Finally.! I've been waiting for someone to do a henna video about applying bright red henna on medium to dark brown hair. Your final result looks very similar to mine after I do a full head application, and yes it glows a beautiful crimson red in the sun.! Your color is beautiful. I would never go back to chemical dyes , henna is IT for me. My hair has never been so healthy. Enjoyed this video so much, thanks for posting. oh and PS. i have the exact same hair clips as you. Good taste! lol
Try using citric acid, apple/aronia juice or acerola instead of lemon, as lemon will dry out your hair. You should wash your hair before applying henna. After using henna you should wait 48 hours before shampooing. Hope this helps ;)
Lemon is so drying. Add Aloe Vera powder. It works wonders in your mixtures. Helps the hair to retain moisture after your application and helps to intensify the red tones.
WOW! Your hair is sooo gorgeous! Been trying to find a video of a Latina girl with dark brown hair using red henna & your hair color is very similar to mine. Now I can get an idea of how the red henna might look on me. I was originally going use light brown henna but now that I’ve seen your results I reallllllly want to try the bright red henna! Think I’m going to do it! Thank you for this video you’re absolutely beautiful!!
Girl. Former professional hair model here. It's Noticeable! 👄💃🌹🍎❤️🥵🍒🚨💄🔥💥 I'm white platinum and le'tired of it! 😅 I always go red before back to black or brunette... It's a ritual! It suits you and it is very very Noticeable even indoors!
I’m about to do it!! I spot tested one with a tinnnnyyyyy splash of vinegar and another plain so now we wait:) I’m using the fox dye to kind of keep on the safe side as this is the first time I’ve dyed my hair!! Thanks for the video, my hair is as dark and I’m glad to see that’s there is a good amount of tint to yours so mine will hopefully work out!
omg i love the results! my hair is dark brown almost black and i never dyed it before, i was planning on dyeing my hair in 2019 when i went to the salon they said i couldn’t bc i had henna before ): so i cut out henna completely for 3 years and now i want natural red hair exactly like this! i’m gonna try it(:
Thank you for this video. I wanted to try henna for some time now because my hair is thin and from what I read henna might make it a bit thicker. However my hair is naturally dark brown with some medium brown highlights, especially during summer, so I was kind of worried about the end result. Your video disintegrated all my worries because I am in love with your end result. Thank you again for posting this.
No longer coloring, but was a red head on and off from age 13 thru late 40s! Your hair turned out beautiful!! Watched cause, well makes me feel less lonely and makes me smile. I posted today too!!
It came out so pretty! I haven't had red hair in a long time and can't use any color for a while so this was lovely to watch. It looks great with your coloring and texture! Also, I cannot believe in all my hair coloring years I've never seen/heard/thought of rinsing outside lol! I know it's not always possible due to plants/animals/lack of outdoor space but I never thought of it and it's brilliant!
Just a quick tip it’s better to put apple cider vinegar because lemon can dry out your hair telling you from my experience. I’ve been using enough since I’ve been using it since three years ago
Love your color!!!! I recently started incorporating henna into my hair routine. I just use it as a gloss to give my hair a pop of color and keep it strong and healthy! You should check out Henna Sooq next time you do it again I like the Rajasthani henna the best it gives burgundy tones 💕
Looks fabulous! lol 😂 and your super hilarious! I have medium dark brown and always did the boring dark brown (lion box) and want something different and vibrant, like what you did with your color using the bright red. I couldn’t decide which red to pick, bright red, red, burgundy…so many choices with light mountain. (I also like the wolf on the box never saw that one in the store, only on Amazon) I think I’m going to go for it. Hopefully it does not turn out red like a color crayon 🖍️
Thats about how mine looks. My hair is about the same color as yours except super curly. I can only see my henna in the light too. Adds a nice tint glow tho. My hair feels super soft and curls nice after so i don't mine less color if i mess up.
Came out great, thank you. I didnt realize you could leave it on for only 4 hrs and still obtain your results. Most henna users reccomend longer henna sessions like 24 to 48 hrs, Ima like 🙄 yeah, no can do for that long....
😍 That is gorgeous and very close to my natural hair color. I’ve been dying my hair due to grays and I miss my red highlights. 😔 My mom is a redhead so it’s a piece of her.
meh i got the product you used because my hair is the same color as yours was, maybe a tad darker. but the instructions say to expect 'no difference' on dark brown hair? it came out wonderfully on you though so i will still give it a try
Thanks for your video. I have been using henna and indigo for many years. I was looking into using this exact color, but had no idea what it would look like. I am going for it!!
I feel like I'm looking into the future of my 11 year old. You both look similar and it's amazing. She has very thick curly hair like you do same eyebrows too except hers is still untamed (shes my brown-hair Merida
Our hair is a similar colour so I have given up trying dyes because I couldn't get it bright so I thought the answer would be witchcraft! Looks so pretty xx
Dear LORD...baby Jesus... my new saying LOL. It makes me happy to see you again. I also use the red henna for about 2 years, mine comes out Lucy Ball red. But it suits me because I am so fair. (And I dress vintage... so people yell at me "LUCY you got some spaining to do" all the time) All the ♡ in the world Wen😍 4got....it came out great, plus henna thickens your hair so it's a double plus xoxo
My hair is lighter brown than yours and still the the red didn't show up as bright 😭 what specific henna do you recommend and any other tips to get a more vibrant red colour?
Im so thankful for this video! I have dark brown hair and I am planning on using Henna, I got the Fox one thats just "Red" I was gonna sk if you've tried it but then you just answered my question in the video lol. Did you still get a pretty good red tint with it?
Hi Vicky, do you know how long it takes for this specific color to fade away? And of course, I'm taking into account the amount/procedure you used 😊 This color suits you really well!!
You look amazing. I have darkbrown hair but have marronish red henna right now (I did it this summer) Would my hair be more red if I used a copper red henna next time I dyed it ?
Lovely as always! I am just the laziest person about my hair so I haven't dyed it in 12yrs lol (Also I made the upcycled shirt this summer! Mine has fat straps tho to hide my stupid bra. 🙄)

