- Understanding the Sacral Plexus and the Sciatic Nerve
Dive deep into the anatomy of the sacral plexus, a crucial network of motor and sensory nerves that play a pivotal role in innervating the muscles and skin of the pelvis and lower limbs.
Located anterior to the piriformis muscle, the sacral plexus has both anterior and posterior divisions, each with its unique branches and functions.
This video provides a comprehensive overview of these divisions, highlighting the motor nerve of the sacral plexus.
Additionally, explore the sciatic nerve, the largest branch of the sacral plexus, and its significance in the human body.

I've taught anatomy/physiology for 3 decades. The information and animation in this video is excellent. The pronunciation however, is poor. Please get someone (or some AI) to try this again. Honestly, it's what prevents me from using it in my classes.
He has an American English accent, but I can't see anything wrong with it
Very different to Br. E, but just as it happens with Spanish from Spain and from countries of South America
He pronounces many names different than I ever heard in all my classes and studies... in America😊
what is your standard of excellency, in pronunciation?
@@heatherlayton5785how long ago was your study prior to hearing the pronunciation in this video?
@@cristinap.morais6878yes, exactly what most American professors would pronounce.
En français ? Non😢
Maybe you should try to learn English for a change
