Loved the video!💕 Just started my comic book collection and found Toon Haven. They offer a huge variety of digital comics for every genre, and lifetime updates too!😍
Black Panther was too low, Taskmaster way too high. Taskmaster in particular often loses to these other characters because he relies on what he's learned from others instead of mastering his own abilities, his fight IQ alone is the lowest of the group.
Taskmaster has single-handedly fought off The Avengers. The truth is, he's rarely beaten in fights, instead cutting his losses and choosing to escape. Writers have a bad habit of dumbing him down and making him unable to beat people he can't copy, and that's horribly inaccurate.
Paul Rebold But he has never defeated Black Panther though. Plus the knowledge that he obtains is limited to what he already knows. New information pushes old information out. If it wasn't for that weakness he could have a permanent seat in the top 3 of martial arts. But when it comes to Black Panther he literally knows every form of Martial Arts and has mastered them all. Plus with Marvel Legacy, but Black Panther and Iron Fist now have over 1 Million years of experience in their own unique ways, which is why Black Panther and Iron Fist should be in the top 2 spots.
King Bagheera I'm not sure Tasky has ever taken on Panther, to be honest. As for the limited memory issue, they talked about it in his mini, but beyond that it seems to be something not factored in. Even so, he forgets non-combat related memories. That said, if you look at the list of characters Taskmaster has duplicated (and retains), it's most of the people on this list as well as numerous others.
Something else to consider about Taskmaster's ability is that he isn't just as good as the people he mimics, but knowing someone else's moves as intimately as he can means that he can effectively fight those people with the same kind of ability to predict what they will do that Cassandra Cain has, meaning that while he could fight as good as Captain America, he would also put Captain America himself at a disadvantage.
As a fan of Shang-Chi I'm hoping the film not only gets Shang-Chi's character right including his ever-changing views on the concepts of honor, and human nature but also has awesome fight scenes that accurately show why Shang-Chi is the best fighter in the Marvel Universe.
"This list isn't about strength. It's about technical skill." "The Taskmaster isn't higher on this list because he doesn't have super strength like Captain America."
If that is the case then Shang Chi and Iron Fist should be way lower and Wolverine should always be at the top of the list since he can incorporate his healing factor and senses into his fighting style. Every mutant would have to be put above everyone since their powers are naturally occurring and not a product of a serum or some outside forces I.e cosmic rays like the FF or man built armor like BP and Iron Man. This list is supposed to be based solely on skill not on how powerful the characters are. I think he used a bit of hypocrisy when it came to Taskmaster since his abilities would put him on par skill wise with everyone. We have seen Shang Chi take down super villains more stronger than him with just his skill so strength shouldn’t have been a factor at all in the making of this list.
Explain to me how Captain America's several skills and relatively limited experience beat Wolverine's two hundred years of mastering and utilising every known martial art on this and several other planets.
To me, giving wolverine all of this credit is a new thing. In the 80s, it was his healing factor and his berserker rages that would ultimately save him. Besides what I said didn’t shingen or whatever his name is beat him handedly in the Frank Miller mini series?
The problem with Wolverine is that pretty much since he went feral, the writers forget that he's skilled, so he's _usually_ written as a brawler with one story every two years bringing him back to a skilled fighter. Much like when they reign in his healing factor when it gets too extreme.
Exactly. I'm not sure how he's considered an elite fighter anymore since even with his adamantium, healing factor, training, and other mutant benefits, every fight he's in he needs massive healing afterwards. He rarely goes into a fight without losing an eye or having his intestines flopping around. That's not the sign of a skilled warrior, that's the sign of an overpowered warrior who wins because he can't be killed :/
Robin Thrush: Yeah tell me about it, there actually used to be a time when Wolverine showed H2H skills that were "Captain America" tier...... How things change.
As I said, they bring that skill back every now and again, and they did that a few years ago when they introduced Daken. Logan fought Cap and would have won (gave Cap an embolism in his leg from a precision strike, I think) when Cap learned Logan was going to kill Daken with the Muramasa blade (which is back in the All New Wolverine series currently).
Robin Thrush Pretty much always looking half dead after a fight, then his healing factor kicks in. He's especially always gettin' his tail whooped in the X-Men movies. All he does is run, and swing with an occasional leap here and there. No agility whatsoever 😐😒. The Wolverine from the early 90's use to get it in.
I’m so confused. If black panther has mastered all the martial arts in the world and has access to previous panthers, then how tf is Captain America higher on the list?
And black panther beat Wolverine in a fight without his healing factor which showed the flaws in his fighting style...and this list about fighting right
Marvin Garcia I dont like that fight. It looks like the writter just loved bp and wanted to make him look awesone. Karnak its suposed to be the reference in martial arts and hand to hand combat even to the best heroes. Its what he is suppoused to be... Anyway... Bp is also faster, stronger, etc. Than karnak who has only pure technique and skill
Black Panther should’ve been a Top 3 fighter He’s like Batman but with superhuman abilities and a better suit he’s mastered every fighting style known to man and he isn’t afraid to kill people unlike Batman
He definitely should, he's one of the best natural fighters in Marvel and known by reputation to be the toughest guy in the city full of superheroes. His martial arts skills were always improving too
Marvel rated their own characters. Real official ratings on their site. Daredevil is only a 5 on fighting ability out of 7. There are several 7s and a TON of 6s. Daredevil would be pretty far down even if he was the best out of ALL of the people rated at 5.
In a different universe, he became a assassin who was trained in all fighting styles and trained his spider-sense to the point he was able to tell someone was coming to kick his ass from miles away, and had enough time to eat, get dress, and plan how he was going surprise attack them, which work, and also he killed wolverine, and brutality beat black widow, and he no longer quips but has turned his web shooters into guns in his wrist which is pretty badass, he later modified it to shoot multiple webs ( different varieties) and different types of bullets
Me mr. You, who is overrating him? If someone is overrated that is Captain America. Black Panther has beaten him in the comics many times in hand to hand combat, so how is Black Panther overrated? If anything he is super underrated.
@@zaina2897 Sure, but Daredevil's a better fighter than Wolverine. He's also a better fighter than Iron Fist, IF only wins if he uses his magic fist. But if we're going to count that, then Spider-Man should be on the list at number 1.
