    Aristotle was the greek philosopher who the Catholic Church appreciated the most, specifically through the work of St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Bonaventure in the 1200s when Aristotle's works had been translated. I can send you St. Thomas's commentaries on a lot of Arstotles works if you're interested.

      Yes. Aquinas "baptized" Aristotle & ushered in the renaissance. The renaissance was much more Christian than is widely acknowledged.
