Arnie Tex is my go to for Tex Mex recipes. Salsas, beans, carne, etc. today’s superbowl spread will consist of many of his dishes.
Kenny thank you I am honored to hear that, enjoy the day and the food, cheers
What brand of blender are you using
Me too
We made salsa one year that had 6 Serrano peppers, 6 jalapeño peppers, 1 habanero pepper, and a ghost pepper. It was amazing, had a great flavor with a little bit of heat up front then it hit you with the heat in the throat. It would make you sweat but you could not stop eating it because it was so good.
Should call it Salsa de Diablo 😂
I just tried the creamy habanero salsa and WOW, is it AMAZING! Arnie as always your cooking methods are sure fire. This time, with plenty of fire! Thanks to you , I make amazing beans, caldo, rice, salsas, breakfast plates and the list goes on. Always love your videos, your sense of humor, and I love it when your mama or your wife chimes in.
Mexican and TexMex cuisines are my absolute favorite! I put salsa on just about everything....Italian dishes, pizza and of course, Mexican food! I like it HOT. There is _always_ salsa in my fridge waiting for me to dig in with tortilla chips, Mexican rice, refrieds or anything else I think it will be good on.
Thank you for these recipes! Gonna make some! 😋🤤
Good thing I watched this before I left to the store. I... WAS going to buy salsa for The Big Game today BUT now, because of this amazing & easy tutorial on salsa creating... I'm going to hand make my salsa this year for my friends & family. Thank you, Boss for another wonderful & delightful video. Stay majestic, stay humble... remain badass, Sir.
Shoulda skipped the Superb Owl cult show
@@JuniorFarquar: Ummm, o..... k.
I'll need to try these. My favorite thing with habaneros is just chopped habaneros and sliced white\yellow onions pickled for an hour in the fridge with salt and fresh lime juice. I put that shtuff on everything.
03:00 Receipt number 2 looks perfect for me. I happened to have extra jalapeno and serrano peppers.
05:13 looks amazing as well. I might have to make this as well...
I can’t wait to go and grab some habanero and make these salsas 😋 the spiciest salsa I’ve ever had was the green habanero salsa in Mexico. It was just crushed green habanero in small chunks and seasoned with a lot of fresh lime and salt. It was amazing!!
One salsa I make often when I grow them is with ghost, scorpion , and reaper peppers. Very hot but good! ❤🔥🔥🔥🌶🌶🌶
I’ll bet. I grew some ghost and trinidad peppers 🌶️ and habaneros. Habanero and ghost were my favorites. The Trinidad scorpions were of the chocolate variety and I couldn’t do anything with them. It was awful.😂
I love this channel its so wholesome
Love the creamy salsa, mine was a bit too runny so I cooked it down for 15 mins then used it for a wing sauce.
Absolutely love the 3rd version!!! ❤
thanks for the videos, Arnie. Keep it up, love all your recipes specially the salsa ones
Arnie brings the heat and that authentic method right to your kitchen. These videos are priceless. Thank you Arnie ❤️
Awesome video, Thanks for making it!!
Arnie I love your videos your salsas are right up my alley ! Thanks for sharing man !
Looks great! I’ll be giving them a go this week hopefully!
Arnie love those salsas thanks and like always god bless you and your family
The third one looks awesome! Thanks! And they all do.
Those look delicious AF! Thanks
Great stuff. Can't wait to try those recipes and tastes them.
Thank you Arnie! ❤❤
Watching these come together makes me want to get out into the kitchen right now! Yum!
Think I'm gonna make some Arnie-asada with the middle salsa for superbowl
Love it , arnie asada 😂😂😂
Fresh always best👍, every summer I have to make large batches to bottle, learned a tiny tiny bit xanthan gum is perfect, holds them together, I've had many separate until xanthan gum, can't add too much, well can but be toothpaste lol. Made large batch ghost and scorpion peppers, garlic, onion.. did some with tomatilos, was too insane, took over year to give away and use lol.
Watching Arnie at 1am when I have trouble sleeping is just what I needed to go to bed thanks Unc ❤😴
#3 is a prank queso for your enemies! 😈
Yeah he’s solid.
Bro absolutely love you! I love super spicy texmex and you're the king of it.
I don't think I could handle that, because it looks very spicy. I'd need a lot of milk afterwards. The salsas still look great. Cheers, Arnie! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
This guys recipes are incredible
can't believe salsa 3 wasn't a queso. mind blown!
The third salsa looks just like a salsa from Taco Guild in Phoenix. It’s my favorite, definitely going to make a batch!
Came for the habaneros, stayed for the final creamy salsa! That looks so great I need to make it tomorrow! 🤤
Salsa #3 is my all time favorite!!!!
Arnie you're my absolute new favorite creator 🥰
Dude, you really need to pay someone to help your channel! You are awesome!
The 3rd one is new to me and can’t wait to make it.
The Salsa King!
Dude !! - You were born for Lube-Tube - Luv your on Cam Vibes !!