Daredevil was at one point Marvel's equivalent to Batman, mostly because of Frank Miller. Anyone who reads DD comics and thinks IF or Cap is a better martial artist is kidding themselves. They captured this incredibly well in the show, showing how he's always improving and how he has a reputation for being the greatest natural fighter there is, extremely comic accurate.
@@teehee1520 BP has mastered all forms of Martial Arts he’s knocked out with 1 hit Karnak Cap America and Wolverine on multiple occasions he’s like Batman only with the superhuman abilities and better suit Just as smart, more rich and like I said Mastered all forms of Martials arts and hand to hand combat. Plus he’s not afraid to kill.
Maybe cuz cap did the same + has the ability to learn every fighting style by looking at it and also created his own fighting styles ??? Captain america is the batman of dc
@@kirin8735 different part of it, they're getting rebooted, first character getting rebooted is daredevil is in spider-man far from home, he's not gonna be the blind warrior yet until she hulk series ( by that I mean he's just blind murdock until she hulk series we'll see daredevil)
Remember. There is "physical skill" and "physical capability." No matter how skilled you're in fighting, if your physical capability isn't enough, it's difficult to perform some movements. In summary you need balance between those two. Taksmaster might be able to copies Cap's fist but he's unable to do it as perfect as Cap's due to physical limitations.
Marvel has rated these people on their site. Official numbers. Black Panther is popular. Cool. His fighting ability is rated 5 out of 7 by marvel. He's not getting on a top 10 list of fighters unless it's top 10 fighters from Wakanda with a sister named Shuri. There are a few 7s. There are a TON of 6s. There are a lot of 5s. You'd have to have a pretty long list to start including 5s (Daredevil and Black Panther are both only a 5).
Hopefully they give him a mask so a stunt double who is trained can do most of the fights. The actor barely had training and didn't get much practice in with the fights from what I hear.
@@cube7439 originally it was to replace his spider sense because he had lost it for a bit when he got it back however his fighting experience enhanced his spidey sense
My list 1.) Shang Chi 2.) Iron Fist 3.) Black Panther 4.) Taskmaster 5.) Captain America 6.) Karnak 7.) Wolverine 8.) Daredevil 9.) Gamora 10.) Elektra
@@egghead1985 technically he still could even without his armor he's still has the power of the god panther of wakanda hell in a weakened state he threw a spear hard enough to go through concrete
GTS maybe. But I don’t think he could beat captain America he had trouble with the Winter soldier and others with the armor. Robin/Red hood would take him out.
Deebo Molina why do a top ten dc or Marvel's best strategies or technicians characters.. these characters rely on fighting and mind games at the same time..
Lol nothing will ever compare to the nerf Hulk got in the MCU ..but hey atleast there's consistency in these characters' power level unlike in the comics
@@arandomguy9518 smh ikr they nerfed my favorite character the hulk so fucking bad it’s disgraceful🤦🏻♂️ hulk in the comics is a whole different story😭
@@arandomguy9518 also considering that the MCU are saying that captain marvel is stronger than Thor I don’t think there’s much consistency there either

As much as I absolutely hate wolverine. After all the fights i've seen with him and even that beginning scene from the death of wolverine where there was an entire island of dead people who had tried to kill him, I have to agree that wolverine should be higher on the list
@@josefbosef5668 you basing yourself in comics or movies, sounds like movies, wolverine is a martial arts beast, his x men movies didn’t show this unfortunately, and daredevil is literally daredevil, not saying Elektra is weaker, but you shouldn’t be surprised if she was
What about Ares ... the god of war? What about Mandarin ... What about Sabertooth? Marvel has real numbers for fighting ability for their characters at their site. Official stuff, not fan stuff. Daredevil and Black Panther are both rated at 5 out of 7 Shang Chi, Taskmaster, and Wolverine are all rated as 7 out of 7. Just like Ares and Crossbones and Sabertooth and Mandarin. I think your list would have to be .... EXTREMELY long for Daredevil or Black Panther to make it ... unless you were just talking about the MCU or something.
Spiderman would be to strong for them Physically, and his spider senses alone are way more enhanced and complex and give him a very superb edge, which at the same time he relied on for long time until he actually trained.
@@Cthulhuguru Bullseye is good but he pretty consistently loses to Daredevil when Daredevil is able to close the distance. So since this list is about hand-to-hand combat, Daredevil qualifies and Bullseye doesn't. However if the list were about ranged combat, Bullseye would be absolutely first place, with Kate Bishop second and Clint Barton third.
Marvel has official ratings for the characters at their site. Thor, Hercules and SpiderMan are all rated at 4 out of 7. Very few power house characters have a fighting ability higher than 4. Thor, Hercules, Hulk, She-hulk, Luke Cage, Colossus, Red Hulk, Strong Guy ... all have a fighting ability of 4. Wonder Man has a fighting ability of 5 (durability 6, energy 7, strength 6). Same fighting ability as Black Panther or Daredevil. Guardian has a fighting ability of 5 (durability 6, fighting 5, energy 5, strength 5) Omega Red has 5 durability 6 fighting and 5 strength. That's a very high fighting ability for significant strength. Absorbing Man 6 durability, 6 fighting, 6 strength. This character seems like they should be virtually unstoppable. Sabertooth is 4 durability, 7 fighting, 4 strength Ares is rocking 6 durability, 7 fighting and 5 strength Mandarin is 4 durability, 7 energy, 7 fighting, 7 intelligence, and 5 strength (doctor doom only has 6 energy and 6 intelligence)
You forgot that Captain America's brain also functions several times faster than a non-powered humans as pertains to combat and trajectories, letting him predict movements of opponents and objects alike, which is how he bounces his shield around so perfectly.
The Emo Emu same for Wolverine. It literally says it on Marvels info site. Due to his enhanced senses and experience He can predict up to 7 moves ahead of his opponent for multiple scenarios and be prepared to react to each one before they even happen. Wolverine and Cap both should have been way higher.
I am pretty sure that in the Marvel universe Captain America is the greatest hand to hand fighter...period. There isn't any but this guy, unless Cap is fighting someone way stronger or with other powers, Cap gets to win.
If we’re talking beating the others on this list then black panther should’ve been higher on the list. He beat dare devil, wolverine, and Captain America on several occasions. Black panther should’ve been number 3 or 4.
