Of course, two days later, at Google I/O, the Pixel 6 and all the phones of that class were leaked, so already behind. I do hope that Google will update for three years, and continue to provide assistance. I will wait to fall for Android 12. Thanks for the review.

Guys.... I for example waited for long time for a phone as Pixel 5 in such a small body. Not everybody is like me BUT I don't really want the best of the best anymore. With Pixel 5 the performance is almost high end and you get a ~6 inch phone with a 6 inch screen perfectly symetrical PLUS a clean software without all sort of crap and bloatware. Great review as always, Chris, you never fail to make me laugh! Shame I had to leave the UK just after the launch so probably won't be getting my hands on a Pixel 5 anytime soon given the Covid madness. I must say I'm a bit concerned about the screen size (been using the 4XL since December and love everything about it except the damn battery!) and would've loved more storage as well as dual SIM support but I'll probably still give it a chance!

One of the reasons I gave up on Pixel this time around after many years was size. I'm 65, and larger phones are better for my eyesight. Also the Samsung S20 FE (which I bought) has a hearing test which allows you to tweak the audio to your hearing, another benefit as we get older.

Not sure if it thinks that since that speaker is momentarily obstructed by my hand should be a good "idea" to reroute everything to the other speaker, but if it is I violently disagree with this choice.
