@@DAVYThaKiD I highly agree with your comment. Don’t let the opportunity pass you by, go for it while it’s still there. I plan to enlist in the Marine Corps after high school, and I feel like I’ll never regret it once I’m in.

PTSD inducing drumbeat. I can still hear my RDC’s yelling at the division for being so bad at drill.
Even though we were perfect in drill practice. Literal flashbacks, standing there for 5-6 hours straight with this same beat playing over and over again echoing off the empty drill hall walls since we’d be the only div there practicing daily

I did 10 years in the navy as an AO. Best decision of my life.

Im not old enough but as soon i am im leaving home and going to the navy to be a corpsman, my dad was in the navy and my brother he's in the navy currently he flies in a p-8a poseiden i think

I would just suck at marching
I'm retired Navy. EVERYONE sucks at first. You will have drill, and practice alot. You will be prepared for your graduation. Don't let that stand in your way. be able to pass the PFA before you go and be able to swim. then it's keep eyes and ears open and mouth shut. bootcamp will be ok. just remember, EVERYONE has a moment where they think, WTF did I get myself into. it will pass

@@TretzyTwins the hardest part was honestly just keeping my mindset focused and determined. It was more mentally taxing than anything. Just the shock of a new environment with all these rules and people yelling at you for the smallest mistakes. Been in almost a year and a half now and it’s one of the best decisions I made.