@@KingTChalla69 he’s beaten daredevil in 2 hits, he’s fought on par with Shang chi, he beat black panthers grandfather and fought to a stand still with tchalla multiple times, he fought and beat batroc on multiple occasions as well as cache who has mastered every form of combat, beat US agent who was stronger and faster, has been stated to have mastered every form of martial arts while fighting Zemo, and can predict what his opponent is going to do after one fight
Deadpool should be on the list since he has one of the most unpredictable fighting styles and when he gets serious in a fight can rival wolverine, captain America and confuse freaking taskmaster...also hes a master with kitanas and other weapons... please reply and tell me your thoughts
Yung Fleet73 Spider-Man? I wouldn’t say that spiderman is a martial artist by any means, he just mainly uses his spider sense and spider strength with his tech suit
@@Name11307 I can agree with that but it's clear he's not a martial artist, you don't have to be one to be a good fighter. And plus I'm going off the comics version not the MCU.
Danish that’s like saying that comic writers get crazy and create a character that has a completely indestructible skeleton and an ability to completely heal from 99% of all severe wounds, which is pretty stupid. It’s comic books and superheroes, guys, relax. Can you imagine how boring comic books would be if they were realistic? I’ll take stupid and fun over realistic and boring any day of the week.
Blade is a marvel character?! Damn. And Blade should definitely be in this list then. He would wipe the floor of most of these guys even though he lost to Dracula but to be fair, Blade didn't have his sword.
Blade listed Blade's fighting ability as 5 out of 7. He should mention all of the 7 out of 7 before talking about 5 out of 7, right? And, all of the 6 out of 7?
Makhi Bridgett remember Bp has vibranium in his suit so he can take a lot of damage. And if he starts to lose dont forget hes smarter than tony stark so he could intelligently figure out a way to win.
Marvel has official numbers for this stuff on their site. Back Panther is a 5 out of 7. Iron Fist is a 6 out of 7. That's a big difference. There are a handful of characters rated as 7 out of 7 and he got very few of them. You'd think .... Ares ... god of war ... would make a list about the best fighters. He's rated as a 7 out of 7 (with a ton of strength and durability). Sabertooth ... he's a 7 out of 7 for fighting and also has enhanced strength and durability and speed. Mandarin ... he's got 7 for fighting AND intelligence AND energy. Black Panther would be pretty low (3 durability, 3 energy, 5 fighting, 5 intelligence, 2 speed, 3 strength). Omega Red (5 durability, 4 energy, 6 fighting, 4 intelligence, 3 speed, 5 strength) Yeah? Ares (6 durability, 1 energy, 7 fighting, 2 intelligence, 2 speed, 5 strength) If you want to go purely by fighting ability ... that's just the one number to look at and you can ignore the rest. Characters like Hulk and Thor only have a 4 fighting ability, so fighting ability doesn't really include strength and other powers. Yeah? If Silver Surfer is 7 durability, 7 energy, 5 fighting, 4 intelligence, 7 speed, 6 strength ... then the fact that Silver Surfer can move faster than the speed of light and destroy a planet from outside of the solar system before you've had a chance to recognize that he's moving ... isn't really a factor in the fact that his fighting ability is only a 5 .. it's not like Shang Chi's fighting ability of 7 would make him a match for the Silver Surfer ... unless they were just punching and kicking at each other without durability and strength or speed.
I wish that Frank Castle had at least gotten an honorable mention. He's highly trained in many forms of martial arts such as: Chin Na, Hwa Rang Do, Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Nash Ryu Jujutsu, Ninjutsu, Shorin-ryu Karate and Systema. He also has extensive bladed-weapon training. He's gone toe-to-toe with several of the people on this list and even beaten them on occasions. His immense tolerance to pain and being able to absorb physical punishment has allowed him to take on many fighters considered to be elite status in the MCU. His mastery over his own mind and will is such that he can shrug off mind-controlling attempts by super-beings. He's also extensively trained in military special operations and tactics.

How? He out skills C.A by a long shot with the ability of recalling multiple years of fighting and having enhanced reflexes, strength and agility like Cap, except for B.P has way more knowledge than Cap. If anything Black Panther is underrated.
Jesus fuck, dont be some elitist ass like Mr. You, give a fucking reason to why you even think he's overrated. I would've guessed UA-cam stopped this stupid habit a long time ago.
I'm pretty surprised Deadpool didn't make the list too. I've seen him beat Shatterstar, Cable and Wolverine before, but Wolverine wasn't at his best at the time....
Maybe it's his suit that gains him the victory more so than his skills, even though he indeed has mean skills. If Cap, Wolv, and Ironfist all had that same vibranium suit, you think Black Panther would still win? Or if they all (including Black Panther) had no suit at all, you still think he'd win?
Caps shield is his suit, Wolvies healing factor and Adamantium bones are his suit and Ironfist's chi is his suit. So yes I do think Black Panther can beat all of them in H2H combat only. After all he has mastered every fighting style on earth plus some extra ones as well.
Doctor Strange and Mantis should be on the list too, at least as honorable mentions. Strange is so powerful with his magic that people forget that he's a master martial artist that's stood toe to toe with both Black Panther and Mantis h2h. I believe he even fought Dormammu h2h and won too.
Black Panther is one of the top 3. He has bested Wolverine, CaptAmerica in 1:1 combat. You said Cap’s physical, IronMan’s brain AND Batman’s preparedness.
Marvel has rated these characters. Not fan guesses. Real official numbers from Marvel. Most comic book writing is terrible and the editing is just as bad. The person who wins in a fight is just who the writer wants to win. It's not based in marvel's own reality. Wolverine's fighting ability rated out of 7 is .... 7 Captain America 6 Black Panther 5 Do you honestly think Black Panther would be able to beat .... Ares or Mandarin or Sabertooth? Black Panther (3 durability, 3 energy, 5 fighting skill, 5 intelligence, 2 speed, 3 strength) Ares (6, 1, 7, 2, 2, 5) Mandarin (4, 7, 7, 7, 4, 5) Sabertooth (4, 1, 7, 2, 2, 4) Keep in mind ... marvel has rating their ability to fight (which encompasses everything) so the ratings are official. If you want to beat Ares ... you have to do something that isn't just fighting. If you want to beat Sabertooth it's pretty much the same thing (except his biggest rival is wolverine who has the same 7 fighting ability).