The orange habanero salsa is hot. I love it I get it from a Mexican restaurant I go to. If you taste it it’s kinda sweet then your on fire 🔥. Now I know how to make it. Thanks Arnie
Chingon Arnie! Everything you make always looks amazing 👏
I make a mango habanero salsa that is to die for and always the first to go at a party! Love the heat!
Yep,definitely can't do the scovill units of old! Thanks.
Cheers from San Diego, ca. love your stuff man
I grew up in SoCal, then Houston before I moved northeast when I was 17ish.. I have been missing that TexMex feel out here where I live now, so I have taken to making it myself. I would belying if I did not say that Arnie is the first guy I look up when I am trying to find out things to make :)
Cool, I think I like the first, fresh, 🍀
you my brother are a joy to watch
Well done, I just made a Carolina Reaper Pico de Gallo and it was amazing! Only one caution, don't eat on an empty stomach lol.
Looks like good stuff definitely trying this at my next carne asada
Love some habeneros! Grow them now as well... Salsa is hot enough when it makes me have slight heat hiccups and makes me sweat a little under my eyes! 😂 Love the videos brother!
❤all Mexican food my fav but💕💕💕💕💕habaneros can’t make my sofrito without them yum!
My dad would combine all 3. My dad once made some that cured my head cold & cleared my sinuses. And all i had was a tiny bit on it. He used a lot of habaneros that & he ate all of it. I made some that was hot but I didn't use habaneros, I used jalapenos(fresh & dried) I called it the Devil's Chili. Also when my dad made his he put it on everything, salad, spaghetti, potatoes & eggs, everything.
A local restaurant has a Habanero salsa that is absolutely delicious. I don’t know if they even offer it on their menu, I asked if they had any hotter salsas one time and they brought me a tiny bowl of this bright orange deliciousness. I have to get a bowl now every time I go in there.
True Texan! Love those salas
😊 I had pico de gallo with habanero once. It was so good I couldn't quit eating it. My mouth hurt so bad I have never eaten it again. But, it was delicious. ❤ love your channel.
Arnie this is my favorite love salsas defiantly hot one's bag a chips and I'm good
Appreciate you Arnie, my pico game is on point!
One of my favorites, I made a fermented ghost chili sauce - ghost chilies, salt, cider vinegar. I cooked it outside, had a yellow jacket dive bomb it, and it added its own flavor 🤣
I don't like hotter than ghost, but habanero is fantastic. Cayenne is one of my favorite all-around chilies, with ripe serrano and Fresno being high on my list.
That sounds amazing!!!!
On my journey of hot peppers, I have gone past the Habanero pepper to the Carolina Reaper. Lately I have putting habanero sauce on my omelet in the morning or later in the day.
I grew some Chocolate Habaneros this season so I’ve been using them for salsas. They taste like the original orange habanero but twice the heat. Makes for a great salsa if you like it extra hot
Add oregano to your habanero salsas, life changing!! ❤️ 💪🏼
Love your videos arnie keep it up man shouts out from H town
Buenos días Arnie ! My son in law is Asian and let me tell you they make a salsa that is incredibly hot !!! They use red chili’s ( japoneses) , cilantro, and fish oil or oyster sauce, blend and it’s ready.
In Nashville, a pizza place called Five Points Pizza has a habanero cream sauce that looks just like the creamy salsa you made. Try it on pizza if you’d like - it’s amazing!
Hey Arnie, I loveeee that tatemada style! I will typically use apple cider vinegar for a different taste, and add some mangos or blueberries in with the habaneros. Goes very well with fish or pork but I put it on everything!
I’m thinking I will have some mixed of the first two salsa’s!
Aaaah man, i wish i could meet you and cook some different salsas and tacos together. Love your videos!
These look delicious mate, cheers 🍻🍻🍻from Australia
Cheers my friend
your channel is great. You remind me of my Mexican grandpa who would always make Mexican food with salsas all the time especially his salsa verde with avocado.
Ps. Hottest salsa I ever had was Carolina Reaper from myrtle beach South Carolina
I few years ago, I grew my own peppers. I had habanero, Chocolate Bhutla, Yellow Scorpion, and tabasco peppers. I was making a salsa to test friends and coworkers, so I had at least 6 of each in the skillet with a few tomatoes, some onion and garlic, and a little oil. I was fine, but when my wife woke up on the other side of the house she started choking as soon as she got out of the room. That same day she ordered me a camp single burner and informed me that I would be cooking salsa outside from then on. 🤣. The salsa was good, but Very hot!
I've still got three bags of habaneros in the freezer from growing season. I've made similar salsas to the first two, but I'm definitely gonna try out that third one sometime soon, that looks rad.
Amazing…Gooder…I am Going to try…going to store to buy supplies…trying to recreate my Grandmothers Taste from My boyhood! Grandmother was old school Spanish who passed in the 70’s but as a boy of the 60’s I remember she grilled on cast iron plate on stovetop & mashed in a molcajete and made a waterey salsa she called”chili”. As a Boy it was Hot!