Amen screw the chemical does !!! I love henna so much it’s making my hair so thick and shiny and it doesn’t break anymore
This is exactly what I was looking for I love it ❤❤❤ turned out beautifully 😍 and henna is a really good healty option love it
The rinsing outside is life changing

Those are some good tips! 🤗

Would apple cider vinegar be too much? I know people often wash or rinse with that.
@@sahpem4425 yah I wanted to ask this too, if Apple cider vinegar is good to be used in the mixture.
Should I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner or just shampoo?

It looks beautiful! I could tell you had great results from the indoor lighting too.
Hosing your hair off outside is ✨genius✨!!!! ❤️

Did the side with vinegar looked different than the one without it?
Any updates?
Really loving the way your color came out.

I love seeing this, as this is likely a technique Cleopatra used on her dark hair to turn it Auburn/cover greys!

Does henna give that red color on very dark brown colored hair? Or just natural brown hair?
Ese color esta muy hermoso!!
Put a lot of moisture in your henna hair and it won t break anymore!

Thank you so much for sharing this! 🥰
doing this tomorrow! wish me luck
Aaah, good luck!!
Hello!!! Can we use normal pure henna powder and get this red color??? Or could we add beetroot juice to it??
I appreciate your video !! Thank youuuu
Don't microwave water that's dangerous be careful ❤️
I read somewhere if you put it on your skin it can cause scarring. Has your scalp suffered any damage from applying?
That’s interesting, no I had no reactions and have never heard of this!
I loooove this colour
Thank you thank you so so much!!! 💓 beautiful
♥️Gorgeous 😍And BEST name ever 🤗♥️
Goals 👏👏👏
You look amazing. I have darkbrown hair but have marronish red henna right now (I did it this summer) Would my hair be more red if I used a copper red henna next time I dyed it ?
ur so pretty and funny loved it
Very pretty! 😍❤
U look great
How long did you let the henna sit for in the bowl before putting it on your hair? and for how long did u leave it in your hair? thank you
How long will this stay?
How many hours I have to keep it on my head before washing it to get this
what is red henna? how is it different from normal henna?
How long does it take to come off ?
Lovely as always! I am just the laziest person about my hair so I haven't dyed it in 12yrs lol
(Also I made the upcycled shirt this summer! Mine has fat straps tho to hide my stupid bra. 🙄)
Woah, that is long haha! And omg, I'm so happy you made it, I'm sure it's super cute!!!
How do I get it to go darker red, i tried yesterday and my hair is kind of gingerish and i want it to go that darker red 😢🙏
Add beetroot juice instead of plain water
@@Funny_bunnygags thank you, I'll try it

Do u put it on ur eyebrows?
