How can people watch stuff like this and leave awful comments? Can't they see that this comes from such a place of love for Jimi in his heart? Anybody that puts that much effort into the look/sound/gear, obviously has a deep passion for music, and the artist they are trying to recreate. I think it's great!
I saw Randy last year and had my mind blown several times over. I said to my buddies "You see so many bar bands perform Jimi's music and then you see THIS guy." he's just so next level.
Anyone that puts Randy down doesn't know Hendrix. I saw Randy live 39 years ago. he blew me away. I used to go to Frank Marino gigs when he started out. Frank a great player but he branched off. Randy play a tribute to Hendrix, he is not trying to prove anything. He is the best in the world doing this. His vocals even sound like Hendrix.
Okay, 14 years of age, Randy learning Hendrix tunes. He foresaw the creativity, and the showmanship that would live on forever. You may like Hendrix, you may hate Hendrix but something for sure, he was a pioneer and will live on. Randy saw this and as a youngster realized the Hendrix legacy would live on and even though boomers would die out there would always be Hendrix fans. Thanks Randy (and your supporting musical partners) for an iconic memory and lasting tribute! You too will always remembered for your talent!
Having watched many Randy Hansen videos, this is an absolutely incredible performance. I'd never seen him do "Are you experienced" and it made me cry. Such an incredible talent. A world treasure.
t least he's got a dentist. Politics has made seeing one only affordable on a billboard. Randy was the best after Jimi and Steve Ray Vaughn was great too. Bless to of lived in their time period when one could believe the lies of a politician not like Trump days.

We lost a super shining star when we lost Jimi. I truly believe we have got a major revisitation through Randy. Virtually Jimi incarnate!!! I'm so pleased!!!

I met Randy in Whitehorse Yukon Ter. 1976. Showboat Lounge, Kid Chrysler and the Cruisers. The local cable network came out and taped the band one night. I'll bet they still have it in their archives. He was a major influence on me and my love for guitar playing. He would light his guitar on fire!

Randy is an a great guitar player and entertainer. His Marshall 1959 Super Lead 100 heads sound just incredible driving those Celestion speakers. Great job Randy!

The band is amazing here tight and in the pocket when needed but also free to let loose . Totally enjoyed this . Love Hendrix and for me there will never be another but this truly honors him and musicianship in general as all these cats can really play their instruments . Respect to them all !

Saw Jimi Hendrix 3 times am 70 now. He was great.like sev after him this man Randy was in that time. He's as close to sounding like Jimi as I've ever heard. I call him the white Jimi and he's darn good. If you weren't there you don't know. Would loves to of seen Beethoven on his keys We can only imagine how great he was too, not seeing him.

I've seen Randy at Landhaus Walther in Hamburg many years ag, and he really rocked the house. My girlfriend at the time was there as well & nearly fell over backwards, but still became my wife (she must love me VERY much 😆), but only after I promised her to use headphones at home... We later migrated to Australia & I bombarded her with AC/DC, Rose Tatoo & Wolfmother etc., but nothing was as 'terrible' as 'this ugly guy' in the Landhaus (just quoting her). So Randy must have really made an impression - I love him; he's not only a great Jimi impersonator, but a great musician in his own right. And I always loved purple....
He's come along way cause NOW his show is much better since he's focused on the Jimi part. But just getting out and playing is key and he's certainly doing that!!!