0:30 "pure based on fighting skills" 6:38 "He can't pull those moves with the same level of power" I thought power wouldn't matter to this list, only skill...
Eduardo Maia but then you take away his powers and he can't even pull off the moves. So you either say he can do the moves but without the same power, or you say he can't even do the moves.
look at it in this logic a guy with a sledgehammer immitating a guy with sword... do you honestly expect the guy with the hammer to achieve the same results copying the guy withe sword?
You guys are missing the point. Is not about if he's as strong, or if he can get the same results. We are talking about martial arts. His power allow him to do the exact fighting style of anyone. So when you list all the kinds of acrobacies that DD can do or all the fighting styles shang chi knows, Its all the same since taskmaster can do all that stuff and more. Sure, when he learns some of caps moves, sure if one of the moves expect you to, I don't know, jump really high, if you don't you can't complete the move, so this move in particular is useless. But since we are talking about martial arts the are several other moves to learn, copy and adapt. So, in the end, I don't think you can put someone in a better position then taskmaster for the only reason that person's stamina, strenght and so one are better. We are not measuring who would win, we are measuring who has the most skill.
Marvel actually has a list of them. Though they've been affirmative-actioning it to ridiculous degrees in the past five years. Moon Girl is supposed to be #1 now. Used to be Richards > Stark > Banner > Xavier, I think. Amadeus Cho kept bringing it up in the Incredible Herc run after WW Hulk since he was #7.
My top 5 would have to go as follows: 1.Task Master 2. Shang Chi 3: Iron Fist 4: Daredevil 5: BP/Cap/Wolverine Not to bash the assessments of the channel but you said we were talking purely about skill, which DOES make Taskmaster #1. Not being able to punch as hard as Cap doesn't matter when we're gauging skill right? Taskmaster essentially has a Sharingan and has a catalogue of opponents who's styles he has usurped including the likes of Cap, BP, DD and everyone in the top 10 for that matter. Despite the strain it put on his body, Taskmaster has been capable of mimicking SPIDERMANS movements even though he's just peak human. Taskmaster takes #1 because his ability is literally a skill based ability. Shang Chi would get#1 if it weren't for Taskmaster being who he is. I dont see him beating Taskmaster on paper but we all know a plot accounts for alot when you're the good guy. Iron Fist is the next best thing to Shang. His skills are insane. He's even defeated an opponent who can see your moves before you do them by using drunken fist. Shang has gotten the better of Danny various times before however. I'd also wager that Davos should get honorable mention considering he isn't far behind Danny in skill. Daredevil doesn't need much explaining imo. He's not better than the guy's I mentioned prior but he'd certainly put up one hell of a fight where skill is concerned. Panther, Cap and Wolvie have to share the #5 spot. Wolvie is without question one of the best and most seasoned fighters in Marvel when he's not relying on his heaking factor and adamatium skeletal structure. That being said, Panther and Cap have both proven to be skilled enough to take on both the most skilled and most overpowered characters in Marvel with skill alone. BP and Wolverine have defeated Cap in hand to hand combat as well, so putting Cap above either of them in the skill department doesn't really make sense. Honorable mentions: Blade, Davos, Mr. X, Prince of Orphans, Fat Cobra, Tiger's Daughter, Bride of Spiders(something like that), Dog Brother, Wu Tang(yes they have had marvel appearances and are pretty skilled).
Marvel has real official ratings for this stuff on their site. Fighting ability ratings out of 7 (this doesn't include other stuff .. just fighting ability). Taskmaster is 7 Shang Chi is 7 Iron Fist is 6 Daredevil is a 5 Black Panther is a 5 Captain America is a 6 Wolverine is a 7 Blade is a 5 Steel Serpent (davos) is a 6 Fat Cobra has no rating (there are thousands of characters, most have ratings) I don't know who most of these characters you ended with are and I'm not going to try and research what the name is and then look them up. Ares is a 7 Mandarin is a 7 Crossbones is a 7 Sabertooth is a 7 These are official numbers from Marvel. Before you would get to someone like Daredevil or Back Panther you would have to list characters like Absorbing Man and Omega Red and Colleen Wing and Night Thrasher. Yeah? Every single 6 would come before ANY of the 5s. If you want Daredevil on a top fighters list ... it would need to be ... top blind fighters (Stick is rated as a 6 to Daredevil's 5). Black Panther could be like ... top fighters from Wakanda ... with a sister named Shuri.
tyler pontiff well I would understand your point if he focused on caps strength . But instead he highlighted caps stamina and durability which help him very much with his fighting style
Marvel has real official numbers rating their characters on their site. Moonknight's fighting is rated 4 out of 7. Most comic book writing is trash and most of the editing is just as bad. Who wins in a given fight is more about the story the writer is telling and less about ... what would "actually" happen. Concrete numbers about people's fighting ability rated by marvel ... that's about as real as it gets, right? If you want to argue about which 7 can beat which other 7 ... go for it. If you want to start to argue about which 5 can beat some other 7 .... dude, good luck. Peter Parker is known for being really smart. He's got an intelligence rating of 4. Reed Richards has an intelligence rating of 6. What would it take for Peter to GENUINELY outsmart Reed ... not some garbage with bad writing. One of the smartest people in the marvel universe ...vs ... that kid who like ... made his own webbing. That's a 4 vs a 6. Deadpool's fighting is a 6. Moonknight is a 4. If Moonknight beats Deadpool ... it's because of bad writing (or a weird event where Moonknight was turned into a god or whatever that deal was).
Rick Scorsese um no, they aren't. Gamora knows techniques from all over the universe and Murdock is nothing compared to Marvel's more renowned martial artists such as Shang-Chi and even Elektra. In the most recent Defenders comic he let Danny Rand take Elektra instead of fighting her himself.
Micah Bou 🤔You do realize that who wins in a particular fight in a comic book is dependent on who the writer of the story is,correct? That being said,if i think Daredevil and Black Panther would whip Elektra or Iron Fist,it’s only a opinion, not facts.Only the writers can determine the outcome.
I love how Wolverine is such a skilled fighter even though punching him is almost about as effective as punching Superman. Logan: why don’t you dodge or try to counter your opponent? Superman: why do you?
