when you need any of these things, you will have to excavate six suitcases, three soft bags and a set of golf clubs BEFORE you can get the charge cable. (Of course all the excavated stuff gets put on the ground outside the car in the RAIN....)
Actually the rear seats recline a fair bit, but when you drop them for luggage space, and then raise them again, they first go to that upright position you mentioned. However if you pull the side lever you can then recline them, losing a bit of rear storage.... however that then makes the rear view mirror view better as well. I keep them reclined unless I am taking rear passengers
