SD Charlie Marchese is a Clinical Anatomy fellow on Kansas City’s KCU Campus. Before attending KCU, he completed his bachelor’s degree in environmental sustainability and his master’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Northern Colorado where he also played Division 2 College Hockey. His current research projects include cadaveric projects at KCU, Bone remodeling studies with the Children’s Mercy department of Orthopedic surgery, and pain control protocol studies with the Children’s Mercy Department of General Surgery. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, and his dog boomer. He is an avid hockey fan and hopes to match into an orthopedic surgery residency with interests of sports medicine or total joint reconstruction.