I think cap is way too high on this list tbh. Why would someone who has learnt "a lot" of fighting styles be higher on a list than people who have learnt them "all"? Come on Eric. Biased much? Smh. Slots 1&2 should be Logan or tchalla interchangeably for having mastered all earthly fighting styles not to mention some extraterrestrial ones; slots 3&4 should be shangchi and iron fist, 5 taskmaster, 6 should be a tie between cap and daredevil. Anyway, I do enjoy your videos.✌🏼
@The middle ground you are a moron, wolverine and cap have fought 3 times and cap got owned every time. Stop spreading bs. And movies, wolverine doesn't even know how to fight in them so stop assuming bullshit as well
Daredevil and Black Panther should be in the Top 3. Panther has already beaten Cap in a hand to hand fight with pure skills and Daredevil has been stated to be more skilled than Cap, too. The only reason why in the comics they stalemated each other was because Cap has the advantage in Physical stats.
jah crispy Actually Black Panther is better in every single category. The only thing that makes Captain America GREAT is his morals and his Super Soldier Serum, without it he's either skinny lil kid or a weak old man. Black Panther was peak human befire taking the heart shaped herb. The herb just connects him to the Panther God Bast who then enhances him future. As far as skills go *ALL Royal Family members are trained since birth to be the Black Panther.* Captain America was trained when he was an adult and after he received the *Super Soldier Serum.* Black Panther has *always had more skills* than Captain America. All Royal Family members have to train and study throughout the life in order to be not just a Warrior but a Ruler and leader as well. Which means they would've required far more skills then any US Soldier, or any other soldier, no matter how special they are. T'Challa has also MASTERED EVERY SINGLE MARTIAL ART IN THE WORLD AND THEN SOME...Captain America at BEST may only know a dozen to 2 dozen different Martial Arts. They're considered equal in what they represent...Captain America = the American people and Black Panther = Black People Everywhere. Outside of that, Black Panther has always been far more skilled than Captain America. Steve Rogers *NEEDS* the Super Soldier Serum, whereas T'Challa *DOES NOT NEED* the Heart Shaped Herb or the Vibranium Suit. He's worthy to have it but a Master without it. The Heart Shaped Herb and the Vibranium Suit just makes T'Challa that much more Better.
jah crispy Those marvel handbooks change all the time and most of those are base on votes and not what yhe characters can actually do because that's contradicting. I've read different ones and I've seen them change all the time. If you read the official Bio from Marvel on what they can actually do, then that will really prove who has more. That Power Scale is like Power lvls in DBZ...they don't count for shit lol.
I've heard it's written that Taskmaster can learn to perform physical skills at a superhuman level by watching them at increased speed but this puts great strain on him.
At Shan-Chi you said that even though Iron Fist is stronger you put Shan-Chi above him because he’s a better fighter. But at Taskmaster you said he’s only at Number 4 because of the reason that he only can copy the fighting style but not the powers hence he wouldn’t be the strongest one on the list (but the best fighter). These 2 statements kinda fight each other.
This list is contradicting. Taskmaster is faulted for not having super strength when at the top of the episode he stated this list is based on skill not strength. I’m guessing he let his own biased opinions regulate the placement of the characters.
Spider-Man's fighting prowess is closely linked with his powers; like his superhuman strength, speed and agility, complemented by his Spider sense. His only Martial art is" The Way of the Spider."
Jonny Hernandez One of the factors is that Spider-Man isn’t on this list is that SpiderMan holds back most of his punches if he wanted to he can kill a man with a single punch
Not even close. Marvel has rated fighting ability of their characters on their site. Both are rated 5 out of 7. Not rank. their rating out of 7 points is 5. Lots of characters with a 6. A bunch with a 7. Anyone with a ranking of 5 would be below ....everyone with a higher ranking ... right? So above either of them would be .... Omega Red, Moondragon, Mantis, Stick, Night Thrasher, Absorbing Man, US Agent, Ancient One, Psylocke, Gamora, Cable .... and on and on that list would go.
Donny Williamson true but hes no master. Cap trained him too. He combines that with his own spider agility and speed. He's never been considered a martial artist. Not even today..
Karnak has studied Martial arts scene he could walk and worked to remove the flaws from his mind and body for years in isolation from his people. While his cousin Blackbolt is known as the most powerful Inhuman Karnak is known as the most dangerous inhuman. While possessing no superhuman abilities he has punched way above his power class taking down enemies like Juggernaut, Magneto, Ultron, and a robot made by the Kree that was designed to kill Inhumans. His mind is also so advanced that he can resist telepathic attacks from the likes of phoenix. As for Black Panther knocking him out in one hit I believe that was the fault of lasy writing making Karnak look like a chump in black panthers series same goes for Daredevil.(by the way I'm a huge fan of both Black panther and Daredevil as well as everyone on this list I just think Karnak has a more lethal fighting style). Anyway my list would be…. Top Ten Fighters in the Marvel 1. Shang Che 2. Iron Fist 3. Black Panther 4. Karnak 5. Taskmaster 6. Captain America 7. Daredevil 8. Gamora 9. Elektra 10. Wolverine While I hate to put Wolverine so low on the list most comic and movie adaptations show him to be a skilled brawler that heavily relies on his Claws and healing factor to get close and end the fight quickly. Also his berserker rage makes it impossible for him to follow the rule of all martial arts, keep your head clear and never lash out in anger. As for taskmaster his technical skill is extensive but he has his limits Karnak would be able to take advantage of his offensive fighting style and overpower him. Captain America Has an amazing range of fighting styles but relies heavily on his shield and the super soldier serum and Karnak has a nac for disarming opponents or using their weapons against them. Daredevil was only able to knock Karnak out because he surprised him and because writers seem to think that Karnak can be Knocked out in one hit. I mean Karnak Beat the Thing in hand to hand combat (mostly because the Thing underestimated him).
I think what he is implying is that Task Master tends to rely just on his photographic memory a bit too much. When he does a move he expects to do more, but actually doesn't, it kinda leaves him dumbfounded for a second. That split second he finds himself wondering is brutal in a fight. In short, he's unable to improvise his own techniques and/or tactics sometimes.
Jonah Edwards Yeah and that neutralizes Captain Americas add ons too.Panther beat Cap in hand to hand combat they're physical attributes are similar he's just the better fighter.
