Part of my rebuild on my '85 200X was new master cylinders front and rear as both of mine was shot. Both were from same manufacturer (Mati) only my rear was not a kit. Could not get rear to hold any pressure, turns out the hose from reservoir needed to be replaced also. Any more mine is far from OEM as I replaced thumb throttle with a twist, have ASV levers on both sides (no parking brake) and Scott grips. Also replaced the clevis on rear master cylinder with billet clevis from Fast. Looks great. As you've said many times, make it yours and I have, but of course been mine since December '84 when I bought it new. Also replaced both brake lines with braided stainless lines.
@@mrcbuilds Thanks man, most people don't believe me when I tell them how old it is or how long I've owned it. Always keep it in a barn or garage, never outside, even overnight.
Im certain that master for the front brake is not O.E. Should also have a cage around it. Ive got one (just the cage) from an '85 250R, not sure if they're the same, but maybe? Idk.
Hey Russ, i am working toward a lapel mic that works well enough to be able to keep the fan on, its florida and hot. But thats for watching and i do appreciate yhe feed back
4:36 "trained eye" HAHA very funny
Lol, that was funny
Between all those 2 strokes and that fan, there shouldn't be a mosquito within 500 yards of your place. Great vid, keep them coming.
We grow them tough down here. I have seen one fly trough a running fan before and never hit a blade.
@@mrcbuildsWe're going into the 40's so our flies and mosquitos don't have a chance to be pests any more.

He is a expert for sure, and a good friend
I used a can of Aquanet hair spray on one of my bikes hand grips a couple days ago.
LOL, I just knew I was going to catch flack for that, but that how we did it. lol
You're absolutely right! We didn't have fancy grip glue back in the day. But Mom had hairspray in the bathroom. 👍🏻
I like yard sale ATCs
They are very rare
Super information!
Thank you sir!

The mastrer cylinder cages came in black and chrome, they were an accessory or a add on by hondaline and others.
@@mrcbuilds no kiddin? I thought it was a standard thing. Now that i think of it, my '85 350x had a chrome one.
I don't see the link to the rear mati master cylinder. Am I blind? Great video!
