Teachers should not give students requirements to complete MLA essays. That should be personal between the student and those who edit or want to publish that essay.

I need to distinguish between both texts as they are not identical, yet without naming the year of publication in the in-Text citation they look the same?
1.)If a source has 2 authors name both. But if there's more than 2 name the first one followed by "et al." 2.) If the author is unknown than the in text citation should match the first element of the works cited entry. 3.) If a source doesn't have page numbers but is divided into some form of number parts, use those number parts to locate the relevant passage, (for all my edgenuity boys out there ;)

If you are paraphrasing multiple sentences consecutively do you put a citation after every sentence or just when you are done paraphrasing?
If the material you're paraphrasing if all from the same sort, you only need the citation after the paraphrasing as a whole is complete.