I think Nathan Christopher Summers aka Cable belongs on this list just above Wolverine. He’s shown in the comics that he was able to defeat Wolverine with using his powers, and that was when Wolverine was powered up by Apocalypse as Death.
Marvel made Iron Fist look like a chump in the Netflix series. His GF was a better fighter then him.

Black Panther was too low, Taskmaster way too high. Taskmaster in particular often loses to these other characters because he relies on what he's learned from others instead of mastering his own abilities, his fight IQ alone is the lowest of the group.
K B
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Taskmaster has single-handedly fought off The Avengers. The truth is, he's rarely beaten in fights, instead cutting his losses and choosing to escape.
Writers have a bad habit of dumbing him down and making him unable to beat people he can't copy, and that's horribly inaccurate.
Paul Rebold
But he has never defeated Black Panther though.
Good job talking about Shang Chi
3 years before yesterday's announcement!!!
As a fan of Shang-Chi I'm hoping the film not only gets Shang-Chi's character right including his ever-changing views on the concepts of honor, and human nature but also has awesome fight scenes that accurately show why Shang-Chi is the best fighter in the Marvel Universe.
@@derrickhaggard yeah marvel better put a lot of there effort into the fight scenes...

teaser just came out
"This list isn't about strength. It's about technical skill."
"The Taskmaster isn't higher on this list because he doesn't have super strength like Captain America."
Sparky Mularkey I was thinking the same
Yup I noticed that too. Hypocrisy anyone?
Well where Taskmaster may be able to match the skill he can't supersede it... So in that case the power is a factor because it separates.
Udon Taskmaster should be top 2. So should regular taskmaster.
Explain to me how Captain America's several skills and relatively limited experience beat Wolverine's two hundred years of mastering and utilising every known martial art on this and several other planets.
Exactly, I was thinking the same.
Also, note that Wolverine is also Acrobatic.
To me, giving wolverine all of this credit is a new thing. In the 80s, it was his healing factor and his berserker rages that would ultimately save him. Besides what I said didn’t shingen or whatever his name is beat him handedly in the Frank Miller mini series?
Because Wolverine didnt apenas Hundred years knowing martial arts tf...
Wolverine is not Batman...
Because Marvel refuses to allow Captain Goodie Two Shoes to get his ass kicked.
Robin Thrush:
Yeah tell me about it, there actually used to be a time when Wolverine showed H2H skills that were "Captain America" tier......
Robin Thrush
Pretty much always looking half dead after a fight, then his healing factor kicks in. He's especially always gettin' his tail whooped in the X-Men movies. All he does is run, and swing with an occasional leap here and there. No agility whatsoever 😐😒. The Wolverine from the early 90's use to get it in.
Audioplugg maybe when they re-cast him we'll get the comic wolverine
I’m so confused. If black panther has mastered all the martial arts in the world and has access to previous panthers, then how tf is Captain America higher on the list?
Good point!
And black panther beat Wolverine in a fight without his healing factor which showed the flaws in his fighting style...and this list about fighting right
This list is off
Tbh same can be said for everyone in the list here lol.

Black panther should be above Karnak as he's embarrassed him before.

Karnak its suposed to be the reference in martial arts and hand to hand combat even to the best heroes. Its what he is suppoused to be... Anyway... There are several 7s and a TON of 6s. Daredevil would be pretty far down even if he was the best out of ALL of the people rated at 5.
Imagine how amazing a fighter Spider-Man would be if he was trained in every fighting style.
I know but they obv can't do that cuz he would be like the most op character ever barring supers like thor and sentry
There's a Spider Man in alternate universe who works for S.H.I.E.L.D. Where he's heavlly trained in hand to hand where he beat black widow.

Danish right? Shit like Batman and iron first. So dumb
Especially when they don't live there. But in defense, Chuck Norris.
Seeing you talk about Shang-Chi, I really hope the MCU movie does him justice with how incredible he is as a fighter.
I also hope he trains peter since he did in the comics
What do you think of his portrayal in the movie now that it's been out a while?
No I did not the mouse company wants our favorite heroes to be losers..
Honorable mention: Blade
Blade is a marvel character?! Damn. And Blade should definitely be in this list then. He would wipe the floor of most of these guys even though he lost to Dracula but to be fair, Blade didn't have his sword.
Blade listed Blade's fighting ability as 5 out of 7. He should mention all of the 7 out of 7 before talking about 5 out of 7, right? And, all of the 6 out of 7?
#1 should have been black panther. Him and iron fist are almost the same. But bc of the heart shape herb that makes panther super, he gets the win
K. Tucker Iron Fist could one shot BP tho if he got the chance to
Makhi Bridgett they've fought and ironfist was blood lusted and black panther still beat him. And black panther has tooken plenty of powerful punches
Omega Red (5 durability, 4 energy, 6 fighting, 4 intelligence, 3 speed, 5 strength)
Yeah?
Ares (6 durability, 1 energy, 7 fighting, 2 intelligence, 2 speed, 5 strength)
If you want to go purely by fighting ability ... that's just the one number to look at and you can ignore the rest.
DAREDEVIL
Kaister Gaming yea my boi
Is he also ur favorite superhero?
Kaister Gaming lol
Yeah he is
Daredevil is my 3rd favorite Marvel superhero behind Spider-Man and Thor
Matthew Murdock sup
I agree
Finally someone who doesn’t underate castle
Lol, Black Panther is top 3 easily.
Not near Wolverine, fall back
Zero Wolf pick up a comic. Wolverine has NEVER beaten black panther

Wait I thought that the list was about technique so why does having power only matter when it's task master
Raul Martinez
That's exactly what I was about to post. What a contradiction.
His power is his fighting skill
He uses hand to hand combat tho, so I guess it still counts
It's not really a power. Plus he retains all the skill he has copied.
Right. Wouldn't he get into one fight with Mr #1 and then instantly be equal to, if not better than him?
My top 10.
1. Shang Chi
2. Iron Fist
3. Black Panther
4. Captain America
5. Daredevil
6. Blade
7. Wolverine
8. Elektra
9. Moonknight
10. Black Widow
TaskMaster >>>>> Cap
Where's spidey?!
Task master
Just went and seen Shang-Chi,and I gotta say homeboy deserves that #1 spot! Wow what an awesome movie, it was so good my wife loved it!