Never have I tasted that”chili” flavor except about 20 years ago went to a whole in the wall giant burrito shop & one time their “salsa was so different…Just Like My Grandmas…went to manager and asked who made the salsa …it was so great! The manager said they had an old Hispanic lady who came in once a month and she made “her” recipe batch of salsa… that lasted about 5 days…I said I needed the recipe…manager said…no recipe… she makes a batch by memory…won’t be back until next month…tried two other visits asking for her…no luck tracking down…the other salsa recipe at the burrito place tasted like boring salsa off the shelf from Walmart…
My mother is now 84 and Never Learned recipe…never cared.
No other family alive…tried dozens of off the shelf…no where close…gone to hundreds of authentic Mexican restaurants in my life…NONE even close…
I Hope yours might be close?! P.s. I love watching you and your mom. You remind me of My Family as a Boy! Take Care!!!
I love it when my friends coincidentally leave their sunglasses at my place. It's very convenient, haven't bought sunglasses in 10 years.
I've made the first raw salsa like six times already since this video came out. The entire bowl is gone in like 20 minutes every time.
Great salsa recipes. You could print a book on just you different salsas. Thanks.
I made me some salsa today, it's got a kick to it but needs more habanero and I put a little too much black pepper but I can't stop eating it
I've made something similar to #3 but instead used extra virgin olive oil. It's a nice additional flavor.
I feel like Habanero (and Scotch Bonnet) is the best of the "hot" peppers. I love that sweet fruitiness you get up front, followed by the slow, building heat that takes you right to the edge of "I don't know if I can handle this", but then it shows you some mercy.
Of course, a little Reaper every now and then is fun for the high it produces, but "enjoyable" is not exactly an adjective I'd use to describe it. 😅
that third one looks amazing, whats the blender you use that thing obliterated em.
I think the creamy one would be great with honey. Chip, honey and then fire sauce. Yum
NOTHING BETTER THAN REAL HOT SALSAS! YEAH BOY!
I love salsas but I can’t do the really hot ones I do enjoy your videos thank
I would consider myself a chilihead. I have dried Trinidad Scorpion and dried Carolina Reaper powder that I use from tome to time.
But when it comes to simple, reliable everyday heat, nothing beats the good old Orange Habanero. It's a classic with a wonderful taste and to be honest, you don't **really** need more heat than that.
Hey Arnie, do you have a good recipe for salsa with dried puya? And thank you for the cooking inspiration!!!!
Oh I can't wait till about mid July when the Habanero's start coming out at the farmer's market in Paducah, Kentucky. I moved here from Colorado and was quite used to the wonderful roasted Pueblo chilis every fall. Then I got here and was so pleasantly surprised by the huge size of the Habaneros that were being grown here. Fire? Absolutely the hottest Habs I have ever had. I will make these recipes this summer! Thank you!!
Yummy
Ive never tried to make a pure habanero salsa with the oil like that. I’m going to have to try that soon. Love your channel 👍🏼 I think the hottest salsa I have had was a pico de gallo I made. It was a 7 pepper fresh pico. Jalapeno, Serrano, habanero, poblano, and 3 citrusy super hots. It was amazing flavor and VERY HOT 🥵
I remember having some pico last year that had pickled Carolina Reapers in it. I loved it, but it was super hot. The host of the related party gave no warning on the contents. Many tears were shed… 😂
yum!
the hottest salsa i ever had was when i was visiting the family of my friend who live in cancun. we went to his abuela's house where she made a potato soup with a special yucatecan style guacamole, but my friend's tia said that i liked spicy things, so abuelita got 3 habanero peppers, charred them on the grill, ground them in the molcajete with some lime juice and gave it to me so i could make my food spicier. i ate it all to prove they couldn't bring me down 😤
This last autumn I received a bunch of Carolina Reapers, Ghosts, and Red Serranos.
So I fermented up each separately adding Habaneros to the Ghosts and Reapers and garlic to the Serranos. Let them ferment for about two months. Then I made individual sauces out of each. I found the flavors of the first two to be a bit one dimensional and the serrano sauce lacking in heat. So I blended up a sauce out of 4 parts of the Reaper, 4 parts of the Ghost, and 2 parts of the Serrano sauces. That sauce is both amazing in flavor and as hot as any store bought Reaper sauce I've ever tried.
Yah buddy!! I found a long lost Brother
Looks delicious!! 😋 Making the middle one in a few minutes. *If y’all have babies in the house make sure they are in a different room when blinding any spicy peppers.
Thats an awesome Emulsion, is it the garlic that stabilzies it?
The background audio was just loud enough to be distracting, but I can't wait to try salsa tres!
Chingon!!!! 👍
You should try some diced cucumber in your Pico de gallo!
Going to the store NOW! ¡Vamos! To buy habaneros
You should make Chile Tamulado
Arnie I am strictly a Jalapeño man. Habanero estás loco? 🔥😎
