Thanks for checking out my Pixel 9 Pro XL review, my S24 Ultra comparison is going live a few minutes after I type this, just finishing the upload! What do you reckon, tempted by the XL or one of the smaller Pixels?

The first UA-camr whose reviews I look out for. I was tempted to upgrade to the P9P from my P6P, but I'm thinking of holding out for the 10 where the rumours of a new chipset are circling
I ll do the same!! I think it s the best choice, considering that all those features will get better, better cameras and storage, so I ll skip this year as well

My biggest pain points are ruled out with the 9 Pro XL from what I've seen, so I'm planning on upgrading now and then getting either the 11 or 12 Series Pixel once the edges have been smoothed out a little
What I'd like to see the most is the same professional camera blur background as Sony has in the new Xperia. It would give a the professional look to the photos.

An excellent video, I particularly appreciated the very honest conclusion advising you to opt for a solid mid-range for half the price. I've had a lot of interest in this phone, but the more reviews I listen to, the more I get the feeling of a device with performance barely visibly superior to a good mid-range in terms of photography and video, with the emphasis on AI-based services, including image editing, which I already benefit from extensively elsewhere.
Lovely reference to Middlesbrough there 😂 it’s a shame Gemini didn’t suggest the pig iron as places to visit. A pint, a scrap and a packet of pork scratchings for less than a fiver. Result

Great video as usual. The phone seems really good. If I hadn't bought the OnePlus 12 earlier this year I would definitely consider getting this one. It's good to see AI features that are actually useful.
How do you like the OnePlus 12? I considered it, since I have a 6T. Just decided to keep the 6T until it dies, which it's starting to do so. :( I love the fast charging! I haven't seen any other phone really have that feature.
@@SAHM99 I've found it to be a great phone. The cameras are far better than my previous phone (OP 10 Pro). The 100W fast charging is really good and having wireless charging is very useful. My only real complaint is that the pre-installed screen protector gets scratches and scuffs far too easily.
Nice one chief on being one of the first reviews up and funny enough, I just upgraded my Pixel 6 to the Pixel 9 Pro XL this afternoon and hope to get it on Friday. Happy with the 6, so hope to be ecstatic with the 9 Pro, as the camera is the main thing for me.

All the new features are nice but they still need to improve the G4. Performing worse than the 8 gen 2 from almost 2 years ago while still being priced around other flagshups
Meh. Overly expensive for all models. I'd rather stick to the Samsung Galaxy A55. An all around solid, well balanced midranger, that offers a lot of these same features at a much lower price. No thanks.
How do you like the 8Pro? I'm coming from a OnePlus6T, so either way it'd be an upgrade. On update to android 15, do you think it would have some of the features of the 9 pro?

Hopefully, the s24 ultra brings it, and honestly, Google should trickle down most of the feature to pixel 8 series because what good is a phone for 7 years if it can't even get the main highlighted feature hardly 10 months later you still got 6 years of android and security update for both pixel 8 and 9.
You just earned another subscriber. Love your review. I’m on the fence of upgrading to the 9 XL from an iPhone 13pro and just watching a bunch of reviews.
Uhhh why not? Iphone sucks . I dont use google but u need to leave apple asap. Force them to make a good phone. Google makes a better looking, camera, calling, email, tv. And ecosystem phone. I use samsung and again its alot better
And you know that I am using the S24 ultra. With a case on. It's great having rounded edges and corners
Can you share wallpaper download
Can somebody compare scrolling performance on that device between Firefox and Chrome browsers? Stutters, frame drops, etc.
(Firefox is unbearable on my Pixel 8 Pro, would like to know if there's an improvement on that part).
Looks like a nice upgrade from my 6. cheers.
I dont get the price different, I can get the 9 for $600 in australia and the xl is more than 2x the price and only 10% bigger with basically the same specs
I would have loved to hear your usual sound test. :/