Cap over BP ? How?

Cap, Wolverine and Taskmaster are no match for Black Panther. This list isn't good.
.... what?
OnNOn shaqa cap is best cap is love cap is life
black panther will beat everybody on this list
Black panther should have been higher!!!
Wade8 me too I was thinking at least top 5 but still a great list!
Agreed
Overrated
Wolverine has said deadpool is a "better killer than him"
Key word
Is
Killer
That doesn't mean he is a better fighter
Nigga, not a top ten killer list
Manuel Casillas That's because despite being a full on savage, Wolverine actually has restraints.
Manuel Casillas doesn't mean better fighter
This is a is a list on hand to hand combat.
Deadpool be like “I can’t tell you who didn’t let me on this list but it rhymes with polverine.”
Oh wow someone else who knows what they're talking about 🤦🏻♂️
I want to know how Task master made it when Deadpool once beat him WITHOUT HIS HANDS 😂
I'm pretty surprised Deadpool didn't make the list too. I've seen him beat Shatterstar, Cable and Wolverine before, but Wolverine wasn't at his best at the time....
Thank god you put Shang Chi Master of Kung-Fu first! This guy needs more love!
It was kind of obvious
Lemme guess top 3
I hope he appears in Iron Fist Season 2
I was so happy when he was number 1
Hasn't Gorgon owned him at least twice?
He needs his own movie. You could have him fight his father. Shang Chii's father is pure evil and wants him to follow in his dad's footsteps.
Thought black panther would be top 3 at least... huh weird
360nohope bro me 2
Me too cause he has already beaten Cap, Wolverine and Ironfist, I think.
Black Paradox yeah that’s what I was thinking
MistaWordz they sleep
Ty Senseì Word. Shit, Mantis don't even have superpowers and she put Thor to sleep with a nerve pinch.
Captain America 6
Black Panther 5
Do you honestly think Black Panther would be able to beat .... Ares or Mandarin or Sabertooth?
Black Panther (3 durability, 3 energy, 5 fighting skill, 5 intelligence, 2 speed, 3 strength)
Ares (6, 1, 7, 2, 2, 5)
Mandarin (4, 7, 7, 7, 4, 5)
Sabertooth (4, 1, 7, 2, 2, 4)
Keep in mind ... marvel has rating their ability to fight (which encompasses everything) so the ratings are official.
Eduardo Maia as in strength he can't perform to the same degree as someone like Daredevil or Iron fist Ect. He can just mimic the move
So you think a guy who can copy moves, but without the abilities as the original, is as good as the people he's copying? That's cute.
look at it in this logic a guy with a sledgehammer immitating a guy with sword... do you honestly expect the guy with the hammer to achieve the same results copying the guy withe sword?
Black panther def top 3. And Blade isn't on here... Disgraceful.
Chris Peaks
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Can you do smartest characters in DC than in Marvel
Omar Contreras Yh that’ll be good Reed Richards for marvel
Marvel actually has a list of them. Though they've been affirmative-actioning it to ridiculous degrees in the past five years. Moon Girl is supposed to be #1 now. Used to be Richards > Stark > Banner > Xavier, I think. Amadeus Cho kept bringing it up in the Incredible Herc run after WW Hulk since he was #7.
Robin Thrush Spider man is up there too
The original, yes. I just forget the order.
Namor?
My top 5 would have to go as follows:
1.Task Master
2. Shang Chi
3: Iron Fist
4: Daredevil
5: BP/Cap/Wolverine
Not to bash the assessments of the channel but you said we were talking purely about skill, which DOES make Taskmaster #1.
Honorable mentions:
Blade, Davos, Mr. X, Prince of Orphans, Fat Cobra, Tiger's Daughter, Bride of Spiders(something like that), Dog Brother, Wu Tang(yes they have had marvel appearances and are pretty skilled).
And cap has also beaten wolverine many times but i dont know about bp. In the crossover with dc caps and batmans fight was a draw
Marvel has real official ratings for this stuff on their site. Fighting ability ratings out of 7 (this doesn't include other stuff .. just fighting ability).
Taskmaster is 7
Shang Chi is 7
Iron Fist is 6
Daredevil is a 5
Black Panther is a 5
Captain America is a 6
Wolverine is a 7
Blade is a 5
Steel Serpent (davos) is a 6
Fat Cobra has no rating (there are thousands of characters, most have ratings)
I don't know who most of these characters you ended with are and I'm not going to try and research what the name is and then look them up.
Ares is a 7
Mandarin is a 7
Crossbones is a 7
Sabertooth is a 7
These are official numbers from Marvel.
2 min silence for those who think captain America is better fighter than wolverine and black panther
I prefer Cap. He wasn't created to pander to those who don't read comics
@@GroinFaceGroin you must be a conservative asshole

Black Panther would kill Captain America. So would Wolverine. Cable has defeated Cap twice and Cable & Wolverine have fought to a draw.
Moon night should’ve made the list
Aubbyd Shafiq at least he in the honorable mention
Fr
Wow I didn't know he was that impressive. What are his feats?
black widow should've been on the list
He's not that impressive really. He usually takes punches instead of blocking them so Taskmaster never copies his movements.
I agree with this whole list except cap... you contradicted yourself putting cap that high
tyler pontiff my point exactly. He's been dropped by black panther multiple times.
It should have been black panther at # 3 and cap at # 4
I don't think cap should be 4,I believe taskmaster is far more skilled than cap or even black panther.
tyler pontiff well I would understand your point if he focused on caps strength . But instead he highlighted caps stamina and durability which help him very much with his fighting style
I agree, he should be on number 10 at best if fighting skills is the basis alone
Moon knight has beat freaking deadpool twice and made taskmaster CRY. Why is he not in this list? (I know he is in the honorable mentions).
Taskmaster gets beat by literally everyone on the list, go figure
@@billbill6094 true but no one else made him cry other than moon knight
@@pantelisellinidis5956 lmfao I may be wrong but I believe it was more so he freaked taskmaster out because TM thought moon knight enjoyed the pain
Moon knight is not as skilled as these characters.
Black Panther and Daredevil are easily the most skilled fighters in all of Marvel.
