Luke you're such a massive inspiration for me. I've been following since the A1 days. Don't forget to stop once in a while and look back. There is always someone with a more special, faster, more expensive car, so it's important to compare yourself not to others but to yourself a few years ago. It's incredible how you went from an A1 and even a Cayman 981 to a freaking 992 GT3...massive congratulations and I wish you many happy kilometeres
@Seayin There is absolutely *nothing* "easy" about getting a new 911 GT3 these days or in the past 3 years. I've been on a waiting list since mid-2020 for an allocation and I'm not a new Porsche owner. I've owned half a dozen Porsches in the last 8 years. Nothing easy about getting one at all regardless of how UA-cam videos may make it seem so.
Your authenticity is your secret sauce. So happy for your well deserved success.

@@carswithluke I remember the first video of yours that I watched was your video on the last-gen Porsche Panamera, and every video since (special shoutout to your Best of the Alps video, for sentimental reasons I get emotional every time I watch it as I grew up skiing in Lech) has been a singular pleasure. You really do deserve every kilogram of the GT3, Luke - never underestimate your ability and the impact you have on people's lives. You have an incredibly bright future ahead of you, of that I am certain.

Having someone drive 18 hours to see me would also mean the world. Sometimes family members don't go an hour to see someone, so it's impactful to know that a stranger would do it. It puts things into perspective that cars are great, but the impact on others is more significant. I am a first-time viewer, and now, after seeing this a subscriber. Great video!
The gt3 is also one of my greatest dreams to have. Just like you, for me it's also more the just a car. It's a trophy and symbol that you are capable of achieving something and making a purpose out of yourself. Hopefully, I can do the impossible once I graduate. My focus now is how I can shape my future through hard word and generous studying in high school. Through perseverance, I will be able to do this. Thank you Luke, been with you for a long time now.

Congrats Luke. Well deserved for sure! 4 years ago today is when my 997.2 Gt3 was delivered. Couldn’t drive it because of the snow, but spent the next 5 months in the garage just looking at it. 4 years later I still look at it the same.

Damn it! You nailed it as always. I started following your channel a few years ago when you participated a Jon Olsson team member contest with a short video. You had an Audi S1 at the time. It's amazing to see how hard you're working and what a huge progression you've made not only in what you're driving, but also what content you're producing. You are a huge inspiration for me!
Luke enjoyed listening to your story. In a lot of ways it mirrors mine. Car guy who moved from home with not a lot of money, with a lot of hard work (and some luck) is able to purchase a car that suits your life style. On 10-24 I took delivery (at the BMW performance center) a 23 X3 M40i. Having just retired (only 51), it was a gift to myself. We have a lil one so I need the space. Just means she’ll get to soccer a lil faster than her teammates.

This was such a special video for me because I felt it when you said you came to Switzerland with nothing and worked your ass off for it. This is brilliant, all of it! I mean the car is fantastic no doubt, but the emotions behind this video in such a perfect landscape just stamped a huge smile on my face.
As a new super proud owner of an AMG GLC 63s (yes I got myself an old MY just for the v8), watching this video just felt like looking myself into the mirror a few weeks ago when I eventually picked up the car I had been dreaming so long about.
The excitement, the amazement and all the recollection in those moments when you look back and think “is this really me?”
Honestly I think this is the second video I watch from this channel but it just made me so happy that I’ve subscribed and hope to be watching many more to come.
