"Curiously recurring template pattern" is curiously recurring to be first place.
Then it got curiously deleted.
Why though?
@@thebottlewithoutalix2806 and having them appearing then deleting is a pattern for all these subjects.

I love the way that facebook consistently stays at 100k. These are probably people trying to access facebook but instead landing on the wiki page for it.
It becomes pretty funny when you put it like that
Umut 200th liker
Pro_Tyle Everyone going away so fast after they become big for one second and Facebook is fine just being a bit small but chilling there the entire time
They could be using the wiki page to get to it, because there’s always a link in the infobox. I do that with websites sometimes when I’m not sure what the right url is and I don’t wanna end up on a fake one
Why the hell did "curiously recurring template pattern" maintain so many views for so long?!
JoelPhilosophy It curiously recurred.
I'm curious to know...
Pretty weird yeah, considering that article is boring as shit. Maybe the funny name ?
Probably a student using the pattern with bots to show it of or make a jone
It was recurring
I think the reason that people mysteriously search famous scientists and philosophers for one day and then the bubble dissapears is because google will have those themed search engines on their birthdays or whatever for example on shakespears birthday google will have a little theater animation above its search bar and everyone will search that for a day and then its gone the next day
Yea
Yea
That makes sense, but does the data agree?
asking the real questions here
You mean Doodles?
I wonder what's so fascinating about the cat's anatomy.
Aaron Myers my guess was people were on it for anatomy classes as it peaked when Midterms and Finals for high school and college would be expected.

Its similar bone structure to humans idk

Why were so many people searching for curiously recurring template pattern??
LimeGreenTeknii Would like to know that as well!
and why did they stop on 19 Jan 2013?
I'm willing to bet that someone wrote a bot using a curiously recurring template pattern to look it up. Sounds like a college CS student thing.
Wow James Bell that actually makes a lot of sense
College was starting, computer science is a popular major, and that's a basic concept of object-oriented languages. Their assignment probably said to talk about what it was without telling them where to find out what it was.

What the hell happened on Feb. 27th.
People had the hots for J. Law that day
joey pigott no, that didn't happen in 2013. Because of Hunger Games, J law was super popular back then.

I think its India

Weird how Cat Anatomy was almost always in the top 10.. And I disagree with M3w2, I think this is great data to do this with, loved the video!
This video got me on a 3 hour long Wikipedia marathon... lol
Lol same.
Apparently, people in the first half of 2013 were obsessed by cat anatomy. Did anyone else notice that?
they have spikey dicks
So odd that the List of HTTP Status Codes was in the top 10 so much... odd because I have that page open RIGHT NOW and I refer to it a lot when I am developing! I guess that explains that...

2:20 that was a weird day
5:24 Why did Haggis top Eurovision

Scotland is invading
Why is it that for one day everyone wanted to know about IEEE 1284
Interesting how Facebook was pretty much a constant in the top ten.
In 20 years, some kid watching this for a history project gonna be like
WTF WAS THE HARLEM SHAKE?!?!
Not as interesting because we mostly don't know the context and it's not consistent enough (obviously not your fault). But these data feel almost random and hat makes it less interesting. Otherwise, I love the concept of this channel, it's very novel so I think you will do well on the future.
Tl,dr: find better data
M3w2 ᅚᅚ Yeah, that was a concern, and I also could've put some explanations in the video to make it more understandable. For example, Dumpster/Durian/Diaper/Waffle jumped on April 1, 2013 because Google "released" them as scents for Google Nose, an April Fool's prank. And Mastectomy rose to first on May 14 because Angelina Jolie got one.
Abacaba UA-camrs next, more subs = bigger bubble
+Shruk Could be easily boring... The Top 3 hasn't changed since a few years i think.
marco_rennmaus you jelly because I would be first
I woild regularly tune into dedicated webseries looking at the top pages of any given day and providing a historical and cultural exploration of why these pages became so popular. I think it'd be very insightful and could learn quite a bit from it.
Yahoo had the biggest streak then
Ah yes, I get it 5 years later in my recommended.
I like how the it's 4:20 in the video when it's April 20th with the most searched video on the day being about 420. LOL

what exactly happened on may 19th 2013..?
Scotland went to war
I can explain why the "Cult" article got so many views that year, I was doing research for a story I'm writing.
That, and the 20th anniversary of the Waco Siege.
So much cat anatomy and whatever a Ernst Liffass is..
idk, but there are "litfas säulen" in germany, big concrete pillars with advertisement on them. they might have another pupose too (which i dont know about).

It was the Super Bowl
What is "curiously recurring template pattern?"
The *curiously recurring template pattern* (CRTP) is an idiom in C++ in which a class X derives from a class template instantiation using X itself as template argument. More generally it is known as F-bound polymorphism, and it is a form of F-bounded quantification.

David Moyes? Lol, probably after he was sacked.

Interesting...
I bet most of these sudden explosions of certain topics are because of some really big schools or groups of schools that use the same topic for a homework or something.
And what's up with that curiously bla thing at the beginning?
I don't think a really big school group has over 100k people... I've never heard of it at least.
***** Then maybe someone mentioned it in a TV show or something?
Maybe something linked it as a source? But I don't think many people are that interested in sources. Maybe there's also something wrong with the "random page" algorythm. ;)