Rick Scorsese gamora with or without enhancements stomp black panther and Daredevil, like mantis
Rick Scorsese you stupid Black Panther nor Daredevil can defeat Iron Fist
Black widow was called the deadliest assassin on earth, bad list
Can we actually have a Marvel legacy and Generations episode
IMPORTANT: LIKE FOR A HISTORY OF MOON KNIGHT:)
Taariq Mahmood He already did.
Taariq Mahmood, loved Moon Knight, have several original print issues. Shame that a character like his that was well written went away.
Black panther is above cap
@The middle ground you are a moron, wolverine and cap have fought 3 times and cap got owned every time. Stop spreading bs. And movies, wolverine doesn't even know how to fight in them so stop assuming bullshit as well
Daredevil and Black Panther should be in the Top 3. Panther has already beaten Cap in a hand to hand fight with pure skills and Daredevil has been stated to be more skilled than Cap, too. The only reason why in the comics they stalemated each other was because Cap has the advantage in Physical stats.
Khoi Le thank you
Black Panther has defeated Captain America far more times than Captain America has ever defeated Black Panther.
jah crispy
Cap beat Panther when Panther was weakened and even aknowledged that Panther was not as good as usual.
Your argument is invalid.
jah crispy
Actually Black Panther is better in every single category. The only thing that makes Captain America GREAT is his morals and his Super Soldier Serum, without it he's either skinny lil kid or a weak old man.
Black Panther was peak human befire taking the heart shaped herb. The herb just connects him to the Panther God Bast who then enhances him future. As far as skills go *ALL Royal Family members are trained since birth to be the Black Panther.* Captain America was trained when he was an adult and after he received the *Super Soldier Serum.*
Black Panther has *always had more skills* than Captain America.
The Heart Shaped Herb and the Vibranium Suit just makes T'Challa that much more Better.
jah crispy
Those marvel handbooks change all the time and most of those are base on votes and not what yhe characters can actually do because that's contradicting.
Iron Man: Hey Cap, everything special with you came out of a bottle.
Yeah, not really.lol He’s knocked out super soldiers and beat the piss out of Crossbones without the serum.
Why is Black Panther number 7 when he has defeated both Wolverine and Captain America?
Boat had to wake up from unconsciousness
Keon Coleman because Cap has beaten him too and did you not hear the explanation for Wolverine?
This list is contradicting. Taskmaster is faulted for not having super strength when at the top of the episode he stated this list is based on skill not strength. I’m guessing he let his own biased opinions regulate the placement of the characters.
I'm surprised spider man isn't in here with his way of the spider fighting style
That's kinda crazy when u think about it.. Because it doesn't feel like a type of list Spiderman would be on
Spiderman would kick all they asses. He's Amazing.
@@Captgbob124 no it isnt spiderman Is strong but that doesn't mean he has technique theres a difference power has nothing to do with it.
I think any of these could take any other on their day. These rankings are always going to be controversial
Black Panther and Daredevil should have tied for the #2 spot
Not even close. Marvel has rated fighting ability of their characters on their site. Both are rated 5 out of 7. Not rank. their rating out of 7 points is 5.
Lots of characters with a 6. A bunch with a 7. Anyone with a ranking of 5 would be below ....everyone with a higher ranking ... right?
So above either of them would be .... Omega Red, Moondragon, Mantis, Stick, Night Thrasher, Absorbing Man, US Agent, Ancient One, Psylocke, Gamora, Cable .... and on and on that list would go.
#10 Electra: Travels to China, gets taught by an old white guy.
Black panther should have captain America's spot
He deserves Shang-Chi's plus Reed Richards' spot on the intellectual top 10.
Cant wait for shang-chi Film coming Up .
#9 Gamora has super strength, augmented to be close to Adam Warlock level. Gets beaten by normal human Peter Quill in the movie.
PathsUnwritten drax was depowered too for the film
I consider the MCU an alternate reality, so I'm fine with the changes, I mean Tony didn't make Ultron in the 616 reality
Movies are not cannon!
PathsUnwritten peter quill is the son of a celestial in the mcu so yeah
WOAHHHHHH NO SPIDER-MAN???!!
ikr
Spiderman is superhuman. His skill relies on reflexes. He's not really a martial artist
John Lewis actually about a year or so ago in the comics Spider-Man took several lessons from Shang Chi. So he does know some martial arts.
Donny Williamson true but hes no master. Cap trained him too. He combines that with his own spider agility and speed. He's never been considered a martial artist. Not even today..
John Lewis well technically he used his own power to make his own martial art way of the spider
The Gorgon dude . He beat wolverine and Elektra at the same time while fighting off an army of shield soldiers.
Top Ten Fighters in the Marvel
1. Shang Che
2. Iron Fist
3. Black Panther
4. Karnak
5. Taskmaster
6. Captain America
7. Daredevil
8. Gamora
9. Elektra
10. Wolverine
While I hate to put Wolverine so low on the list most comic and movie adaptations show him to be a skilled brawler that heavily relies on his Claws and healing factor to get close and end the fight quickly.
“This list isn’t about strength but fighting skill”
“He’s not strong enough to be top 3”
Says powers don’t matter
Also says task master can’t beat cap because he can’t copy his powers
Seems legit
I agree, but this seems more of a grey area as he is not using super powers such as super strength, speed, agility, etc.
Exactly! Same thing with Iron Fist. Why mention he can punch through a helicopter using chi.
Joseph Brown Haha yea man
I think what he is implying is that Task Master tends to rely just on his photographic memory a bit too much. When he does a move he expects to do more, but actually doesn't, it kinda leaves him dumbfounded for a second. That split second he finds himself wondering is brutal in a fight. In short, he's unable to improvise his own techniques and/or tactics sometimes.
+Robert T But he's only a good fighter because he copies everybody else's powers
Black Panther beats Captain America, so why isn't he higher than him.?
infamous611 well because in a fight more than fighting skill is a factor. Panther’s all vibranium suit is a big factor in most fights.
Jonah Edwards Yeah and that neutralizes Captain Americas add ons too.Panther beat Cap in hand to hand combat they're physical attributes are similar he's just the better fighter.
infamous611 thank you
also it depends on how many times on character beat another
X-Winter boi eat a snickers
I think Nathan Christopher Summers aka Cable belongs on this list just above Wolverine. He’s shown in the comics that he was able to defeat Wolverine with using his powers, and that was when Wolverine was powered up by Apocalypse as Death.
